Loved their REDS!!! We only had time for one wine tasting. I’m so glad I chose Parrish. Casey was wonderful. She had nicknames for each of the wines which I found to be very endearing. She was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. All of the wines had a distinct taste. I’m usually only a cab drinker. I loved the petite Syrah as well as their red blend. Don’t miss, Parrish Family wines whether you have time for multiple locations or only one. They are awesome. In case, you don’t realize it, currently you will be visiting their tasting room in Paso Robles not the actual vineyard.

Shame on me, I was there like New Year’s Weekend 2016– Lela Lelo here– So, I went to Napa for NYE and brought in the new year by attending a NYE Napa Train Event. The weekend was filled with so much fun, my friend and I were having a tough time going back to Los Angeles. Leaving any funcamp sucks when reality starts to kick in as you get closer to home and ending an epic weekend. We just didn’t want to go back home. Then suddenly– gadzooks we had a Simpatico moment! We looked at each other and immediately pulled off the highway like maniacs. We parked and given the limited time and options of the holiday weekend we found the tasting room for Parrish Family Vineyard’s and it was open. YES-Insert your favorite yes –I love this song– in your head here please!!! The people who worked there spoke Lela– that’s very important– It’s my– This wine is horrible– When it is actually absolutely delcious! I couldn’t believe how much I was loving their white wines as we graduated to the reds and exclusives.(SIDENOTE: Even though I’m more of a red, rose or champs kind of gal– the white wines were marvelous). Then I suddenly had a’tiphany-, «I just might have to go back and«often». Hearing the story behind the wine maker is one of my favorite California Wine Country past time activity. Sitting down and sipping on some wine, listening about the history of the Parrish Family Vineyard and the family’s generations only helped me staple my mental filing papers together as a «Oh, it’s totally a done deal.» Next time I go, I might have to buy a few month’s worth supply so I can introduce it to some friends, my clients or give it as gifts.(Oh you thought I’d drink this excellent wine by myself?) Pshah– Never! It MUST be shared– not just the wine; the experience itself. Let me mention that it is located in the heart of the town and a hop, skip away from the centralized park with the gazebo, restaurants, boutiques, the theater(where I watched Star Wars at with my friend Anna, our new friend we made and probably 2 other locals who were way in the back for the 10pm showing on Jan, 2, 2016). There’s so much more to the experience at The Parrish Family Vineyard tasting room. It’s a must try for sure! I know you’re reading this on the 101HWY– Exit now. You’re welcome.

Quality stuff. Period. Must stop by when visiting wine country! Silken blanc or chard for white lovers and the syrah or cab for red lovers!

We stopped in for a tasting. The host was very friendly. We had the cheese wine pairing. The cheeses were all excellent and by and large paired fairly well with the wines. We found the whites very drinkable but enjoyed their reds much more. Would recommend stopping here for a tasting before heading off to the vineyards… helps get you in the mood. We bought a few bottles and the fee was waived. Would return again.

Another stellar location downtown with great service and its dog friendly like a number of other tasting rooms. Very well educated and trained staff. They have a great deal with Unilocalers offering 2 tastings for $ 10

$ 10 for wine tasting but waived if you purchase 2 bottles. This winery was one of the few that are open past 5pm. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and provided me with a map of local wineries that serve cab. I was surprised by this because I didn’t think wineries promoted other wineries due to competition. I would love to return.

Perfect place to stop when in downtown Paso! We walked in as strangers but left with a few new friends and a bag full of wine! The wine was amazing but the service and staff sets them apart from other tasting rooms. Just trust me and head over to Parrish!

Loved, loved, LOVED our experience here. Lauren was our tasting room attendant and she gave us great background on the wines provided along with a cool history of the family who owns the vineyard. Crazy cool to know that the Parrish family has been in our area since the twenties! The white wines were crisp, delicate and crisp. We aren’t typically huge fans of reds and we loved them here. We bought bottles & can’t wait to return!

We stopped here while walking around downtown Paso Robles and we are so glad we did! The wines are delicious but it was the staff that made our experience so much fun! They were helpful and were fun to talk to. Great experience!

Exquisite wines served on a well-appointed tasting room in downtown Paso Robles. Friendly and helpful staff. Make sure to do the wine-cheese pairing — makes their terrific wines even better.

Friendly staff, super knowledgable, and a family owned establishment that I love to support. For wineries, I’m feeling that personality for staff was friendly, though slightly«factory» or «rehearsed.» I loved the details of the wine and pairings, though I wasn’t convinced they were as into the wine craft as so many are that you can encounter at wineries. It didn’t feel robotic or un-warm, rather just a little more tourist like. Wine was good, though they did charge for the cheese pairings where so, e other establishments did not.

Really enjoyable tasting in paso. The server was a family member of the vineyard and very knowledgable of the wines and history. We enjoyed our time and look forward to our return.

We stopped in Paso Robles on our way to San Luis Obispo and checked out three wine tasting rooms. Parrish was our third and by far our favorite! All of the wines we tried were amazing and still reasonably priced at $ 20 — $ 40 per bottle. We tried great whites and great reds. The chardonnay and GSM were our favorites and the ones we ended up purchasing. The tasting at Parrish is $ 10(waived if you buy a bottle of wine) which is more than some of the other tasting rooms in Paso that are free or $ 5. However, the superior wines at Parrish are definitely worth it! The girl pouring our wines was also very nice and informative, the tasting room is adorable, and they had cool other stuff to buy in addition to wine(think: wine-tasting picnic kit). Even the small details like the perfect tasting crackers(made my Toll House surprisngly) made this visit perfect! I’d love to come back!

Great downtown winery. Highly recommended. Tasting room manager, Chalan, is very friendly and inviting. The room is comfortable and well appointed. The wines are excellent. My favorites were the GSM and the pinot.

My group and I were doing a wine-tasting hop after lunch and we came across this cute spot just off of Spring St. We met David Parrish from Parrish Family Vineyard and he was such a genuinely nice gentleman who is very passionate about what he does. He explained a lot about his family owned vineyard and how he timed the grape-picking for the perfect Cabernet. This was the third and final stop and it was by far our favorite for the red wines. They had 2 white wines and 5 red wines to choose from — I loved the the ’06 Cabernet Savignon. Ten bucks, lots of conversation and 5 glasses later, we exchanged business cards and he gave my bf and his friend some words of encouragement regarding their careers. It was a great experience and I most definitely recommend to stop by :)
