Best Western

My family stayed here overnight while traveling south. It was a very nice, CLEAN hotel in the budget ($ 89) range hotels. The room was equipped with a microwave and college size fridge. The free breakfast was good with ham, gravy biscuits, cereal and Danish. I would definitely stay here again! This is a 2 star hotel that I would give 4 stars to for what it offered and how nice it was.

This hotel manager thinks it’s ok to inflate room rates 300+% on nights when a major concert is down the street at the amphitheater. I’m not going to said concert, just need a room. Would not take my calls to discuss, would only speak to me through desk clerk. Shame on you, sir.
Why is it against the law to gouge prices to take advantage of situations in other areas but not hotel rooms? Greedy. The corporate complaints do no good, call best western and they throw it onto «it’s independently owned, sorry»
Done with this company, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a problem with this chain. People should know. This feels durty, slimy and wrong.
Holiday inn, while full, did NOT increase rates this night.

Very nice place to stay! Nice room, friendly staff. We’ll stay there again next time I come to Birmingham.
