When we moved from Pensacola’s west side to the east side, one of the things we congratulated ourselves on was that we would be closer to Bailey’s. We go there at least once a week all year round, more often in the summer when the Chilton County peaches and local tomatoes abound. If you are into canning, ask about their«canning tomatoes» — the ones that may not be Miss Tomato beautiful but are still perfectly good. They also have the best and freshest Christmas trees, which they will trim and net up for easy loading. We’ve bought two from them and both looked almost as crisp and green the day we put them out for trash pickup as they did when we brought them home the Monday after Thanksgiving.

..so I decided to torture myself for my New Years Resoulution and I concluded that juicing veggies would suffice in inflicting severe pain in my palate and render me helpless to give out any 1 star Unilocal reviews for the next few weeks(Thanks Joe Cross) Juice Cleanse, Rebooting my bod, whatever you wanna call it… This farmers market used to be on Fairfield I think, because I remember the Big Green Jolly Giant Dude when I was little girl many many many many moons ago. anywho, if you want GOOD prices and a nice selection of Vegs and Fruit, check this place out. Their produce comes from local farmers and I love supporting the local farmers plus I think they use less pesticides(hopefully) than the grocery chain stores. Very helpful and friendly staff and I probably will be buying my produce from here on out because Walmart sucks in general and Winn Dixie and Publix can tend to be a tad bit pricey if ya dont catch the sales… Good spot!

Good selection of in season produce, I notice many items are somewhat local, which pleases me. Staff is really friendly and helpful and are always willing to answer questions about the produce. I would give 5 stars but the one room off to the side is always a little funky, I don’t know what goes on in there, it looks like something out of a creepy movie and the restrooms are kinda funky too. So if you don’t need a bio break– you’ll probably find the place pretty pleasant ;), I think cleanliness is important.
