Great Clips

I really like this place because it’s so conveniently located. It is probably a 5 minuted drive down the street from me. The online check-​in App is great… and really cuts the wait time in half, if not more.
I’ve been coming to this location for about 2 years now, and come in for a cut maybe every 2 ½ to 3 weeks. They def. make you feel at home because they greet you right when you walk in the doors. They def. know me by now and it’s easy to feel comfortable. I do have my go-​to stylist. They are all very personable and strike up pretty interesting conversations.
Only a couple times I have felt a little unimpressed/​unsatisfied with the work done. On one occasion they gave me a taper, but totally forgot to do the other side! I didn’t bring it up at that moment because I did not notice it right away. Thankfully I knew how to fix the situation myself with my own clippers back at home. On one of my more recent visits, the stylist adamantly thought she knew what I should do with my hair, even though it was not what I was asking for. I ultimately got my way and she cut it how I wanted it but it was just shocking that she kept trying to cut it her way.
With that being said, I now ask for particular stylist to cut my hair. That easily remedies those situations from happening in the future. I’m due for a cut at the end of this week and let’s see how it goes.

Hadn’t been there in years (since the stylist I liked left), decided to go back and try my luck with it being under new management. My hair was short but wasn’t quite how I hoped for (having it cut about a 2 wks prior to this visit). The wait wasn’t long at all, I was actually #8 on the list so about 10 min later I’m in the chair. Michelle listened to what I wanted, then did exactly what I hoped the outcome would be. I was so happy (finally). The other stylists there all seem friendly & I enjoyed chatting with them. The establishment is very well kept & clean & they now have an app that you can check yourself in and cut the wait time. As long as Michelle will be there I’ll definitely be back. thank you Michelle

Horrible. Had a bad experience the first time and returned (shouldn’t have) hoping it will be better. Majority of the workers are rude and are not genuine on their «welcome to great clips» or their thank u s. I will definitely not be returning nor my husband.

Very good salon. I can walk in here and get the perfect haircut for a reasonable price. This is a great place if you want to get your hair styled for not that much money. The stylists are helpful, and they listen. Remember to check in online to avoid wait times!

This was my first time at this particular great clips.
I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon around 4, the wait was about 15 minutes.
I showed the hairdresser a picture of the haircut I wanted, she wavered back and forth on what type of clippers to use. She did not seem confident in her estimation of the length of hair a particular clipper would cut.
After she was done, the hairline was not uniformly even and I asked her to repeat the process. When it was all done, I found out later that the back of my hair was also not cut evenly.
For $ 13 haircuts, I will not return to this location. There are places closer in Houston that will cut your hair for $ 5 and do a better job.

Great place for boys haircuts!
I use their app to sign in and hold my queue before heading up to the salon. Really makes it efficient to take care of their hair between obligations.
Their hours are convenient and promotions are a great deal. All with a great haircut by a friendly barber!
