Their bbq chicken was horrible and the owner or some middle aged blonde lady was very rude to me and my friends. I don’t think I would come back to a restaurant where I don’t feel welcomed.

one of the best pints of Guinness in the tri state area due to the fact the keg is directly under the tap in a small cooler. menu leaves a little to be desired, it is hit and miss, they have a few standout items i.e. their chicken and beef kebab appetizers. the staff and owners are a very friendly bunch, it’s a pity their bar isn’t bigger it only has 8 or 9 stools. nice outdoor seating in the summer though

Big fan! regardless of other reviews i think the staff is very welcoming. very cozy atmosphere, you cant really mess up a drink so of course that was good. mostly i like the place because it has a home-y feeling to it. im from PR and its my first spot when it comes to getting a burger and a beer

Often not open in the morning(they are supposed to be as part of being located in a train station). Regulars are refugees from the Isle of Misfit Toys.

I Love Pearl River and the multitude of bars to choose from, and this might be my last choice. Not for the drinks, they weren’t bad… but the food! Bland, poorly presented, weak portions, poorly cooked — can you tell I didn’t like it? Just because you serve your chicken with tomatoes, peppers and onions doesn’t make it Tex-Mex. Wish I had brought my cumin and ancho chili powder to this place!

Place looks better from the street than from inside. dingy, crowded and stand-offish staff. Food was decent. Outside, its the train station, it should be cool… For a beer, I’d keep walking over to defiant brewery on the other side of the tracks.

Love Southbound!!! I have been going here for about 2 years now. It is right where metro north drops you off in Pearl River, so you can go have a nice happy hour as soon as you step off the train onto the platform! Hospitality is great and there is live music on the weekends. The bands are always good too. I have eaten dinner there too and have really, really enjoyed everything I have eaten. Great atmosphere!!!

Located right at the Pearl River train station, this cozy place is perfect for after-work ribs, tequila shrimp, and delicious margaritas. Morning bagels with coffee are the perfect hangover cure. A good place to bookend your work day.
