Great food! I order the quesadilla de pollo and strawberry soda. I’ve been here three times and the food is always consistent!

Very very good. Everything was delicious. Wife loved the fish tacos. Only complaint is the corn tortillas fell apart when eating by the time we got home. Might not be the case for eating there. They forgot to pack my tres leches cake but a phone call took care of it and I’ll be back tomorrow to pick it up.

I love this place! Must go and the woman who took our order had such an infectious smile, very friendly. The food was amazing, the carne asada and the chicken fajitas.

Best Mexican food I ever had. My wife and I has the chorri-pollo platter with rice and beans and we both enjoyed it very much. We ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla for our 2 year old and she enjoyed every bite. Great value with quality and quantity of food you get. We will definitely be going back soon and bring our friend to try.

This is the real deal Mexican. If you are looking for a fancy experience, table service, or people to bus your tables, you are in the wrong spot. They keep prices fairly low by making it «fast casual.» You order the food, go sit down at a table and then they call when its ready. Its not fancy. It is SUPER spicy, at least the 3 or 4 times I have ordered(so if you are hesitant, ask for not too spicy on your first go-round). But its like nothing you will eat at La Tolteca, Chilis, Don Pablos, etc etc. They aren’t catering to an Americanized version of Mexican food, so get those predispositions out of your head and get ready to explore something new and authentic. The tables are sparse so take out is probably a good idea.

Great food and good prices. The choripollo is the absolute best, as well as their tacos and other offerings. They had Horchata, which I’ve never had but fell in love with. This was my third visit(twice here, once to the original gas station where I discovered R&R) and every time is consistently great!

R&R is my go to when looking for take out! Always so delicious and offer a ton of vegetarian options. Only concern is I often have to check my tacos before I eat as I often find a piece of meat here or there. But it’s worth the time because they’re so good!

Everything is awesome. My whole family texts each other pictures when we’re here, because we love it that much. The chicken tortilla soup is especially incredible.

Our go to spot for tacos and carryout Mexican. We usually do the carne asada, carnitas, and barbacoa tacos. You have to get the barbacoa, it’s unreal. I’ve had most of their menu and it’s awesome. Quesadillas are huge. Tortas are delicious. Another favorite of mine is the Chori-Pollo platter. They do everything right. Check ‘em out.

Usually good food but wildly inconsistent heat. I like spicy food but last time had lamb tacos that were almost inedible. So I avoided them and got the pork that was so delicious the last two times but they were too spicy this time too. Finally, I was in a hurry and had 312 hour days in a row — didn’t notice I had been charged double — couldn’t have been by accident since I was the only customer there at the time. Can not be more disappointed.

I was a huge fan of R&R until a recent experience that has soured my attitude about the place. I ordered 2 tacos al pastor ~$ 5, 1 chicken burrito ~$ 7, 1 chorizo quesadilla ~$ 7, and a side of beans and rice ~$ 5. My bill was just over $ 30, $ 6 more than anticipated and when I picked up my order they did not even give me the beans and rice. Unfortunately I did not realize this until getting home. I will never visit or order from there again, but suggest those that do to check their bills and their food before paying/leaving.

HOTDAMN, best tacos I’ve ever had(I know, I know, they’re good for DC but LA/CALI/Not America is where it’s at – still need to try). Also, I think this is the best food pic I’ve ever taken? There is not even a filter on this photo, the lighting was just very bright. The Al Pastor tacos were delicious! I’ve been to the original R&R, and I would say my tacos from this one were better. I think this could solely be because at THIS R&R I ate my tacos right away in the restaurant. When you bring them home, they get super soggy and fall out and are not as delicious. So sit your butt down and consume them immediately. Also, the pineapple juice drink was great with the tacos.

One of my absolute favorite taco places that I’ve been to so far and a gem in White Marsh. My new go to is the chicken huarache– though I should add that my lamb and pork eating friends say that those ones are out of this world. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the huaraches. From the thick tortilla base to the avocado and sour cream topping– all the flavors meld together perfectly, making it a tasty and filling option. If huaraches aren’t your thing, I definitely recommend their tacos, which are a classic. No matter what you order, the one thing you’ll notice is all of the food is authentic and if that’s not your thing, Don Pablo’s is right down the road. ;)

This place is the best, we used to live in Elkridge and visited the original and when we moved closer to north Baltimore started going to the R&R at their new location, they have a store front and dining area and much nicer than going to the gas station the original was located in. Food is amazing, best Mexican I’ve had in Maryland, honestly. The tacos, enchiladas, and specials are all so good never had anything bad here. Good service, sometimes can be a bit slow even when they aren’t too busy not sure what’s up with that, but never slow enough to be annoying.

Hands down the best authentic Mexican food around. Nothing ever disappoints here! It can get pretty busy at times so definitely call ahead for carry out. If not sit down, relax, and when you get your food it’ll be worth it!

Tried out this place out for dinner recently. Gotta say that it didn’t live up to the hype for me. I ordered the vegetarian tacos, black beans, and salad. The order seemed to take forever on a relatively slow night. We were one of three groups in the restaurant, granted it’s a pretty small location. The tacos were disappointing, there wasn’t anything to make them stand out among the crowded masses of mexican food. It seemed like they were mostly made up on lettuce and unimpressive salsa. My friend ordered the chicken tacos and commented that they were alright. We ordered the food to eat-in and I was surprised that it still arrived in Styrofoam containers. This detracted from the experience for me. When I eat out I like the ambiance of real plates and utensils. It seemed tacky to have the food served this way and really lessened the overall experience for me.

I really like eating at this place and I do very often. I even recommend it to lots of my friends but after today maybe not so much. I ordered a burrito which my go to. It is always good! Today a woman took my order at the register and handled the cash. She was not the one at the grill but when I looked up from my table I saw her rolling up my food touching the tortilla itself without the use of gloves. I lost my appetite. I don’t know if she even bothered to wash her hands between the cash handling station and preparing my food because I was not watching the whole time.

The chicken huaraches(chicken, some type of tortilla/bread, and tons of gooey cheese with two small avocado garnishes) is DELISH. Also, the plantains and tres leches cake are yummmmy!!! I am a huge tamale fan but I really didn’t like the chicken tamale here. Yummy food but most of it is not at all healthy! Lol it’s mostly carbs and meat.

Great food and friendly staff. I had Huaraches el Pastor and fresh chips and guacamole. My coworker had shrimp fajitas. He is from Utah and laments that our town(Columbus) had terrible Mexican food. Shrimp fajitas are his litmus test and R&R passed with flying colors. They even gave him extra tortillas at no charge since the 2 they gave him were not enough.

Great first visit. I ordered the pork tacos and a platter with rice, beans, cheese and steak. The flavor was wonderful! Be sure to grab some water when you eat here because they do not hold back on the spice! The food was tasty and it was very fresh and cook perfectly. I will be back to try other dishes. Great job!

I’ve had a variety of items from the menu and cannot recommend one over another. Is this a good thing? Maybe. The food is solid but not enough that I have a favorite-at least not yet. Like another reviewer said, the service could be a bit friendlier. However I won’t remove a star. 4 star experience for Mexican.

This is the best Mexican or Tex Mex food in the Baltimore and Washington metro areas. I have been to R&R several times and the most recent visit was this weekend. The staff are always very courteous and the restaurant is very clean. Our favorites are the chicken enchiladas, fish tacos, and quesadillas. But really, anything is going to be amazing. I prefer this restaurant to the one next to the gas station. It is nice to eat at a table rather than in your car.

When I visited my boyfriend in Maryland, he brought me here for lunch because I was super hungry. He really like the food here and thought I would too. He was right. He says it’s usually busy during lunch hours because lots of people stop by for food. It’s located in a business center so I assume many employees may eat here for lunch break. My boyfriend recommended me tacos al pastor, as he had tried it before. I got two of them because I knew my appetite was small even though I was hungry. The pork was very flavorful. I am surprised R&R is a chain because they were some good tacos. My boyfriend ordered huaraches al pastor. This was even more flavorful than mine. It was like a deconstructed taco that also came with avocado. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and urge anyone in the area to visit.

Update: Came here to try it again because I want to be trendy and support small businesses! Ha. Really, I just wanted some Mexican food that was authentic. Got the taco salad, asked for a side of pinto beans and the chicken on the side since last time the chicken was sopping with grease. It came out, sans pinto beans and chicken on the salad. I gave the directions in English and Spanish, so there was no language barrier. That made me angry they couldnt follow directions. Hubby got green enchiladas, and he devoured them. Spicy and filling. Friend at the table also got a cheese quesadilla and it was delicious! Four for food! But service and so on, a thee at best.

Oh. My. Goodness. I’m just going to keep this review short because nothing I can say will do this place justice. Literally the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. I am huge on Mexican cuisine, and I’ve never had a tacos that was this tasty, the pork was tender and juicy, the combination of onions, cilantro and pineapple made my tastebuds drive to the trainstation, wait in a queue, and buy tickets straight to flavortown. The sandwich my fiancé ordered was amazing. For $ 7 you really get your money worth, it was huge! The service was very friendly and quick! The restaurant was kept cleaner than a Chic Fila on a Monday morning. The bathrooms also fit that bill(super clean). The mariachi music was really enjoyable. It’s no wonder Guy Fieri came here. 10⁄10 would come at least 3 – 4 times a week.

There’s a delicious Mexican restaurant that I stumbled upon with a friend in Baltimore County not too long ago. We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and pulled into a strip mall. As we were scanning the restaurants we noticed R&R Taqueria and decided to give it a try, we’re both always down for Mexican food. When we walked in, we noticed that there were a lot of newspaper articles on the wall. Apparently R&R Taqueria has been recognized for their wonderful Mexican food and we were excited for our meal. We ended up loving everything that we ordered and decided to head back soon with a few friends. A few weeks later some friends and I were contemplating lunch and I convinced them to come with me to the place I lovingly call ‘the greasy Mexican spot near White Marsh.’ So we got in the car and headed East. When we arrived, we each placed our order at the counter and sat at a table. As it turns out, the group I went with wasn’t too much of an exciting bunch because we each ordered tacos or quesadillas. Someone I was with ordered the Chicken Quesadilla. The quesadilla was loaded with cheese and chicken and was a delightful greasy mess. The Steak Quesadilla was the same as the chicken, packed with meat and cheese into a delicious greasy mess. Another friend ordered the Cheese Quesadilla and this got an astounding thumbs up as well. I decided to order something different than a Quesadilla and went with two tacos. The first one I tried was the Carne Asada. The meat was flavorful and juicy and all of the toppings really worked well together creating a basic, yet delicious taco. I also ordered one Chicken Taco. It had the same toppings as the carne asada taco and was just as delicious. Next time I visit I would probably order the same two tacos again. The portion was filling and really hit the spot. If you’re looking for something authentic and greasy that has been featured on Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives, head over to R&R Taqueria in Baltimore County.
