New Village at Patchogue

Place is ¹⁄₃ occupancy, rents are sky high, village is bar town, drunk kids wandered the streets at night. New village is build on top of two restaurants, wonderful smells of grease. No place to park without paying. If it’s a great deal why is it that. A year later retail space is still empty? We visit a friend who lives there she feels unsafe, as soon as their lease is up their moving out !!!

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at New Village Patchogue. I have been renting an apartment at New Village for the past few months and everyone I have come in contact with in the office has been friendly and helpful since I moved in. I always receive prompt responses with any building inquiry I send via email. They are always arranging fun new events for the tenants and keep you informed about what is going on in the building. Everything in the apartments and surrounding area is kept very clean, and well maintained. I especially would like to give a shout out to Keri from the main office. She has been very helpful with anything I ask her, and she always has a smile on her face. It is people like her that make New Village a great experience.

It’s just soooo NOT worth the price. I’m sorry to say. For a family or professional person I would go somewhere else… ANYWHERE else. Yes they have nice things such as a pool, closet gym and a common room but they allow ANYONE to live here and there is NO security… Remember we are in Patchogue. Not the upper west side or somewhere else who would charge you similar prices. When you are here you soooo want to like it but week in and week out Fraternity BS happens every weekend. DO NOT believe the line about security or even a peace keeper… Thy are not existent. Unless you call the employees who live here peace keepers.

Keep packing 4 dumb 20 year olds in a studio apartment and you are going to lose all your good tenants. And your workforce program is a major joke.

I took a tour from the last event which was «Taste of Patchogue» where most of the local restaurants location of Main St came and let you sample there food from 4:30 — 7:30. The event was held in one of the court yard outside the apartments. Which was very nice and yummy. Let me just start off by saying that these apartments are gorgeous. We were shown the smaller of their two bedrooms. The kitchen and bedrooms were huge. Each bedroom came with its own bathroom which was just a nice and just a massive. Another plus was each unit came with its own washer/​dryer. However the floor plan lacked on the living room space, which I though was a little odd because that’s where most of my time would be. I did not know the apartments came with a outdoor fire area/​grill area which was a nice surprise. Now why such low rating… well first the price. Who are they kidding can afford to live there for 2,600 a month (for the small two bedroom) with really nothing included. And I mean nothing. you do not even get a parking spot. Reason number 2, I noticed that the apartment are built on top of store rentals. This would be ok if they were clothing or retail but some are restaurants. This is great if you love the smell of cheese burgers and fries but just the idea in a couple of years. what if there is a fire in one of the restaurants, what if there are roaches??? Yes I know these are thing you do not need to worry about at this very moment in time but it is something to worry about in my mind.

Overpriced, small apartments. You can hear all of the music and noise from the town bars especially on the weekends. Leasing office is like living in a dictatorship and you feel like you get reprimanded for just breathing! The walls are thin and you hear everything that goes on in the hallways. The fitness center is a closet with 6 machines in it. Definitely not a fitness center!!! The local homes in the area are uncared for. Questionable residents in the rest of Patchogue makes for horrible views and scary walks.
