We have stayed here a few times over the last year and it was nice. However on this visit I don’t know if it is under new management or what was going on but it was so bad we left and went to another hotel. There was a terrible sewage smell in the hall and even in our room. They tried to tell us it was grease traps in the restaurants down the road. We knew it wasn’t it smelled like sewage. Then we came out one morning and there were a bunch of men drunk, still drinking and smoking in the patio area so we couldn’t enjoy sitting there. They were still there when we left to do some fun things and when we came back late afternoon we were going to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio but there were beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere, no one bothered to clean it up. Our room still stunk. They offered a bottle of febreeze! We were over it and moved to another hotel. We will not stay here again and our family in town said they will not recommend them to anyone else. Unless something changes don’t stay at this Hampton inn. A couple of days after I left this review we talked to another couple that left this Hampton. My husband and I thought we were getting sick because we had been sneezing and coughing. The other couple said the same thing and they checked the air condition filter and it was filthy. We were all so disappointed because this Hampton was so much closer to our family. New management? I would not recommend this Hampton unless they fix issues. There is a Hampton north on grand ave in surprise-very nice.

Hampton Inn are always great, this one was also great. The staff was awesome to me. And I learned to book directly from the Hilton webste, cheaper and I get my Honor points.

I’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn several times in the last few months and have always had a positive experience. The location is convenient in the west valley — close to where I need to be for work, close to the stadium, close to the outlet malls. All of the staff that I have interacted with have been friendly and efficient. I typically check-in online before I arrive, when I get to the desk, they hand me my keys and I am on way. The internet is slow(but free). There is ample parking(free). The elevators are slow. The breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are well appointed for the price and include couch, desk, fridge and microwave. Overall, no complaints. I will continue to stay here when I am in the area.

Just concluded a 6 night stay at this location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Hotel was quiet and peaceful at night — no complaints at all… Would stay here again. The breakfast area was clean and was attended to throughout serving time. The breakfast selection was plentiful and a real value.

Very clean rooms. I have stayed at several Hampton Inns. This inn is by far the cleanest. The room was perfect. It was clean and smelled great. The inn also has several great places to eat within an easy walk: PF Changs, chipotle grill, corner bakery and café, red robin, and more. Great location. Great place to stay.

Great place. Friendly and HELPFUL staff. Ask for a great place to eat or get copies or anything about the area and you won’t be disappointed. Clean comfortable rooms(standard fair for Hampton Inn). Modest décor, quiet. All the expected amenities. Convenient to my business locations.

We have stayed at Hampton Inns in a number of locations — and over quite a period of time — many years. We have noted that more recently there have been good improvements! We were super impressed with the staff — they really tried to customize our visit to meet our needs. A few hours before our arrival, my husband had called to request a certain type of room that hadn’t been available when he made the reservation. When we arrived later — we received the wonderful news that just within the last 20 minutes someone had canceled, and«yes,» the type of room my husband became our room! We were so pleased! We were not just given«lip service» to our request. Hilton Diamond Members have very convenient parking in the front of the hotel.(We are not Diamond members.) Every time we entered the hotel, we were greeted by name! Our room was clean and the lighting was by far much better than most hotels(which are sometimes very lacking in adequate lighting!!!) While I am not very familiar at all with Phoenix, we were very pleased with the location. We could walk to a business area downtown, there was public transportation close by, and a huge hospital«right there!» There is a nice complimentary breakfast — It did seem higher priced than other Hampton Inns we have stayed in. We’d most definitely stay here again.

Chose to stay here for the night because of free continental breakfast & pet friendly amenities. The room was a good size, there was 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, tv, and small table. The bed was comfy and clean. I liked that the hotel was conveniently placed around a lot of restaurants. PF Changs, the Elephant Bar, a bar, and some other restaurants were less than a 5 minute walk away. My only complaint would be that the room was hot. We had to lower the AC to 70 degrees to get it at a bearable temperature. I’m from Vegas and I’m used to hot, but not THAT hot.

Stay here on my regular trips to Peoria to visit family. I have enjoyed every stay. My recent stay 9⁄6 — 9⁄8(2013) wasn’t looking promising when I returned to my room and discovered and outright party going on next door. Loud music, screaming… Thought I was next to a frat house. Oh and it was 11 pm… I immediately went to the desk and asked to be moved. The night person, whose name escapes me, was more then accommodating. She knew about the noise already and was dealing with that. But immediately moved us to another room, far away from the party boys. Her demeanor, coupled with a nice continental breakfast, complimentary wireless a comfortable room made this another good stay.

Good rate for your stay in the area. A good complementary breakfast. The breakfast items are beyond continental. 3 star rating due to uncomfortable stay. Front Desk personnel made immediate accommodations, but wasn’t a good experience especially for my Mom. Room that we were transferred to had an a.c. that didn’t work well. During our stay temperatures were as high as 122 degrees!

Found the Hampton Inn when a medical emergency brought us to town. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant in helping us book a room. The room is lovely, one of the nicest Hamptons we have stayed in. Do wish the pool opened before 8am. But other than that, would highly recommend.

I have been to some really nice Hampton Inns before, but this is not one of them. The rooms are okay– not super spacious but not cramped. The counter staff that I spoke with were all very friendly and helpful, but the manager sounds like kind of a dick. I shall explain: There is a bar/club/restaurant next to the hotel. During my stay, the bar sponsored a Jordan Sparks concert(I had to ask who she is, but apparently, she has something to do with some season of american idol) and a P Diddy concert. When I got back from a looong work day, the walls of the hotel were vibrating with bass from the concert. I went to down to the front desk: Could they move my room to one less noisy? Unfortunately, they had 10 calls in 10 minutes for guests wanting to know the same thing. The gals at the front desk were overwhelmed and called on the manager for help. Now, I understand that the hotel has nothing to do with the noise level– they are not responsible for the bar next door. *However,* a good manager would have told the front desk folks to apologize profusely, offer to walk over to the bar to have a chat with the event person, and hand out earplugs by the bucketful. This manager’s response? «Let the guests call the cops.» Wow. So, not the utmost concern for the guests’ well-being. Also, the hotel lobby and elevators smell strongly like a sewer. Rooms did not, thank goodness. Still, there is free internet access and continental breakfast in the morning– the happy reasons to stay in Hampton’s.
