Authentic fresh mozzarella and burata. Love love it. Their sandwiches are great but I love coming in for some fresh made miss and dried sausage. Staff are friendly and food is always on point. Highly recommend if your in town

Fresh store-​made mozzarella, sauces and great sandwiches. Smells like Nonna’s house. You can find practically anything you want for a fantastic antipasto and Italian meal here. Service is slow, but friendly and very accommodating. The Italian grilled cheese is wonderful-​two slices of Italian bread, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, tomato, and basil, grilled perfectly; and their Italian combo is stuffed with meat and cheese.

Very friendly staff, food is fresh and service is prompt. The cost is average to above average for a small upstate deli. They have Manhattan prices, but hey the food is worth the cost. It’s obviously family run and they pay attention to detail and aim to please.

This place is fantastic! He has organic pasta, He has imported oils from Italy, and fresh made cheese and pizza dough. On top of that, he had the best stuffed grape leaves I’ve ever had. Vinny is always very nice and the other people who work there have always been very friendly as well.

We love Vinny’s. We love Vinny too. He’s always there and he makes the best mozarella we ever get. It is incredibly fresh. The imported proscuito is also excellent. It is always our first stop on the way from the city. We also love the ravioli– especially the Lobster ravioli.

I agree with all of the other comments. The best Italian deli in the area and incredibly friendly, even though it can be very busy on Saturday. I grew up on the lower east side within walking distance of Little Italy, Chinatown and the best Jewish deli in the world. Vinny’s could stand up to any of them.

The best Italian deli in the Harlem Valley — hands down. Great variety of specialty sandwiches, pasta, fresh cheese and meats, dry goods. Also a great catering option. Friendly atmosphere — Vinny is awesome.

great place very helpful, they can get busy but food is worth it! He will go out of his way to help you with catering. He even corrected my order, I was ordering way to much for the party I was having. Thanks Vinny. Best egg sandwich around!

GREAT homemade mozzarella – really, THE best, and I’m including mozzarella that I’ve had in Italy. The sandwiches and panini are excellent and there’s a wide variety. The service is friendly and quick too. Vinny himself is a local institution. Stop in – you won’t be disappointed. This is a deli and there’s no seating inside, but there’s a picnic table just outside the door if you can’t wait to eat your sandwiches.
