Tiff’s Casual Grill and Bar

My family and I took in dinner here on Thursday night. Place wasn’t all that busy for dinner time (5:45 or so), but that’s ok. The bar had about 7 or so people at it and I didn’t notice any tables being used for dinner. To be honest, I’ve never been here when it was busy, so it being sorta empty didn’t strike me as weird. I guess I don’t come at the busy times…
Before I start, I would just like to say I wish places would lower their prices for their Chicken Wings appetizer. $ 9.00 for 8 wings is just crazy to me!!! I love me some wings, but I don’t love me paying that much for small pieces of chicken!
Ok, so here we go. Seated pretty quick, and our server, Jessica, was very nice, courteous, and attentive… I ordered their Southwestern Spicy Burger, medium, with well done fries. For my drink, an Iced tea with lemon (they have both unsweet and sweet tea btw). My wife a fish sammach with fries, My Mom their Spicy Black Bean Burger with fries, and one of my boys a burger, with fries (cheddar cheese on the side) and the other their 3-​cheese quesadilla.
Food came out pretty quickly and was nice and hot (not opposed to cold, but you know what I mean… lol). My fries were well-​done as requested and my burger was fat, juicy and cooked to order. Very yummy! You also get a nice helping of fries — Not like some places where you get just a few… I was very happy with my meal. My Mom and boys’ both liked their meals (but the Quesadilla was a tad small for $ 8.00, with no side). My wife thought her fish sammach could have had better spices and was kinda bland tasting. Also, when I ordered a refill on my Iced Tea, I was given a fresh glass with a fresh lemon wedge on the rim. A Pet Peeve of mine was achieved :-)
Bottom line, it’s a nice place for Dinner. Prices are pretty good for the most part — Looking at their menu, they are comparable with other places in the area. For 5 meals (no apps), just a tad over $ 60 bucks. Highly recommended!!!

Went there for the ufc 194 fights. Worst bartenders/​service I’ve ever seen. Ever.
The bar manager went behind the bar to make 4 old fashions, the guy bartender wearing jeans and an affliction tee shirt said «I’ll grab you the bitters» and came back with Worcestershire sauce. The manager turned and said, «this isn’t bitters» and the kid responded with, «really? I’m not going to lie I’ve been using that for weeks.»
Two girls ordered drinks near me from the female bartender working. One got a beer, the other got a tequila sunrise. The bartender had to ask other customers how to make a tequila sunrise. Who trains these people? I would understand if it were some obscure cocktail someone got in a Hell’s Kitchen speakeasy one time, but really? These kids can’t make an old fashioned or a tequila sunrise?
Food runners come behind the bar in droves to further gum up the works of the bartenders by idly standing with their arms full of plates and zero knowledge of where the food is supposed to go. While the bartenders scramble to remember where the food belongs and it begins to get cold, more people (including myself) wait 15 – 30 minutes for a beer.
Managers just stand around aimless, pulling tickets out of the service bar printer, come behind the bar to hand the tickets to the bartenders, and get in their way even more. I’ve been in the industry a long time and that is unheard of. Manage the place, touch tables, ask people like me why they look so miserable sitting at the bar, but stay out of your obviously weak and overwhelmed bartenders way to hand them a drink ticket if you’re not going to help.
I think this is the bar that would make John Taffer quit and change careers.

Last time my husband and I were here was back in Oct 2013. We decided to give it another try and see if anything changed.
Service was 100% better. my husband and I ordered a bunch of apps.
Fried pickles– excellent. but the sauce they give is a spicy ketchup sauce. I dont think it goes well. I asked for ranch and it made it so much better
Chicken wings. they were good but they messed up on the sauce. not the waitresses fault cause she read everything back to us … but they were good.
Pierogies– Were excellent!
Fried Calamari — Very good
Kielbasa and sour kraut was excellent!!!
Overall it was definitely a better experience then last time and we will definitely be back again!
