Izzo Cutter & Company

The first time I went to Izzo Cutter I was introduced to Nicole (who now is at the Gulf Breeze location). I went in with a full head of drugstore dyed hair, which was nearly black, and left with awesome gray hair. Mind you it took a few trips with all the bleach, but it turned out awesome. The next time I went back (4 months later), I went for a rad Ruby Rose Mohawk/​pixie buzz (if you will) and was completely in love with it. To make a long review short, I am in love with Nicole and the way she’s been doing my hair for the past year. Unfortunately, I recently moved away and will forever miss her amazing talent! She listens to what you want and is willing to do just that, however, she knows her stuff so she will be completely honest with her thoughts. The salon is amazing and everyone is so nice. I especially love the receptionist and how she always remembered me. Lastly, they offer wine while you’re getting serviced, um hellloooo! Need I say more?

My third time getting my hair done here was awful! I left with roots still showing. My hair smelt like burnt rubber. My scalp was left burnt and my hair fell out in clumps. The manager Kristen did my hair when I told her it was falling out she didn’t bother responding. The receptionist told me that no one else could fix unless she approved! Worst hair experience of my entire life!!!

Probably one of the nicest places to get your new haircut in Pensacola. Very nice locations, polite and skillfull employees who knew what they were doing. You can even get coffee, beer or wine while you are waiting or while you are getting your new hair cut. Was really impressed and will definetly go back.

I just moved here from California and needed to find a good salon. I decided to give Izzo a try because I was told by my old stylist to look for a salon who sells Bumble and Bumble products because they are required to have more education and are current. They also have a special on their website for first time clients. I’m sure all the stylist are excellent but I chose Emily based off photo’s of her work I saw on facebook. She was AMAZING! I’m not very good at explaining what I want but I did my best and I’m so happy with the results. I highly recommend her.

I think it’s unfortunate that more people in Pensacola don’t use Unilocal.
Luckily it didn’t prevent me from discovering a great salon. I searched the Kerastase supplier directory (this salon is literally the only one in town that carries it). Ended up coming here twice. The first time was for a toner, at which point I met Nicole. The second time, two weeks later, I came in to see her for a cut. Each time she patiently listened as I tried to sound like I knew what I was talking about when I clearly didn’t; both times, we were able to reach a decision together that turned out wonderful results.
I’ll be back in June to visit family, and totally plan to make another appointment at Izzo Cutter & Company.

I’ve been seeing Lauren at Izzo for several years now. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Reviews here and elsewhere say it’s pricey. For Pensacola salons, it is. However, you’re not getting Pensacola quality. Lauren’s hair work would be right at home in any big city. She uses advanced techniques and stays up on her craft and industry trends by going to shows. Having lived in bigger cities before, I was not surprised by the price for a cut and color by one of the owners of the salon. As you would expect, the place is modern and hip, the shampoos are great, and the wine and beer is a nice touch. I am super critical of my hair, and I have never been dissatisfied with Lauren. Additionally, I get compliments on my hair all the time.

I’m in love with this salon. I had a girl I used to go to here and then she moved to the gulf breeze salon so I started going to the London w1 salon downtown. I really liked that place too but both hairdressers I had ended up quitting or leaving so I decided I was done with it and went back to Izzo.
My hairdresser is Emily and she’s really great. She does great blond color and always gets my cut just right. Which is a challenge since my hair is shorter and I’m growing it out.
I’ve tried other salons in P’cola (including Style downtown) and this is by far my favorite. Sure, it’s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for!

The locations that I was just in, today, is the one in Gulf Breeze– NOT HAPPY! i JUST WALKED IN, and asked for some information on what to do with my hair, prices, etc. The stylist that was available to talk with me, not very good with getting business in, really disappointed! I will not go back! she rushed me out of that chair… oh no… you cant imagine!!! so bad!
