Fabulous!!! Had mine, my daughters and my moms hair done tonight… the most friendly, non pretentious wonderful staff. I didn’t feel forced to buy extra stuff, it was a mere suggestion and yes I bought a few things but I still have money in my account and I am going back for my mani pedi in a week!!! Give them a call they are fabulous and you will be too after your hair appointment!

I was here today for an appointment and could not be happier. I came to see Christine because I had gotten a very bad hair cut and color from another salon. Christine totally fixed the whole thing and worked a miracle with my hair (see the before and after pics!). I already booked my next appointment! The prices are also very reasonable. I definitely recommend checking out this salon!

I absolutely love this place. Have seen two different people as the first person I saw moved away. My hair always looks beautiful (cut and color). I was driving an hour to get my hair done. Now I’ve found someplace local. I feel so good every time I leave her. The place is also modern, contemporary, clean and beautiful. Congratulations on the work you’ve done here!

Janelle was very nice and didn’t try to make too much small talk with me which I appreciated, so I hate to write a bad review, but I’ve never had a worse haircut in my life. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and the finished look was nowhere close to it. She faced me away from the mirror so I couldn’t see what she was doing and by the time she turned me around, the damage was already done. I will never go back again.

I’m surprised this salon doesn’t have more reviews! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean, comfortable salon. They do nails, massage, and even laser hair removal. Janel was able to fit me in her schedule and took care of me in no time! I explained exactly the color and cut I wanted and it came out perfectly. Janel did an amazing job! Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by the owners of Color Bar since well before they opened this fantastic saloon, and I’ll never go anywhere else.
All of the stylists are terrific. Super knowledgeable, consultative and very good listeners… I’ve never had a bad experience.
If you’re looking for a Newbury Street salon, without the pretentiousness, give them a try. You may never go anywhere else.
