Low marks for customer service. Expect unmitigated attitude upon arrival as if they’re doing you a favor by tolerating your presence. In dire need of a «customer first» attitude adjustment. There’s no way anyone should pay money to be treated like these people treat customers.

Now called N2fitness, this gym has classes such as kick boxing, zumba, and spinning. I was told that the cardio and other equipment would be getting upgraded(its old) and have not seen that fulfilled(been 8 months). The fact that its a smaller gym shouldn’t hold them back.

Metamorphecise is a gym/wellness complex located at the Grand Palms Resort, which is just west of I-75 on Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines. This is a nice facility with all the amenities, including a wide array of weight machines, tennis courts, and cardio equipment(ellipticals, stationary bikes, running machines, Stairmasters, and cross trainers). In addition, they also have a full service spa and hair salon, along with an area where you can have a manicure/pedicure. They also have locker rooms with a sauna/steamroom. My one critique of this establishment is that some of the exercise equipment looks a bit worn and on occasion, you might find that one of the running machines or cross trainers might not be working. That makes it harder to find a machine during peak hours. I suggest that management invest some money on upgrading some of their equipment. Also they don’t have as many cardio machines as some of the other national brands like Gold’s, Planet Fitness etc. It’s definitely a smaller gym, but it does have a wide array of weight training equipment, including a good variety of freeweights and machines. The service experience here is what really sets them apart from the big guys. The owners(Matt and Lisa) go out of their way to provide a good customer experience. The spa and hair-salon all have top notch personnel with relatively affordable services done well. I in particular recommend either Julie or Sarah for massages at the spa – from my experience, they are the best there. The membership prices are slightly lower than some of the other gyms in the area, but you get a bit more value out of your money, being that you get discounts for the spa services when you’re a member of the gym. Being that I enjoy getting a good massage after a hard workout, that’s quite a good deal.
