Everman co-op is a mom and pop«whole foods» store. They offer the best selection of protein bars and assorted protein shakes/powder in the Pensacola area. They have the biggest selection for vegetarians and vegans alike, but meat eaters do not fret, they sell meat and dairy from local farmers. I always get their hot bar buffet when I visit which is a minimum of once a week. They have a garden on the premise and they are constantly picking the herbs and vegetables from it and using them in their dishes and for their cold bar. The hot bar is clearly marked meat, vegan, or vegetarian and they offer several types of food for each food type. My favorite is the Indian lentils, any of their bean selections and of course their cobbler(berry or peach). There is indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone is super courteous and friendly upon my arrival. They also offer classes(beauty, yoga, health) and if you are local, I’d recommend joining for $ 12 a year. It’s inexpensive and allows for future savings+ it helps this local business stay around! The price may be higher than other chains(example: east hill local honey can go for $ 20 here unlike $ 10-$ 12 elsewhere), but the products that no one else has… It’s worth the price. Location 5* Parking 5* — room for bicycles Food 5* Customer service 5* Price 4*

Great environmental friendly grocery store that seems similar to something like Whole Foods. They offer organic, gluten free, vegan, all natural products and items. Dragged the hubby here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this place. Nice location, ample parking space. The outside has a charging station for electronic vehicles and they have a small garden area. Before entering the store there was a chalkboard that listed all the classes offered at the community center which was adjacent to the store. The inside of the store had a nice layout and was clean and easy to navigate. Now keeping in mind that this is a healthy store the prices do reflect that. I needed to get some eggs and the prices ranged from $ 3.99 -$ 8 for a 12 count carton. I did find something I loved and had been searching for; the orange juice sold by starbucks named Evolve they had it here. The store have the option to bag and weigh certain items such as: spices, nuts, seeds, coffee, and etc. I did find an aisle that I loved and it smelled heavenly — it had natural oils and aromatherapy oils. The other popular thing offered was the café and delicious station. We went during breakfast time so they had breakfast selections on the hot bar. It was set up so you could serve yourself. The delivery station had sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, soups, tuna and chicken salads, and more. They had a large selection of desserts including cakes(whole and slices), large cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and muffins. I got a chocolate cake slice and it tastes soooo good, you gotta try it if you’re a chocolate fiend like me, the icing reminds me of a chocolate ganache I had on my wedding cake. The cake itself is moist. I like that it actually tastes like cake without being dry with that funny tasting icing that most stores offer. Checkout was easy and they give you the option for environmental friendly paper bags or plastic. They also had those huge jugs of water that ppl use island offices and at home now for sale. Overall, I like this store, can definitely see myself returning(probably not for monthly grocery shopping) but for certain items and I do want to try the café food one day.

Obviously, this is the store that the environment/health conscious people go to for groceries – expect the prices to reflect that. This place is located in a convenient location right off the road in downtown Pensacola. More importantly though, is that this place has a café where they serve made-to-order smoothies, a food bar where you pay-by-weight, and there is fast/free wifi! That last thing is very essential – I’ve spent more than a few days studying here at the well-lit, spacious area where there are power outlets to plug in something. To make this place sweeter, it’s open until 9PM everyday! You can easily get a long study session here since they have clean restrooms and food when you get hungry. Don’t let the college students know about this place or else it’ll start to get packed!

I almost cried tears of joy when I walked in! I moved to Pensacola from Atlanta and was really sad to not have a Whole Foods nearby. Evermans was recommended by a friend but I honestly wasn’t anticipating it to be much. I was very wrong! It’s amazing! It’s like a mini Whole Foods but maybe even better! The prices might be a bit higher than WF but I’m glad to pay it because this place is truly a local co-op. The food on the hot bar was absolutely delicious too!

Everman has nearly everything I want in one place, things I can’t find in an everyday grocery store, things I haven’t even seen since living in the Pacific North West: Two Moms brand items, a vast variety of organic/natural soups, organic/fair-trade chocolate, Beast burgers, some of the best hamburger rolls I have ever had(I don’t remember the brand, but I believe they are from a local bakery)…KOMBUCHABEER! The only other place I have seen kombucha beer is at the End of the Line Café, also in Pensacola. Why is this not a thing anywhere else? The staff is pleasant, and the store is well-organized, comfortable, and clean. It’s definitely pricey as a non-member(heck, probably still even as a member, but at least membership comes with benefits like yoga). Their annual membership dues are currently only $ 12, and if I lived in Pensacola, I’d become a member for sure. For now, I’ll just be content dropping hundreds of dollars here on our infrequent visits.

I stumbled upon this place during a brief stay in Pensacola. I wish I found it the day I arrived. Large selection on every product. There salad/hot food bar was excellent. There prices were reasonable as well. I had a vegan chocolate cake and it was amazing! Wish I had one of these at home. So convenient!

Being from California it was hard to find a fresh grocery store like this one. So when I found it on a whim I was super stoked! This place reminds me of my favorite grocery store called Sprouts. I found a lot of things from my old grocery store that j was happy to find here. The prices are reasonable and they have coupons at the entrance. The staff is friendly too. Always asking if need help finding anything. My only complaint is the café. The sandwiches are overpriced for what you get and the potato soup wasn’t very good… But if you’re just here the groceries, you’ll be very happy!!! :D

This grocery store is jam-packed with variety. I was just passing through and it had everything we needed and more, not to mention its exterior was beautiful and its interior was neatly organized. They have a huge amount of to-go items such as drinks, sandwiches, ready to bake pizzas, salad bar and hot food bar… and that’s just one side of the store. There’s even a dining area to sit and eat our food. As for the grocery part of the store, they have a large area with but and grain dispensers, baby food/baby items section, and a large produce area with pretty much anything you may be looking for. And they are affordable. Lastly, to top it off, the employees were very friendly and helpful. All around, I had a pleasant experience and though I’ve always been loyal to whole foods, I’d rather go here(if only we lived closer) and I would say this is the best local organic grocer I’ve been to and I’ve been to my fair share around the U.S.

Wow. thought this would be a good store by reviews… stood at deli counter while 2 people ignored me. One guy with a nasty shirt on and possibly full of dandruff. and a girl picking her nails over the cutting board.really.its as if nobody cares about their job or attire. it seems they are there for a check. not one employee said hey or can I help you. several didnt want to make eye contact. after I glanced at nasty hot food I decided to not buy what was in my buggy… I will not go in there again… very disappointed. …

Always a nice and welcoming atmosphere at Everman’s. You get some great quality products! I always go in for fresh juice, but I’m always impressed by what this place has in stock. If you’re looking for a great tea, healthier lunch, or fresh veggies make sure to stop here. Also, I hear they even serve a great breakfast!

Great selection of foods. I thought the prices were reasonable compared to Fresh Market. Wide selection of vegetarian and vegan foods for those who aren’t meat eaters. I love that there is a hot food bar and a place to eat. I also noticed that they offer Yoga classes in their education center on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I wish that they had more options as far as the pre-made salads and used different kinds of tortillas/wraps on their deli wraps. I wish we had discovered this place first as it is much closer to our hotel and more affordable.

They are spot on most of the time, about half the products you can buy cheaper elsewhere but you can get a lot of crucial stuff there you won’t find elsewhere, definitely the proverbial ‘wholefoods’ of Pensacola

Great Café and fresh produce. A little pricey for the average income but well worth it to save up to do some grocery shopping there. Has herbal supplements needed most stores do not carry

This is an excellent co-op! We travel all over the country, and organic food prices are comparable everywhere at stores like this. Produce is fresh, and refreshingly not all of it is from California. The hot/cold bar for lunch or dinner is wonderful! Best salad bar! Also, very friendly staff, that is a plus.

This is your typical large food co-op, with a good selection of produce, packaged, and bulk foods, but extra special because of its community center where they teach free and low-cost health, wellness, and yoga classes. I stocked up on groceries, got an amazing meal off the hot food bar, and took a relaxing evening yoga class. Perfect!

One coupon Per visit. This wouldn’t be a problem if it was per a particular item(in other words no double coupons). But you can only use one of their coupons… period! I love co-ops, and ADORE organic! But dang! I feel like the best way to turn people away from healthy choices is to over charge, and, not honor discounts. That being said I give a second star for its selection which is quite large. I just hope they change this policy as I think it hinders their potential.

So happy to find a pressed juice bar in Pensacola! Tasty and quite reasonably priced. As you enter it is to your right and they have quite a few options, 2 sizes and will add what you want… yum! I found the prices cooperative to a Whole Foods or Fresh Market and was greatly pleased to be buying from locally owned location while I was in Pensacola.

I have fallen in love with this place. They have a good gluten free selection fresh and frozen items to shop for but my favorite part is the deli where they carry gluten free chicken adobo and they make yummy smoothies as well. Since I commute a long way from this store, they’re always sweet and give me a bag of ice to make sure my goodies stay fresh for the drive back to Fort Walton Beach. Right now they’re expanding so I can’t wait to see their new look once they’re done. This place is also the first Co-Op I’ve ever shopped at, where it’s a store front and not just a few bins of fruits and veggies that you pay a certain price for. Good stuff!
