Sadly, I was unable to try the food at Mr G’s because after waiting for delivery for 20 minutes I received a phone call from an extremely rude woman(Kathy) who informed me quite nastily that they would not deliver to me because my house is in Lynn. From what I understand, they only deliver to Peabody and Lynnfield. My residence is literally half a block from the Lynnfield line. Apparently delivering a half block further is an unreasonable request. Too bad the person taking the order didn’t tell me that this was an illegal delivery driver situation when I told him that I was over the Lynn/Lynnfield border. I wish Kathy had been a nice or reasonable person when I spoke to her, Instead she was the geography nazi. I don’t want miserable, angry people making my food anyways!

Pizza here is delicious. I tried it once a few years ago and kept telling my hubby we had to order from Mr. G’s one of these days. Finally did and he was not disappointed. Kept saying«Mr. G’s gets two thumbs up.» My daughter — who never asks for seconds, took a second huge slice and gobbled the whole thing.

Mr. G’s is one of my favorite pizza places! The owners are awesome and are always so polite and helpful. The food is delicious! Mr. G’s really reminds me of a cute, small business. Two thumbs up!

They are thugs! Ordered a pizza tonight & took over an hour for the pizza to arrive. Then I wanted to pay with an AmEx card, the driver could not take the card; so they sent a thug to my hotel room to collect… really…DONOT call these guys! !!!

Have gotten food from here 3 times pizza, subs, fried dough and salads. Everything we’ve had has been delicious no complaints at all. Two times we picked up the employees were nice and one time delivery went smooth and was on time. All in all so far so good :)

I’ve been going to mr. g’s for At Least 15 years. I live 45 minutes away– and when I want a Greek salad– I will drive the 45 minutes. The dressing is my absolute favorite and the pita pocket is a bonus. I have tried many places locally and no one comes close–

Food is ok but HORRIBLEHORRIBLE customer service. No personality whatsoever. Is like they hate their job. They dont even ask what you need, if you stand there to order, you get IGNORED too. Over the phone and in person is very bad, Just horrible. Thumbs down

Rude rude rude. I arrived here at 11am when they first opened, hoping to grab a slice of pizza as I have a long day ahead of me and needed food before I started. I was completely ignored when I walked in and there were no less than 9 people behind the counter. I cleared my throat and said«excuse me». Nothing. An elderly man with his head down and a younger man chopping ingredients were at the front if the helm and both of them continued to ignore me and pretend I wasn’t there. I understand they just opened(at 11am, I was likely the first customer), but everyone in there was prepping for the day and ignored me as a customer. I stood for one more minute about to leave when a woman finally said«you okay, hon?» I ordered a slice of cheese, which was delicious but cold. They didn’t heat it up at all. Overall, the pizza was good but the service was horrific.

So I’ve been her about 6 times over the past year. Twice to eat in and mostly delivery. We all order from here at my job occasionally. Buffalo chicken fingers and salad are good. Buffalo chicken wrap tastes good, but is made very poorly, it was not cut and as soon as you open the wrapper, it falls apart. The wrap was not tucked in and really just folded over. As for the he calzone I just ordered, I was very disappointed in the size and quality… I ordered a grilled chicken one. The chicken was good as usual but the cheese did not settle well, the dough was very thin and there was barely any chicken in it… only the center of the calzone had chicken inside. It was all dough a good 2 – 3 inches into the calzone. Had an odd after taste and the bottom of the dough was so thin that you could not actually have a piece. I had to cut every bite, which fell apart while cutting it. Very disappointed. Eating there is tough, they have a small amount of seating and you can find yourself waiting for a place to sit. Very friendly staff, but a Lil pricey for the quality and in comparison to local pizza shops with better food.

I have ordered pizza, subs and calzone & everything has been blah. The pizza tasted like the crust was pre made and the sauce was nothing to write home about. The buffalo chicken calzone I ordered fell apart when cutting it. The dough was way to soft and the whole calzone was bland. I will not be ordering take out from here anymore.

Currently, the best pizza I’ve found so far in Peabody. I also love the feel of the seating area.

Did not like the pasta with eggplant! Really guys do u have to use pizza sauce??? tasted so plain… and no parm cheese!!! Thank goodness it came with garlic bread. The meat pizza was super salty, you don’t have to over due it just a little bit of everything would of been better. But I felt it was over stuffed. Over all ragu makes better sauce and dominos makes better pizza ! So I won’t be calling this my local favorite!

Great pizza. Love the italian style pizza, and it has great flavor(unlike many of the greek pizza places around here). I can’t choose between here and the Courthouse for the best pizza in Peabody. Sub rolls are excellent and fresh. Fries are great. Actually went to this place because my wife was craving fried dough… and they didn’t disappoint! Would definitely recommend.

I ignored the fact that their parking lot was ALWAYS empty and decided to give it a try. There is a reason it’s always empty. The pizza is blah for what you pay and the staff should rethink it’s policy for how the staff should dress… short shorts and flip flops is just a turn off.

OK my wife stumbled across this place after my sons baseball game. The pizza was fantastic ! Why you ask? because it had taste. They must use a cheese blend with Cheddar and Mozzarella because this pizza was really tasty. It tasted similar to a papa ginos sauce/ny style but with more taste. The whole family commented on how good it was. I have not been there in person so I can not comment on the salty attitudes of the people working there. thick skin going in ;)

Good pizza at a good price. They also have fried dough which is how I came to find out about this place. For about $ 3.50 you can get an order of fried dough that completely fills the space of a small/medium pizza box. As the previous reviewer remarked, they can be a little gruff, but don’t let that deter you. Who can really pass up fried dough at such a great price!!!

Go up route one, get off on Lowell street heading east, get to the first set of lights across from the high school and Temple Beth Shalom into the little strip mall where you’ll see Levines and some store that sells ballet shoes and there it is: The best pizza on the North Shore. (Santarpio’s isn’t on the North Shore so don’t start) They have been here for like 20 years and the pizza is awesome. It’s NY style. The service is also NY style but even if these guys are gruff they are still pretty cool. I order from here almost weekly. It’s take out or delivery and when your middle name is «pizza eating animal» like mine you know good Peetsa. Say Hi to Mr. G. The G is for Gamboni or maybe Good or Great or Gabbalabba.(I have no idea what the G is for. Ask them.) Good Stuff, oh the steak bomb rocks too. over and out.
