Chili’s

Let me start with the fact that I usually don’t have a good experience at this location BUT the server this time really made my experience turn around 360 degrees… Michaelyn (Server name on my receipt) was my server and she is what every restaurant needs. She understands what sense of urgency is. She had a huge party and several tables and some how she made time and attention to everyone equally — she refilled drinks without asking. She also was telling the other employees to move quicker so she can get to the kitchen… Very impressive…

Ate here yesterday for a late lunch with some friends and was disappointed. We were seated quickly, and food was served quickly, but service was horrible. Took 20 minutes for our waiter to come back with drinks and same with the check. A bunch of the waiters were hanging out with their friends who were dining in (or something like that?) which preoccupied all of them and made it impossible for my group and I to pay and leave. Very disappointed in the rude behavior of the service because we’ve been here before and this hadn’t happened.

I’m giving it two stars because the waiter was friendly and professional. The food was also delicious. The rest of the experience was not so great. The booth I sat in was dirty, the table was sticky (had to go in the bathroom to wash my hands and then wash the table on my own). The ladies room smelled so bad and it was filthy. I understand it was around 9:30 pm and obviously it gets dirty, but I feel that someone should go in there once in awhile throughout the night to maintain it (other places do that). The worst part is that the kitchen is in clear eye view once you exit the restrooms. There was food all over the floor and I saw someone cooking without gloves. I just feel that the place would get better ratings if it was cleaner.

Ate here last night with my girlfriend. Its an a-​ok place if you want a cheap meal and ok service. The service is a bit slow but luckily they have table side computers now where you can pay. No more waiting 20 minutes for the check.
We ordered from the 2 for $ 20 menu which came with an appetizer and 2 dinners. The food was filing and we had enough to take home for lunch the next day. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta which was ok. There wasnt much sauce at all. It was actually a pretty dry dish for stating it came with alfredo sauce. I would strongly recommend ordering extra sauce with your meal. But its a big chain restaurant focused on cost and not quality so you can’t expect much.

If I could give zero or negative I would. I just started using Unilocal,but I went last May for Memorial Day weekend and had severe food poisoning within 3 hours of eating here. I had a chicken quesadilla salad, chop and salsa and a soda. The chicken was pink so I sent it back. A new one came out and appeared fine, tasted like a kinda odd seasoning but ate it. Started getting stomach pains shooting after dinner while out at a movie. Within three hours as soon as we got home I was not only throwing up but also having severe stomach problems the other way too. The next morning I was still sick and called the dr. Kept drinking water and throwing up. Dr ruled it food poisoning and I wasn’t better until the Tuesday after and this happened on a Friday. Awful! Later that summer I went to the chillies in butler nj, stayed away from chicken and had a burger. Had stomach problems after that too but nothing as severe. I stay away from all chillis chains now.

The wait staff was great and the place was clean. I ordered the 3-​appetizer place for my meal, the boneless Buffalo chicken was cold and tasted like it was frozen for awhile, the chicken crisper a were not crispy at all and were room temperature the new onion rings were over cooked and room temperature. My son enjoyed his burger but the side of fries were more for a child’s meal than for an adult order. I love the new electronic machine at the tables to pay when you are ready, but patents beware of the charges for the games on the device.

I have always had a great time here but I guess today was a fluke. The waitress was horrible. And not only was she slow, but the Extras for the fajitas were old and dry. I had to send it back for fresh sour cream. The food watered down. It was nasty and they charged my 14 dollars for one drink. That’s crazy. I didn’t argue because the waitress was not around instead they had an electronic Machine at the table. Horrible

My recent visit at Chili’s Nanuet was not a good experience.
We selected the 2 entrees for $ 20 and both our food were tasteless. The chicken quesadillas were very dry and the other meal we ordered was seafood with rice.
The rice tasted like hospital food and there weren’t any seasoning in the seafood.
Please go to the Chili’s at Palisades Mall and do not order from the 2 for 20 menu.

Today we were dissapointed in our meal at this chili’s. We ordered nachos and got 5 chips total for $ 6. We mostly ordered burgers. My daughter’s was well done when ordered medium. They had put cheese one one specifically ordered without.

In the past year we have been to this location numerous times with our toddler. It’s a typical chain restaurant, but the menu is diverse and the prices are great. My husband usually order off of the two for $ 20 deal. Unfortunately, service and quality have gone down so much we will never return to this location again. The restaurant recently had a makeover. It initially looked great, but the place hasnt been maintained. The tables and booster seats are sticky and the walls have food all over them. Last week my husband said it was like someone ate a whole plate of ribs right off his menu — it was so gross and the pages were stuck together. The wait staff also seems inattentive. The kicker really isnt the restaurants fault, but we get a good laugh from it. Two girls sitting behind us. It looks like they had a few drinks. Luckily I missed it, but according to my husband one of the girls projectile vomited across the table. It appeared that the staff did a half assed job of cleaning up before seating a family at the same booth. Yuck. We will not be back.

It’s a Chilis, which is to say it’s not very good. However, this is a pretty good place to watch sports at the bar. They have a bunch of TVs and it’s 2 for 1 drinks all day every day. Can’t beat that.

Decent, for a Chili’s

A year ago or so, this place did have some weird sh! t going on. I liked getting the burgers, and there was a time or 2 when the burger looked like it just came from a hurricane. Fast forward to today and luckily this place has improved a lot. I still get the burgers and they have been great. I almost always get the buffalo wings which are amazing.
It is a good thing they improved, because imo it would have suffered the same fate as the aweful Bennigans that used to be in New City, NY.
Yes I highly recommend this place, at least for take out which is what I usually do.

The food is always great. Service is always friendly and out of the two Chilis in the area this is far better. I also think they have a larger menu.

We often take a ride over to Chili’s when we want something a little different. I love their Country Fried Steak, even if I have to spend the next day walking off the calories! Their fajitas are great, and my daughter convinced me to try one of their margheritas, which I really enjoyed (I’m a dacquiri lover.) I always have a problem deciding among these two dishes and the quesadillas or the chicken dishes. We usually go just before the dinner rush and have no problem with service, noise or food. So, even though I can’t believe I’m recommending a chain restaurant, I really am! Hmmm. I’m getting an urge to ride over tomorrow after the big snowstorm we’ve been promised!

Horrible place– rude staff and especially at the bar. They are just plain robots with no customer service skills and dont treat you like anything else but a credit card.
The food gets worse and worse and while its always crowded with drunken business people and construction workers dont be fooled– Its only because the lure of the place is too great for them to resist and they dont know any better.
Stupid business chicks and barely above high school looking groups of kids getting their «drink on» seem to only be there for the tropical looking drinks and not caring about anything else.
Way overpriced foods and way-​way out of line drinks that you never see the prices on and when you ask its a look of — so you want that?
Nothing to look at below basic waitresses and bartenders make the scene even less fun and appetizing.
Looks bad enough the service makes it a pure «no thanks»!
There always seems to be a stale type of smell around the bar area almost like a mildew or unclean smell.
Forget a buy back-​they do not exist here and you can get them elsewhere.

This place is going through a serious change, not sure why, but your best bet is to stay away for a few months. I’m still in shock as to what my friends and I were put through.
Most of the issues were staffing related, my food, and one of my friends, were okay. The third, not so much. ²⁄₃ isn’t bad, but coupled with difficult service issues, you’re better off waiting to see how things turn out.

I’m giving a chain restaurant five stars??? Oh dear! But this place deserves it. I’ve been here a few times and never had a bad experience. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated if I needed to wait at all (you just gotta make sure you get there just before the peak times).
I’m stuffed after every meal. From sandwiches to larger meals, the food is prepared properly and in good portions. I was especially fond with the way my broccoli was made in my last dish, Monterey Chicken. Great service too, it doesn’t hurt that you see the same people working there when you go. That’s a good sign. Even though this is just down the road from the Palisades Mall and Downtown Nyack, this place is worth taking the extra miles on 52 for.
