I have had 3 Macbook Pros with this Best Buy. I have had their Geek Quad coverage for 2 of my Macbook Pros. Every… single…time… I come to this Best Buy(at least 5 times I’ve been here, at LEAST)… no one knows what they’re doing. The customer service is horrible beyond the guy who greets you at the door. Every single encounter I have had with a Geek Squad workers has been beneath poor. NONE of them provided similar information, no one was ever on the same page, and there was a lot of «I don’t knows» being said by the WORKERS! As IF their job wasn’t to, oh, I don’t know, FIGUREITOUT! I just had to make THREE trips to and from Best Buy because the sales associate sold me the wrong charger for my Macbook when I brought both my Macbook AND my old charger to show them so that there wouldn’t be any confusion. Am I mad? Absolutely. But I’ll be alright after I post this review. Listen, if you can help it, do NOT go to this Best Buy. There workers are young kids it looks like who have no idea what their doing. I want to say so much more but if I do I might begin to curse to get my point across. I sincerely hope this review reaches someone in power at Best Buy because the service at Peoria, Illinois’ Best Buy is ridiculous and appalling. I’ve gone to this Best Buy at least 5 times in a span of 4 years… there’s a problem there. I don’t know if it’s management, the hiring process, I don’t know but I hate this Best Buy so so much. So much. And the only reason I gave them one star is because I had to rate somewhere on the star scale.

Agree that this store is understaffed. Was able to go on a Saturday and look at laptops without being approached for about 20 minutes and then flipped through iPad accessories still without anyone talking to me. I did stop by the phones for a minute and was immediately approached by someone so that was the one extra star up there. Just really not what Best Buy used to be at all.

Lousy service. I was able to walk a lap around the entire store without being approached and if you tell that to any BB employee, they’ll tell you that should never happen. Very poor customer service and a bad representation of the company.

Worst customer service ever! I went here to look at laptops and I wanted help trying to decide which one to get. I waited about 30 minutes to get someone to help me. This woman came in after me and rudely butted in that she was going to take a computer home today and of course he wanted the sale over my possible sale so he helped her before anyone helped me. I’ll go somewhere else to get my laptop.

I went to best buy to get 2 computers for my business. The person that helped us was Marquise. He had amazing customer service and was a huge help. We walked out knowledgeable, happy, and satisfied with our purchase. If you go there ask for Marquise u won’t be let down! !!

Came here to pick up an ipad(since they won’t ship them to you). Man behind the customer service counter was quick to help and didn’t give us much hassle when we didn’t have the credit card, just an ID. Around 7pm on a random Thursday, its looks erie, surrounded by fog and located located waaay in the back of the strip mall, so keep your eyes peeled for the sign or Target, it’s a sign you’ve gotten close.

Worst experience ever. I went to Best Buy to shop for a car stereo, because they have installation on site. Looking at their display there were maybe 8 or 9 car stereos, total in the store. No customer service at all. I was ignored. Completely. Will NEVER spend money in this Best Buy ever again. I should have learned my lesson years ago. I will buy online and find an installer rather than try to get these jackholes to open their eyes. Why should I have to beg to spend my money?

This store is the Most Jacked up Best-Buy I’ve ever seen, Their customer service is horrible, their geek squad sucks and their inventory department is blind. Maybe I’m a-little biased. I placed an order only to have them inform me that the item is out of stock and will be shipped to the store. I later find out that they canceled the order because the item is out of stock and that I have to place the order again in order for the system to ship the items into the store, In the meanwhile I pick-up the items that were in the store only to find out the items were lost in the store and they could not find them, not to mention it took over an hour for them to even locate my order. Once they do find my order and i place the order for the missing out-of-store items then I am not able to leave until the items I just purchased are marked as «picked» in the system which takes nearly an hour. I call back about a week later, turns out the items came in completely trashed and were no good, yet no-one informed me of this, and I am patiently waiting for the items to arrive, so finally the General Manager calls me who as been out of town(and knows nothing) reviews my situation and calls me, He didn’t even know where the items I ordered were, but come to find out they were in the store(they had arrived yesterday). I politely explain to the Manager that his staff is incompetent and that i diverse some sort of compensation.(which he failed to provide) So when I go to pick the newly received items once again, the blind inventory department is unable to find the items again, and I’m stuck waiting for them to pop-up. I took my stuff and left.
