Nothing says poor customer service like a 12 dollar bait and switch by management. After waiting 45 minutes for service the manager approached us to apologize. He offered us a free round of drinks as apology so we accepted and even ordered food. When it was time for us to pay we noticed our drinks had not been comped as the manager had stated they would. We assumed it was a mistake so we approached him. His response was, and I quote, «Oh I just meant I’d get you your drinks. You still have to pay for them.» Worst customer service ever. I do not recommend anyone support this business. Not with a lying con of a manager.

There are fun gaming machines in the bar. Cheap drinks galore. There are other arcade styled games throughout the place including Buck Hunt, Golden Tee, bags, shuffle board, and darts. Great place for groups! They have a tower special where you get a tower of beer(your choice) with an ice block in the middle. You get to pour at your will which is nice. Food is pretty good — typical bar food. I really like the chicken philly sandwich — toasted hoagie with grilled chicken onion and peppers. The Bullpen chips are super crunchy and tasty when dipped in ranch. I would give it five stars but the location seems a little unsafe and the service isn’t always the best.

What a well hidden Peoria secret! Okay, so the location put me off a bit but this place is huge with shuffleboard, 2 sets of bags boards, darts, pool, and some sort of very popular punching bag game. Bowling alley is connected and the bar has the biggest tv I’ve ever seen in my life. There is a separate area for gaming machines and a backroom for private parties. Their food is priced inclusive of Peoria’s astronomical 10.25% food tax which is a really cool thing to do. Plus the prices still seemed reasonable. Best items we had were catfish curls, wings(boneless and boned), and cheese balls. Stella cidre on draft was a bonus too at $ 3. Some shots were on special but I would not recommend them here, they were barely drinkable. Definitely returning here for football season though!

This was a nice lively place. They were having a St Jude benefit so a portion of all sales went to that great organization. Their signature sandwich is a turkey cheese on pretzel roll. The sauce was a bit spicy but not overpowering. It was just ok with the bread slightly over toasted. Sweet potato tots were cooked perfectly with a slight crisp. They do have a nice beer selection. Also, the wait staff was very cordial.

Not a fan of the food here. I came with a party of 18 and the service was fair considering the large party but the waitress was unfriendly and had no personality whatsoever. When tips are based on service, you would think a little smile and communication would come in handy. At one point she said, «hand me that!» When referring to something she couldn’t reach. Seemed put out to reach or even ask nicely. I got the buffalo chicken salad and the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes were fresh and good but the chicken was overcooked, tough, and tasteless. My daughter and husband were extremely disappointed with the tenderloin. It was very large but an obviously terrible cut of meat with lots of gristle. The atmosphere is great for a large group celebration and great games like pool, darts, bags, shuffleboard, etc. But this has been my 2nd visit to the BullPen and the first experience as far as the poor and unfriendly service was unchanged. The BullPen sandwich is a good and safe choice here.

When it comes to watching UFC, this is where we come. Plenty of tv’s and plenty to choose from, drink wise. The staff is super friendly and the times we come we get very good service from the girls. They have plenty of room and have other games to play while you hanh out with friends for drinks or food. Can’t say much about the food as I haven’t eaten there but people seem to order and it looks good if that helps.

We went late on a Friday night. The owners son was working the bar and had no clue what time the kitchen stopped serving food. The waitress never came to our table, I guess we were the wrong color«white». I think they have the worst pizza I have ever eaten. When we were trying to cash out our tabs they didn’t even know how. Worst service, food and atmosphere, best part is they couldn’t ring us up so we didn’t have to pay! I will never go there again.

Bullpen is a large sports bar with cheap drink specials and reasonable price bar food. We have those beer towers that’s cheap and some sort of drink special every day. The place can fill up during UFCPPV’s or big games e.i. Superbowl .etc. but it’s large enough to handle it that you don’t feel it’s that crowded. During busy days the waitresses can be sort of a wait on service but that is probably cause of management and the system they run but the staff is friendly though. A down side could be it the disenfranchised«urban» youth that hang around outside the bar during weekends(lock your cars lol… no seriously) …but with that said I always see police or some sort security there. and it’s not a danger factor with the teenage«urban» youth but the annoying factor.

Cheap food and drinks. Pool tables, bags, darts, and shuffleboard. Good place to go before or after bowling or a movie. Plenty of TVs for watching the big game.
