Location is great and interior space is well set up, making good use of a huge, rectangular bar in the middle of the space. Even on a crowded night the huge bar absorbs a lot of people so it doesn’t feel as cramped as many of the other smaller mainstreet bars. Chips on the table are usually good(warm and salty), and salsa is good too. Chips come out fast, and the waitstaff that is on water, chips, and salsa refill duties are awesome and on top of their game, bringing refills promptly. Word of caution: don’t fill up on the chips! As far as appetizers, I’ve had only the guacamole. For the cost its not worth it, not anything great. The food itself is ok. Nothing extraordinary or rave worthy, but solid tex-mex style. As a vegan there were a bit too many meat based entres for my liking. I stick to the bean burrito, customize it to leave out sour cream/cheese. Yucca fries were good, but the ones down the street in Gallo are better. I’ve had the burrito in a taco shell, but it really cuts down the size of «burrito fillings» you get. Dessert was good, drunken plaintains were spicy and not what I would order again. Churros were definitely better. They have a good cocktail and tequila selection. I’ve had the red sangria on sangria saturdays and it was not great. Can’t say it was bad, but pretty tasteless and would not order again.

My mistake, this place is TEX-MEX not a chain place. I am updaing my review after chatting and receiving a message from the owner. He was pleasent and offered us a gift card. I did declined and will give this place a second chance and update my review accordingly. I still feel my original review is correct but will give it a other chance. Even a great eatery can have a, bad day.

This is one of our favorite Mexican places. The salsa is amazing, we can’t get enough and always order two when the being the chips. The southwest chicken salad is always solid as are any of the quesadillas. The nachos are hit or miss, but when they’re done right they are good! Best margaritas hands down, they aren’t made with mix which is wonderful. Overall a great spot!

We have done a lot of entertaining and going out in the last few months and I have been here three times in the last two months. It was very good and highly recommended. It has a different taste then traditional Mexican, the tex part is a hint of brown sugar. I have the fish tacos, which were good; and the shrimp quesadilla. It was more than enough for lunch plus take home. I also enjoyed the Margarita’s!

This place is great. The drinks are fantastic and their fajitas are delicious. In the summertime it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy your meal. It’s reasonably priced and a great place.

Go here for the great drinks, fresh food and good people from the host to the bus staff, waiters and manager — the latter serving up a way generous comp to a dude(Note, not The Dude:) on a shady complaint IMHO. Bar staff hookin’ it up with attentive yet chillaxed service. Hotties, too. Even the young dude looking after me(as much as I really wanted to dislike him because he wasn’t THE Hottie, Daisy Dukes-clad Sister with the fabulous legs… ah, I mean welcoming gorgeous smile and that oh-so-awesome Peace-Love-Happiness at the beach all day with My Girl vibration. LMAO! Seriously. Anyhoo… Great happy hour deals and menu. I like the veggie options and would love more.

Chips and salsa for the table to start, and the salsa is very good. A bit spicy but not unbearable. Ended up getting a second round of both. The food was good, however some of the items are a little pricey. There were two items that I would’ve ordered, but for the price, I didn’t think it was worth it and chose to order something else. Ordered a margarita and it was delicious. Staff is friendly, I will return.

I went here for the first time with my family and fiancé for my birthday after my sister said she enjoyed it. We were seated quickly(party of 6), and received chips and salsa which we all enjoyed. I ordered the lobster quesadilla and for $ 19, I wouldn’t get it again. Not much food and I should’ve known I’d be paying $ 19 just for a few pieces of small lobster. It did taste good though! The service is what I did not like. When we went, it was not crowded at all, and it looked like they were overstaffed as most of the waitresses were standing around talking to each other. Barely checked in on us if we needed anything or to see if we were enjoying the food. My beer sat on the bar counter for 6 minutes before it was brought over to me by our waitress. I’ll go here again, because I did enjoy the food and so did my family, but I hope to see some improvement with their service. I would love to try a margarita from there!

Pretty good food, good service, cool décor & every TV had a sports game on, thumbs up! Only negative. bathroom needed improvement & the«Camel Toe Hot Sauce» did not look appetizing. Haha.

Based on all my experiences at Babylon I had high hopes that were shattered by my first few experiences at the patchogue location. Dismal flavor compared to Babylon and an abundance of food from Babylon made patchogue seem almost a joke. The tacos we would get would come half full. I’ve been back a few times over and they have really improved my views prior. I think the bar tending is still just alright, the service okay. I think the food has improved and perhaps they have progressed through those growing pains… We’ll see! But as I pay 60 bux for our meals to go, I have yet a few more complaints: They have never once given us the rice n beans that come with the tacos according to the menu. The hard tacos still come half full more than half of the time. On the positive I will never be able to go to del fuego without ordering the shrimp and chorizo flautas, they are beyond belief good. You get two for 11 bux. I wish they were 3 for 13; I love them so much and I could probably make these at home for a fraction of the price, but I will live at del fuego for them. The food is good overall, some things really great. But the fact I’ve had so many imperfect experiences makes me an angry elf. If you decide to go, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, I’m a just stickler and enjoy it as well. Get those flautas though! The pork wontons are great as well. Sometimes they’ll have a good tap beer or two, the margaritas still just taste like straight lime juice, I can just go to Gallo for those. For the price they only get a 3 star rating from me.

Got tequila I ordered and beer and apps all at the same time. Luckily no lime with the Negro Modelo as requested and a hair with my wrap.

Food AND margaritas are on point! I got the nachos that I wasnt able to finish, which is surprising and my friend got the quesadillas that he claimed was delicious as well. I couldnt have asked for better service while there. People more than the waiter was seeing if we were doing okay — always love that in a restaurant. For what they give you, I think the prices are absolutely reasonable. The only negatives, it was so packed on a Friday night, but I guess that’s typical for anywhere. They have a service where they TEXT you that your table is ready — coming from a small town, I find it incredibly neat. And parking, good luck.

Service was a bit slow– our drinks were good and the lobster quesadilla was excellent– loaded with nice lobster and generous side of guacamole, salsa and sour cream. Would definitely order again. Hostess was not very friendly either

Nice décor and great location. I ordered the shrimp and chorizo taquitos, and although they were okay, they were mushy and thrown together. Don’t spend the $ 12 on the mediocre appetizer and go to Taco Bell. The second star is for their salsa. It’s sweet and spicy. Different.

This place? Love. Love the décor, love the food and drink and love that it’s 2 miles away from me! Got the chicken burrito lunch special for 8 bucks. So good and filling. Took half home because chips. Amazing salty, crispy chips and to die for salsa! Got«coerced» into getting a pitcher of sangria. $ 5 off on Saturdays so it was $ 30. A deal if you and who you’re with plan on having more than 1 glass, which is 9 bucks. It’s yummy and strong! Chicken burrito was so good, plus, I forgot to tell them no beans and they made me another 1 right away! Love! 49 bucks for the burrito lunch special, the 3 taco lunch special and a pitcher of sangria. My kinda place! I will be back. In fact, I plan on bringing my girls here for my last meal of my 30’s in September!

Mediocre Tex Mex. The chips and salsa they served to us were alright — salsa was way too watered down and runny for my tastes. My friend ordered the chicken burrito and it was this bland, gushy hunk of not-fresh food. Service was fine, food was not.

I came here with my family for lunch today despite the plethora of choices in downtown Patchogue. It was absolutely one of the best Tex mex meals I have had in ages. First off I love a place that gives you chips and salsa to start the meal. Second this place has major curb appeal inside and out… well done. Lunch specials were a home run and definitely a great deal. Everything was cooked perfectly and was loaded with great flavor. I can’t wait to go back without the kids to try a flight of Tequila. As for the negative reviews… Dismiss them. Order Tex Mex… if you want a burger go to a burger place. These naysayers probably order lasagna from red lobster. SMH.

This place just opened recently and it is awesome! The place is beautifully decorated to match the Tex-Mex theme. They have a ton of tequila at the bar, loads of different hot sauces to add on to any meal, craft beer, and the sangria is a must try! Complementary chips and salsa are brought to your table when you sit and they have specials for every day of the week… I can’t seem to remember but when I went on a Thursday it was«Nacho Average Thursday» which was half off the nacho platter. Their menu is pretty large which could be worrisome but everything that we’ve ordered from here has been delicious! I tend to not stray away once I find something I like, and their Surf & Turf burrito is amazing! It’s packed with streak and shrimp, rice and beans, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. We’ve also tried their Carnitas Enchaladas which was a huge plate of 3 enchaladas packed with shredded pork which was drenched in cheese and sauce. The service is great and everything seems to be served super quick no matter how packed they are. I think this place is a great addition to Pachogue, and it should do well! Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in for lunch recently. Decided to sit at the bar & order a couple of margaritas while looking over the menu. Bartender bought over complimentary chips and salsa, chips were good but could have been a little crispier, salsa was very hot but very good. We ordered the tropical guacamole to go with our chips n salsa. It was fresh & delicious with little chunks of pineapple & mango in it. We decided to order the steak fajita wrap & the chicken fajita wrap with fries, both wraps were great & the fries were super crispy & tasty. For«dessert» we decided to give the white sangria a try & boy are we glad we did !! it was such a light refreshing drink. Perfect ending to our lunch. The had a nice size bar with plenty of seating &TV’s. Great selection of beers on tap. Del Fuego is a great addition to Main St Patchogue. Looking forward to coming back again very soon.
