So far I’ve only had tacos. They are just above average. I like juniors a little better.

Traveling through this area looking for food, found this place on Unilocal. Most of the places that came up were taco trucks, I choose this place because it seemed to be a sit down restaurant. I was mistaken. You can sit down inside but its more of a taqueria with a very limited menu. They have tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, thats it. I had tacos, my son a burrito plate. My son had to go back and ask for the rest of his plate. They have a nice salsa bar with alot of options. We tried to order chips & guac but they do not offer either of those. The neighborhood is questionable as well, I was not too comfortable being there.

La Fama has been my favorite stop for affordable and authentic Mexican food in the Tri-Cities since early high school(about 7 years now). It’s a classic example of «don’t judge a book by its cover,» which I think can be said about a lot of Mexican food spots around the Tri, specifically in Pasco. The food has literally always been amazing, whether I ordered a quesadilla, burrito, torta or tacos. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly and the service is quick while the food always comes out hot. Bonuses: They also serve fresh aguas frescas and horchata, and have a self-serve salsa/topping bar complete with limes, radishes and extra cheese. This place seriously can’t be beat for no-fuss, homemade, delicious and affordable Mexican food. It’s where the locals eat and I try to make a stop here every time I visit home.

Best Mexican I’ve had in Pasco! Building and location don’t give off a great vibe, but that’s what hidden gems are made of! The food and friendly service make up for it. I’ve had tortas, tacos, and burritos. All delicious. Food comes out fast and tastes authentic and fresh! Highly recommended for a Tri-Cities Mexican expert!

The food is just very good. Small family owned place that does it right. Inexpensive, the real deal. Food comes out quick enough, hot, and tastes wonderful. Great portions for the cost.

Was in town for kids swim meet and as they say«when in Rome» so opted for Mexican food. We chose La Fama based on Unilocal reviews and proximity to pool. 10 yr old son was skeptical based on décor but I assured him we will most likely be in for a treat. We were not let down. Wife had tacos and I had a burrito and they were wonderful. The salsa bar was an added bonus. This place took me back to Southern Ca(Santa Ana specifically) where it’s down and dirty home style mexican food complete with mexican soap operas playing on outdated tv. Now if something falls on the floor here, just leave it… don’t eat it. But if you’re not high maintenance and enjoy fabulous & honest mexican food, this is the place.

Beyond awesome. If this was anywhere near one of those new dangled burrito chains – those chains would be out of business. I had the burrito plate, and took half home for another meal. My husband had three tacos. We both thought we’d died and gone to taqueria heaven. While we were there, the phone was constantly ringing w takeout orders.

Fabulous lunch! Flavorful, authentic — Not a TexMex place. Huge portions. My wife are definitely coming back. Q’Doba doesn’t compare. Very very Good

Had a al pasto torata, good but too much pineapple. Price a little over the top. Beans were good. Rice overcooked and too salty. Had an orchata tooo sweet. Ate outside cuz the restaurant had bugs all over the windows. Food department should definitely stop by there.

Great place, mostly I had tacos and they were awesome. My buddy had a torta and it was swill. My tacos were well seasoned and the side of beans was not overly salty. My buddy’s torta came on a sad little hamburger bun even though it is pictured in a bolillo on their menu. The restroom is gross. It’s outside, around the corner and has the bucket full of used toilet paper that is common in more traditional Mexican restaraunts.

This is a great Mexican joint to stop at for lunch if you are in Pasco. I went there again today with some co-workers and really enjoyed the food. Don’t let looks fool you, the place looks quaint, but its food and salsa bar make up for any shortcomings in appearance. They also have the some great bottled beverages including Coke from Mexico that has sugar cane instead of high fructose corn syrup.

One of the best ever. Authentic, delicious, cheap, perfect. Small space, so perhaps not the easiest setting for a group, but the food is worth any other consideration.

Amazing food. My husband and I both got burritos. Easily could have just shared one. Excited to try more of their menu. Some of these little hole in the wall places are like treasure troves. We will definitely be coming back!

Like other reviewers have posted — this place is not about the ambience. It’s about being affordable and delicious. This is my husband and mine’s go to Mexican restaurant. The tacos are great, but we go for the burritos, tortas, and quesadillas. The meat is so flavorful and they use fresh produce. They are consistent and the food is always spot on. They have fresh fruit juices and horchata. Our favorite thing about this place is the free salsa bar that you can’t find anywhere else. They have 4 types of salsa, cheese, limes, crema, cooked onions(spicy or not), AND beans. Like I said, the portion sizes are huge. 2 people could share a burrito easily. For my husband and I with drinks and a tip it’s usually $ 15. Can’t beat it.

First, I just have to ask, who writes a review on a place they haven’t even eaten at just to talk about curb appeal? Just sayin… I’m from Spokane and found this place through Unilocal.I’m drenched in a glorious sweat from salsa and roasted jalapeños as I write this. I had the tacos($ 1.25 each) — lengua, pork, & carne asada. Delicious! I also had the horchata. As other reviewers have already noted, what sets this place apart is the salsa bar. It was just amazing. My only regret is that they don’t have a location in Spokane! Oh, and for point of comparison, my wife had gotten a chicken fajita pita and mango smoothie from Jack in the Box for $ 7.99. My tab for the meal described above was $ 7.58. Yeah, I got the better deal…

I love this place. Not sure if it is THEBEST Mexican food in Pasco, but it has to be top five. Hard to say when Pasco has so many good Mexican places. And this place is more like a taco truck indoors anyway, so it just is not the same as «sit down» style Mexican restaurants. But they are SOGOOD. I love the exterior décor. It just screams to my tummy«We got what you want, esse!» Inside could use a little sprucing up, but it is comfortable and that is good enough. The menu is simple enough. Pick a meat type, pick a delivery type(taco, enchilada, torta, or quesadilla), then pick something to drink. And they have Pepsi, which I like better than Coke. They even have the more traditional stuff like lengua(tongue) if your taste runs that way. I am too gringo to eat that, but love their beef, pork and chicken. So then you get your food and turn around… Fresh cheese and salsa bar! With grilled onions! BOOYAH! And sliced limes! How can they afford to stay open?! So you get sat down, you eat your food, you smile. You can’t help because your food is that good. It is also fun to try to figure out what they are saying on the TV that is always on Univision of Telemundo. My Spanish is terrible so I miss most of it. If you even REMOTELY like Mexican food, treat yourself right and come to La Fama. Also, they expand seating outside in summer.

My friend and I completed a mini Tour de Taquerias in Pasco this last weekend, and by unanimous decision La Fama was our winner. Inside the bright green and yellow building resides Taco Mecca, succulent meats piled onto tiny corn tortillas and dressed with lettuce and tomato. The clincher is the vast selection of the toppings bar, where tacos can be dressed to taste with cheese, crema, and various peppers and salsas. $ 1.25 per taco… a small selection of bottled sodas and water is available.

If I was a 9th-12th grader at Pasco High, I’d be fueling my formative years at this little establishment. This is an authentic taco truck fare restaurant. I went with an asada torta and taco. I would of got a glass of a pina drink, but I already had a beverage. They have a nice salsa bar, with a lot to choose from, including cilantro, lime slices, beans, and cooked onions. So, as I waited and ultimately ate in their small dining area, I watched the wacky Mexican game show on TV(with a couple of kids who were entranced in the show… I think there was a donkey parading around). This place was decent(and I did see that they had a La Fama Taco Truck in their parking lot).
