At the height of a frustrating experience with a wifi data device that wasn’t functioning, I was referred to GoWireless by Verizon after several phone calls with long hold periods netted no resolution. I wasn’t certain as to reason for the referral at the time but am very glad I took the initiative to bring the unit to this store for assistance despite it having been purchased from Best Buy. I bought the wifi«hotspot» for a former in-law after hearing he was recovering from an illness and had no Internet service. Armed with little knowledge of digital equipment of any type that isn’t branded by Apple, I found myself in «Techno Hell» when the unit failed to operate leaving my former in-law without access to Web sites that could assist him in his recovery. Despite my displeasure with the unit which was not purchased from GoWireless nor to my knowledge is it even sold at their store, I encountered phenomenal assistance from Jaime Fernandez who treated me as a customer and friend. It certainly wasn’t his responsibility to troubleshoot the device but he did so nonetheless and successfully got it to operate. The customer service I received was beyond what I had expected and I’ld certainly recommend the GoWireless location on West Thunderbird Rd, Peoria AZ, for all things wireless. Thank you again, Jaime.

UPDATE– they have a new district manager, Dustin, who reached out to me numerous times and made it right. He had one of his«best guys» Chris, work with me and Chris was phenomenal. He even managed to get me an extra gig of data, while lowering my bill! They might not be a corporate store, but I felt like Chris and Dustin did everything they could to make everything right. Hopefully they will have more staff in there soon(it’s definitely needed), but I would recommend Chris to anyone and I can tell Dustin really cares about his stores(he even returned a Sunday voicemail after just picking up a Christmas tree with his family). A+ !!! __________________ I got an email from some from that store and when I replied, no follow up. I went once more today in the afternoon, and I could tell that if I thought I was waiting before, it would be an even bigger joke now. They must really want to lose customers. I went yesterday and waited for over 30 minutes, knowing exactly what I wanted. I knew the model of phone and was ready to spend $ 400 on it and renew my contract for two more years. There were two staff members, helping the only other two people in the store while I was there and they never got around to me. I went back this morning. Waited another 35 minutes, again, no help. I will never go back to this location and when I called corporate, all they could tell me was«that shore is a franchise». I have been with Verizon for 13 years but my contract is up and AT&T will be getting a call tomorrow. Bottom line– don’t waste your time here. No one will help you.
