The 80s are back… Hairbangers Ball at The Landing. A great night on the Riverfront… plenty of hairspray and spandex for a summer night of rocking on the Riverfront. Easy access, great parking, chairs and picnic tables available for seating, or bring ur own lawn chair. Reasonably priced entertainment to kickoff the weekend. Visited this venue for the first time 4^th of July weekend for the 38 Special concert. The crowd that came out to see the band was interesting to say the least. Great for people watching. The stage was easy to see from anywhere, standing or sitting. Sound system was good. This is an outdoor venue; bring your own lawn chairs if you want to sit. The view of the river is beautiful at night! The area is very clean and they provide indoor bathrooms that were stinky but did the job better than a porta potty. There were also outdoor vendors selling food and drinks. We bought $ 4 tickets to use for any drink you wanted at the booths. Small offering including Smirnoff ice, red apple ale, and a couple beers. Food included your typical fair food: corn dogs, funnel cake, ect. Dress casual and for the weather; ladies I would not wear heels. Overall a budget friendly, entertaining night out on Water Street.
