Jason’s Deli

Jason’s deli is a great option if you are looking for an alternative to Sweet Tomatoes. This restaurant has an extensive menu and has both vegetarian and vegan options. It’s a no frills cafeteria type set up with mini muffins and soft serve thrown in for free. I felt the food quality was good but it wouldn’t swing me from trying other options near this location (such as Lime) The value is very good for what you get and the salad bar has quite a few options on it. The food looks fresh and it’s kept pretty clean. You really can’t go wrong here and it beats other fast food places especially burger joints.

Best fast food place to grab lunch at Pembroke Gardens. Prices are very reasonable for the portions of food served. I ordered the half turkey sandwich and half quinoa shrimp salad. Turkey was served with avocado, lettuce, tomatoes with dijon mustard on an onion bun sandwich. Quinoa shrimp salad was good and fresh. You also have the option of a salad bar. Oh and you get free ice cream! Staff very helpful. Kudos to the Mgr. Recommend it!

The food here is simply amazing! Fresh ingredients, lots of variety, casual atmosphere… and of yeah the ice cream is free!!!

This place has a cafeteria-​like setting, which I don’t mind but the quality did not impress me at all. Service was quick but that is it really. My food was something I could’ve pulled out of a bag and microwaved. To add, my food came out cold, wasn’t even worth asking them to heat it up.

Quick review — Large place in a very popular outdoor mall on Pembroke rd & I 75 — located in rear of property south west side — Corn Beef Ruben good & onion soup, salad bar large well stocked, soft serve ice cream included. Order sit down & brought to your table — cost value good

Food is okay but their outrageous delivery fee’s are way-​way too high!!! Management should consider lowering it and save elsewhere by demanding five stars for One FREE cookie! I would just rather pay for the cookie and be upfront in writing a more truthful and accurate review.

if you’re looking for something light and yummy this is the place to go. I love having soup and salad and/​or sandwiches for lunch so I decided to give this place a shot. me and my bf ordered broccoli and cheese soup (delicious!!) the papa joe, which brings turkey pesto and tomato basil on a focaccia bread, yum! the turkey muffuletta, which in my opinion I didn’t like but that’s cus I’m utterly disgusted by olives lol but if you like olives that would be the sandwich for you! and we ordered 2 side salads from their cool salad bar and that to me is the best idea yet! they have specials upon specials for those of you, like me, who like having a little of each. i can’t wait to come back and try another yummy sandwich. and again, if you love broccoli and cheese soup that soup was so good! I’d recommend you’d try it. oh and how could I forget the FREE ice cream at the end. yes I said FREE haha. check this place out soooo many varieties.

Absolutely fantastic. Great value! The food is so fresh and the place is so clean. Great staff too very friendly and courteous. One of my most favorite places to eat.

A few friends and I met up here for lunch, since I haven’t been here in awhile, I figured it would be a good idea. Sadly, my friends were confused by the ordering system, but other than that, I liked what I ordered. Spinach Veggie Wrap with fruits on the side, but the strawberries were close to going bad. I should’ve mentioned something to the manager, be careful with your fruits and veggies!

First time coming here. picked up a salad for dinner today. Service was slow as only one person at the register. Even though the person in front of me was undecided on what they wanted to get, the cashier spent a good amount of time catering to them, which is a good thing.. except when you have customers waiting. The manager and another employee were sitting on the bench chatting, not sure if they were on a break. Finally when the person in front of me was done the cashier decided to walk off instead of taking my order… even though the person preparing the food was ready to make the order. Finally the person who I thought was the manager decided to ask me if I needed help. Nope. .just standing here for the fun of it, of course I bloody need help.
Anyway the young man preparing the salad was actually fast, efficient, and friendly. The salad was fresh, which is a big plus as I find some places you go they give you wilted lettuce, wet and mushy (Corner Bakery Café — see review on them). I got the chicken club salad… the large. Oh boy! Should have gotten the small, it was really filling (I ate it all). Delish! I didn’t get any dressing as I used my own (took it home). That’s another thing when you get food to go. You get home and it is wrong or nasty, and you don’t feel like going back to return it or exchange it once you’ve left (again​.my experience with Bahama Breeze & Corner Bakery Café).
I would definitely go back and try the smaller sized salad (which would fit better into my eating plan… over did it with the large) and maybe half a wrap or sandwich. Let’s see how the next visit holds up.

This place is ok, very average. The French onion soup was horrid though, it tastes like soy sauce, in fact I’m almost completely convinced that they just served me a cup of soy sauce with cheese melted on top. The free ice cream is a plus and there’s a huge dining area, but our order did take a while for 2 sandwiches and 2 soups, considering we were 1 of 3 tables waiting. The Reuben I had was average, I felt it was kind of stingy for the meat, it was a very flat sandwich (not very full of anything). If your son just got second place for a soccer tournament or you got second best for sales this month at your job, grab your party hat and head over to this place to celebrate.

I was very pleased with this place! I stopped by for a late lunch and it seemed alright. The line and order process was a bit overwhelming since the only menu is on the wall and its hard to see until you’re at the register but anyways, the sandwiches are amazing! My boyfriend and I were so satisfied! And they have a salad bar, free self serve ice cream and delicious mini cornbread! I love this place for lunch.

I frequently go to Jason’s Deli in Pembroke Gardens, unfortunately it has declined in the last year. I actually went tonight & again was very disappointed. They almost never have enough plates or silverware. I asked for a few spoons & the employee gave me an attitude. I ended up eating my ice cream with a forI. I never see a manager that I could actually speak to, only young employees that don’t seem to know or even care enough.

Really sad to write this. This use to be one of my very favorite restaurants. The last two times I’ve gone my French onion soup was waaaaay saltier than usual and my veggie wrap was 90% spinach, 7 mushrooms and a tiny bit of cheese and flavorless because of the entire pack of spinach they seemed to put on it :(very bummed

Free ice cream, that’s all I have to say but I won’t. Went for a bite maybe half an hour before they close I was expecting attitude and bad food but I got a great customer experience. The staff was funny and very helpful, I didn’t know what to get and they made a great suggestion. The salad bar look good, and everything was clean. They never rushed us to get out, love this place.

Deelish. Swift service good fresh food. I am not familiar with this chain — and as a native NYer– I’m kinda snooty when it comes to deli.
Jason is ok by me. Decent sandwiches — not of the ginormous variety, though. Well maintained salad/​fixings bar and all the deli treats. It’s no Katz deli or even Toojays, but it is one of the best places to grab a bite during a shopping romp at Pembroke Gardens.

Had a great lunch and dinner there with my mom while shopping in the mall. They have lots of options, all with fresh ingredients. They have great salads and vegan options which is key.
The service is both informal and yet warm which provides a nice balance. The service and food marry quite well together and there is ample seating in a large setting to say the least. We will definitely be back to be sure.

They are so fast! and everything is fresh and made to order.
the «salad bar» is expensive for what it is but whatever, nobody ever gets it anyways. they got free icecream and they are very clean. the prices are resonable and there is usually parking near by. you dont need to order before for the takeout, for sure you wont wait for more than 5min for your lunch.

I enjoy coming here often and enjoying a chili and the salad bar. This is a great value of a meal for under $ 10. The salad bar has plenty of items so if you are on a diet, this is a good alternative if you can’t eat at home. Free soft serve ice cream is also delicious.
