The pastelitos from vickys are amazing! A colleague of mine bring them in to the office once in awhile and they are always such a treat! I’ve had the guava one, the cheese one, the beef one, the coconut one, and my favorite, the guava and cheese one. They’re always freshly baked and they’re great to go as well.

The Cuban coffee here is subpar. It tastes burnt and old. I will not come here for Cuban Coffee again. As far as the croquettes, I know for sure they are not made fresh. They are frozen and fried on site. If you have ever tried the croquettes from Versailles or from Isla Canarias you will know what I mean when it comes to freshness. I’ve been to other Vicky bakeries that have been on point like the one in Miami Gardens by Carrabas but Pines doesn’t have it. It’s a shame.

Love this place makes me feel right at home! Was raised in Miami eating cuban pastries so I feel right at home in this bakery. Great pastelitos! One thing I would say is they need a bit better service especially during the holidays.

This is one of those Saturday morning stops for my Café con leche. The ladies are really nice. They have great empanadas and Latin treats. It’s a full bakery so you can order cakes, cookies and any sweet treats that you would like. They are very popular here on South Florida. I give them a 4 star– quality is great and so far my food has been really good!

Finally a Vicky bakery in broward! I’ve placed catering orders several times and am never disappointed, everything taste fresh and is delicious. Expect to wait long lines when running to order a café con leche but take it as a good sign. Staff is super friendly and they speak English. Best pastelitos in town.

My new favorite Cuban bakery when I visit Pines for sure! I been a few times before and was not impressed with their service, but they have definitely stepped up their game since then. I came in yesterday, thankfully, when they were not busy for once, and was pretty satisfied. Their pizza pastel was probably one of the best I ever tried in all of South Fla. The crust was perfectly glazed and it was super savory. They are also a lot cheaper than other bakeries in this area I’ve noticed. Solid Cuban pastelitos and coffee.

Vicky bakery, My absolute favorite bakery in the world. With the best pastries/sandwhiches in the world. Every time i come from Chicago, i make sure to take a catering package home to my family that didn’t get to come with. You can never go wrong with a sandwhich de queso y hamon & a materva to pair it with. The pastelitos are so fresh everytime, and the cappuchinos are never stale. Love you Vicky… whomever you might be ;)

This place is family owned and has pretty good service. The only compliant I have is that their pastries could use more filling! Hit us up on that guava. I love their coffee though, it’s really good!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We ordered a señorita and a merenguito. I’ve been to different locations but this one has such a nice atmosphere and smiling faces to great you. I will be coming back to this location when craving some delicious pastries.

Really yummy Cuban bakery, with cookies, cakes and pastries. They also make a great Cuban coffee with milk and evaporeted milk, to add richness. Coffee is super hot when served, so be careful. The guava cheese pastries are my favorite.

Warning, review is in Spanglish After all my check-ins I finally have a minute to put down my ham croquetta and write a review. This is by far my favorite Vicky Bakery location. I have been to a few others around Miami, and this one is the best in my opinion! I come almost every Saturday morning for my weekend treat before class at the BC Pines Center(Yep just weekend because if I eat this every day, I will be rolling to school). I indulge in a deliciously prepared café con leche, tostada and 2(sometimes 4 lol…) croquetas de jamon. Deliciouso! Their café con leche is unique because they use a little bit of evaporated milk. This is the authenticity that Starbucks could never compete with. The croquetas are perfect for me because they have a bit of potato in them. Why not add more starch to your croqueta? The filling of the croqueta could be a bit gooey for most, but to me it’s just right. You can also see the bits of ground ham in every bite. I have also enjoyed their pastelitos and prefer the Guava and Guvava and Cheese flavors. They are very good, though I must admit I have had better pasteles in Hialeah. I’ll see you on Saturday Vicky!

Like Ernesto mentioned, I too have had a long standing relationship with Vicky but we hadn’t touched bases in quite a while and rekindled that relationship today. The best guava pastelitos ever are found at Vicky’s! I venture to say every location is just as legitimate and can stake the claim. I ordered a guava and cheese along with just a guava. I had a preference for the guava one over the other, but both were excellent! Perfect crunch, tons of guava and warm… nice and waaaaaarm. Service surprisingly was also very good considering how busy they were. People might say its Hialeah looking and that it lacks décor, but for me its a stop and go so none of that matters to me. I paid $ 1.90 for two pastries and called it a day. Thank you Vicky for moving closer to me and renewing our friendship contract!!! I’ll be seeing you very soon!

So this bakery has been at this location for about a year and a half. The deco is modern looking which is a nice change compared to other Vicky bakeries. It’s in a good spot if you want to grab a pastelito or two before hitting up the movie theater. It beats paying $ 15+ at the concession stand. Friendly staff, speaks English/Spanish. I tried their pastelito de carne(beef pastry) and pastelito de queso(cheese pastry). The beef was good but not the greatest. Hands down, the cheese wins. The best pastelito de queso that I’ve tried so far.

Good bakery with really friendly staff. They have a great selection of pastries and baked goods. I had the beef pastry and the chicken croquettes. The beef one was good but I didn’t like the chicken croquettes. My wife had the cheese pastry which was the best of the three.

I’m sure this kind of places will eventually close but it is only because of how cheap they are people still come here and I feel obligated to review it. Terrible food, dirty floors, ugly décor, the place needs love. The only reason I ended up trying this was because I was waiting for a gelato store to open. The guava and cheese pastelito was ok to keep me going but I ordered the meat pastelito and could not eat it, it was a mixture of hamburger meat with something that made it look like pudding. Nasty

El mejor brazo gitano que he comido y lo mismo pienso de su pasta de bocaditos. Una pasta sin grasa. El hojaldre de sus pasteles es incomparable.

Check out my tips as well(5) stars on the sweets about 2.5 on the food… Cuban Bread is good only in the am or very early afternoon! The catering or pre-made foods are really blah the ham croquettes are similar to eating play dough… They also have plenty if premade little pimento and cheese spread on little Hawaiian rolls and they are soso…

Vicky and I have known each other for about 15 years! Yes ever since I was a child growing up in the wonderful cities of Hialeah and Miami Lakes Vicky Bakery has always been around. Thank god they’ve expanded to Broward and hopefully keep growing. The food consist of Cuban pastries. My favorites include: croquetas, guava pastelitos, meat pastelitos, cheese pastelitos etc! I could go on forever! Lastly, you can not leave without una colado(Cuban espresso)!!!

My family and I have ordered from this bakery several times. We have never received stellar service and/or cakes, but we used them because they were close. This time they crossed the line. We ordered a fondant cake a week and a half before my daughter’s christening. I get a call asking me when I would like to go by and pick up the cake. I said 4:30pm — 5:00pm and they said fine, Because they had to deliver the cake from another location. Just FYI they don’t do fondant cakes in house. I get there around 4:20 and they tell me that the they don’t know what my order is. Later they figure out that the cake hasn’t arrived. I pick up the other appetizers and snacks that were on my order. They tell me to leave them the address and the time that they need it by and the driver will deliver it to my house. I agreed and was quite happy about it. Mind you, I live(clocked) 2 minutes and 43 seconds away in car from Vicky Bakery. They told me when I was there that the cake was going to be later than 4:30 because of traffic. I told them that I needed the cake at 5 at the latest. They said sure, no problem. At 5 I call the bakery and it’s like no one knew who I was from a half hour earlier. Once someone that knew picked up the phone they told me that they spoke to the driver and he was on his way. At 5:30 I call again and this time it takes me SIX calls to reach someone. No one could tell me where the driver is with my cake. At this point I am furious. Finally at 6:20!!! After my event had already started the cake arrived. I called the bakery asking them to make it right because not only was the cake wrong but the colors were off too!!! The cake was dry and the taste wasn’t the greatest. Stick to the buttercream stuff. No one was able to make it right because no manager was on duty. They took my number and never called me back. The 3 times I called after they told me the same thing. I don’t have time out of my day to go and hunt someone down to make it right. It’s been 2 weeks since then and now I wanted to write this with a cooler head. If you don’t think this is tame, you should have seen my last 2 drafts. Don’t go to Vicky’s Bakery. They have very poor customer service that lacks quality. They have no respect for their customers by bringing orders almost 2 hours late. They made the excuse about traffic. How bad can traffic be to be 2 ½ hours late on a Sunday afternoon? I can get from Pembroke Pines to Naples in that time frame. There is no excuse for this.

A Cuban bakery where the staff actually speaks English?! I’m a fan already! Yes, this bakery is fairly new to the Westfork plaza, but I really hope it does well and lasts. The pastelitos are great, not greasy or overly sweet and the Cuban coffee, yummy! We come here constantly and hope that the word gets around soon about this place. Staff is great and so is the food. Oh, and I can’t forget that everything I’ve tried so far has been fresh, not stale, as in other bakeries.
