Good place to grab a beer before the IHSA tourney in downtown Peoria. But I don’t know why it’s called the«lockerroom.» They aren’t open until 6 on Saturdays. Not a good place to watch a game or eat, but if you want to get drunk with the occasional homeless visitor and a hit-or-miss hot chick or two then check it out

Good place to grab a pint or two and a snack. Disappointed there are no local craft beer available.

This place came highly recommended from the receptionist at the Civic Center Daily specials Great server I am at a conference in Peoria and I like to taste the local flavor. This has the look of a sports pub, everyone in here is so friendly. My server has a cool shirt and a backwards baseball cap. He told me to sit anywhere, told me his name was Sam and holler when I was ready. Gosh this place is cool. I ordered one of the lunch special, a full stacked BLT and skinny French fries. No way could anyone eat all of the fries. The only thing this must be an RC town, I know retro right, but it adds to the charm. Service 5 stars, Food 5 stars, Ambience 5 stars.

Located across from the Peoria Civic Center, this is one of those sports bars around to cater solely to pregame and postgame crowds. We came here before a Rivermen game to find it nearly empty, though. Probably a good thing with only one bartender and one waitress on hand. Things might be completely different depending on whatever the show is that night. There’s no reason for a place this close by not to do a decent business. Beer selection is mostly limited to the American macros and a few bottled imports and crafts. There is Guinness on draught, but expect a pour sloppier than a happy golden retriever. Food menus were nowhere in sight. They’d do well to advertise these more prominently – most people like to avoid going all out at a game when it comes to eating.

We went here for a banquet for my daughter(in the afternoon), and a good time was had by everyone in attendance. This is a nice sports bar with an open floor plan that separates the dining area from the bar area, which is nice for those not wanting to go an all-out bar(or those attending for dinner with the family or before something at the Civic Center). They do have a pretty good build-your-own-burger menu.

This place is a great deal for lunch. For about $ 6 you get a huge burger and a side of your choice(I love the sweet potato fries). Plus, you can customize the burger however you prefer… type of bun, cheese, and toppings including BBQ, bacon, avocado, onion strings, fried egg, you name it! They also have customized salads(great for when I’m on a low-carb diet) and we were told that they will have pizzas soon. Service is always good. The atmosphere is nothing special but they are making improvements each time I go. Last time I noticed they were having Friday night karaōke.

This new bar has taken over the former Eamon Patrick’s location. Much more open and brighter than when it was Eamon’s. Darts and video games on one side, bar and tables on the other. A few TV’s showing sports. Nothing special about the décor.
