You won’t find a nicer hotel in the Pensacola area for the price. The staff is great. Meghan, Toreaus, Stan, and Jessica amongst the others all work great together to make you feel right at home. I’ve been in this hotel for over four months due to work in the area and I’ve been very pleased. The only downfall is it takes 20 minutes to get to Pensacola Beach, but that is negatated by the fact it is only minutes from downtown, the mall, and many restaurants. If you enjoy fishing, there are a lot of places close. I’m in a suite that includes two bedrooms, one downstairs in the living area and a loft upstairs. The loft upstairs has its own bathroom and TV. The downstairs area has two TVs, a fireplace, full refrigerator, full stove/oven, dishwasher, bathroom, and vaulted ceilings. This is not a five star resort on the beach, but I’ve had a pleasant stay and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone on an extended or short stay.

Do Not Stay at This Hotel: The location is obscure and hidden off a side road next to power grids. The General Manager was rude, unprofessional and insisted on charging us a $ 200 incidental fee for a room in case we «smoked» !!! After questioning the incidental fee, the General Manager refused my elderly mother and I service in spite of having purchased a Hotwire ticket! The customer service was non– existent … even after informing the General Manager that we had traveled from NC to bury our Father who was a Veteran. She did not seem to care at all. The hotel is shabby looking and I would never recommend anyone to stay here. We are taking our complaints to the highest levels of their Managment. What an unfortunate experience!

Initially, we were a little leery about staying here, as we had stayed at another hotel very near this one, and it was a little sketchy, dirty and very outdated. We booked online at because of the price, the type of hotel, location, and because they accept pets. The room was a very clean, 2 queen bed suite with a full kitchenette(full size stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink with disposal) with a pull-out sofa, and there was plenty of room for our family of five, plus our 50 lb. dog. There was ample space for the dog crate and room for the kids to move around and play without having to jump from bed to bed for entertainment. It was very updated with granite countertops in kitchen and bath, and the tub/shower and toilet area was very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they offered a great breakfast, including a self-serve waffle maker, varying hot foods(biscuits and gravy, breakfast potatoes, bacon), bagels and pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cereal with milk. The hotel is located off Davis Hwy, very near I-10, shopping, West Florida Hospital, and the University of West Florida. We were in Pensacola to visit my daughter, who is a student at UWF, and it was very convenient. We have stayed at several hotels in the area when visiting our daughter, and this is the best hotel that I have found for families with children and pets. We just wish we would have found it sooner, as she is a senior and will be graduating this year. The hotel is also very close to Chuck-e-Cheese, which was a convenient place to take the littler kids when we had extra time to kill. The only thing I can think of that would improve this hotel would be for them to have a designated dog walk area with a garbage can and doggie poop bags. We had to use grocery bags that we had from the store(we could have brought our own bags from home, but didn’t think about it) and we had to walk all around to find an outside garbage can that we could use to dispose of the dog poop. But it was a great place for pets, nonetheless. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.
