Ramada Pelham

This hotel was good for the price.
Someone complained about the guy at the front desk being rude. That couldn’t be further from the truth. He gave me silver wear after breakfast hours, sold me a postage stamp from his own personal stash, and explained how to use the coffee pot. All of the staff was extremely friendly.
I only stayed 3 nights. The breakfast on the first day had biscuits and gravy, the other two days they had waffles. Everyday they offered donuts, muffins, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, etc.
The hotel is only 2 miles from Oak Mt State Park and 4 miles from the South Trailhead. It’s located right off the interstate and near a lot of restaurants.

I called from the road to see if rooms were available and Mr Patel (owner) held a room for me. They gave me the coupon rate and a discount for local steakhouse also. I will be staying here again on future trips. Very good service and a very nice room and good nights sleep.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We are being relocated to Alabama and we were in town house hunting. The people were wonderful. The room was very comfortable. I think this was probably one of the best Ramada’s I have ever stayed in. The location to all the restaurants was unbelievable! Five Stars for a budget conscience traveler.
