Nick’s Pizza, Roast Beef and Subs

I called for a delivery order and I was RUDELY told that they don’t deliver by a young man with a slight accent who answered the phone.
They should change their status to NO DELIVERY on Unilocal.And they should treat people who call, thinking that they do deliver because Unilocal says they do, like human beings.
Try… «Sorry, we don’t deliver but I would still be happy to take your order if you wish to come here». Just a thought, maybe I am too old fashioned for today’s accepted behaviors.
Service business should not be RUDE!

So, I’m feeling a little depressed because my once-​reliable Nick’s suddenly morphed into a stranger that I don’t even recognize. The OLD Nick’s had the tastiest, cheesiest pizza with a sauce that was just sweet enough. And their kabob salad was second to none. Tonight, we ordered and what we received didn’t even resemble the «old faith» pizza place I’ve grown to love. I’m not sure if they have new owners, but everything about our dinner was different-​the sauce, dough, salad dressing, etc. Blech! It was a greasy disc of pizza sadness. Time to explore other neighborhood spots, I suppose. Old Nick’s, R.I.P.

I had to add Nick’s since they’re a «given» restaurant for any type of group pizza order at my workplace. I love this restaurant; the people who work there are great and while they’re constantly busy they’ve never made a mistake on any of my orders, they’re friendly and willingly go out of their way to help you.
Their pizza is traditional Greek style, and they have won some sort of local award for it; it’s my favorite for the area. However, my real needed «fix» to go here is their gyros and chicken kebab salads. All three mouthwatering, and a more than welcome pick-​me-​up in the middle of a long workday. They’ve also delivered multiple pizzas for my whole department, and they’re still hot upon arrival.
Nick’s is equipped for large orders and if you call ahead you can just pick it up when you walk in. They also deliver for orders 8 $ or more.
