The pleasure I have from Joia is out of this world. She makes your body feel like satin when you leave her hands. She gets all the knots and kinks out while giving you pure relaxation. I strongly recommend her services and will be back to venture «The Joia Experience!»

I just found out that the best massage therapist in the nation has found a new home at The Spa Sante and Salon. Her name is Joia. I just moved back in town and I am super duper excited!!! I don’t know how long she has been there but I CAN tell you that she is definitely a top notch therapist, OMG I can’t wait to get an appointment. I must add that she has the kind of hands that can heal the sick. Truly God gifted hands to say the least. I have a women’s group and we have been searching for a spa home in Pasadena. The thing I’ve always loved about Joia is that she’s flexible with home and office visits and now that she has a new spa home, this makes it even more convenient. I can’t wait to book my appointment. I hope she can fit me in because her service is worth every penny. I am tickled pink!!! You’ve got a winner over there. Thank you Spa Saunte for bringing her in. See you soon!

I had the pumpkin facial done by Ingrid and it was amazing… Not only does each step smell so good it’s relaxing. I highly recommend it.

I was fortunate to meet Roberta at the Arcadia Blues Club where I was playing music a few weeks ago. Robert said she did massage and I asked her to contact me so we could set an appointment. I didn’t know what to expect but upon arrival I was treated with utmost care as if in an exclusive country club. I was offered a robe from a cabinet and shown to the luxury mens locker room. After securing my things in the digital locker, I put on the robe and met the greeter at the locker room door where she handed me an ice water, She led me to a lounge area where I sank into a poofie couch until Roberta called out my name and we retired to the massage room where I was treated to a spiritual awakening via the loving manipulation of the meat on my bones. Roberta is intuitive and her loving hands offer sympathy to untouched muscles and nerves starved for nurture. She seems to be able to sense where the stress is hiding in the muscles and she lovingly coaxes the stress right out of the body. I don’t know where she studied, but I know a soul chosen body worker when I meet one. Roberta is an angel of mercy. She changes the way you feel about life and yourself by paying attention to each part of you and what needs to to be touched an urged to relax. This woman is an artist. If you can get an appointment, you owe yourself an hour under Roberta’s care.

My friend heard about the daily internet special from her friend and for the day I went, it was for a 60 minute massage and 45 minute facial for $ 99! What a deal!
Surprisingly for a Saturday, we had no problems calling in the morning for a 2PM appointment. Plenty of parking in the back. We arrived just in time and quickly checked in. The staff was really friendly and showed us around. The dressing room and restroom areas were clean. They had a couple showers. The locks on the lockers were confusing that I ended up having to get it opened so make sure you read the instructions properly.
I had my massage first and the therapist that I had was really good. I want to give her a shoutout, but I don’t recall her name. :(I have to say she was the best I’ve had though! She was a petite lady with small hands, but knew how and where to apply pressure that she relieved all my knots. Felt so good afterwards that I felt really relaxed.
Facial was also good. The esthetician was friendly and personable, while still remaining professional. I enjoyed the spa day. Hope to go back again some time.

I have been going to this spa since I was 12 years old when it was still Amadeus. I moved with them because of my love for their employees… unfortunately a few of my favorites have since left.
FIVE stars for both Prema and Carmen. If these two ever left I wouldn’t drive all the way from San Marino to this location.
–Prema is an amazing esthetician. I go to her for my brows/​facials and I will never trust another human with my eyebrows as long as she still works here! She is amazing.
–Carmen is probably one of the best masseuses I have ever had. She is strong and knows exactly how to fix my sore muscles without it being overly painful.
The only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the location and the building. The location is pretty inconvenient compared to their old one on Green Street where it was centrally located to everything in Pasadena. Also, the windows and walls seem to be pretty thin because I can hear traffic etc. when I am getting a massage. Their daily email deals make all of things worth it.

Today was my first time here. It was a very nice experience. It was very relaxing and calm. The rooms and the staff were nice. I would go back again.
Also, the Saturday special — 1 hr for $ 69…not a bad price.

Had a Deep Tissue Sports Massage by Kathleen. Sooooo great. She had the perfect tone of voice and touch for a thoroughly relaxing experience.
Facility is very nice, too, but not overdone, very conducive to relaxation. Lots of overstuffed leather furniture, which I like. Nice locker room so all your valuables can stay locked up subject to your own personalized combination lock.
For the next hour or so afterwards, the world moved in so motion for me, which is the hallmark of a great massage. Highly recommend. I will be back.

I went to Elude because they took my Spa Wish gift cards. I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea it was so nice inside. From the outside it really didn’t look like much. I had been to Amadeus so I took a chance. The menu of services is very similar to Amadeus and, unfortunately, so are the prices. The massage I had was wonderful and everyone was really nice. I have to say that having something like this on my side of town almost made it a 5, but the prices are a bit high. They no longer have the old town rent rates so they should be able to drop the prices. All in all it is worth going to.

I heard of «The Spa Sante in Pasadena» from my mom. I’m so happy I listen to her bc I was looking for a new refreshing place to have my hair and nails done. Tina did a fabulous job she dye my hair and left it so soft. She made me feel so welcome and was super friendly. Trish did an awesome job with my French manicure. This is my new favorite place to come to.

I visit this salon every two weeks… I am a regular client of Flora’s. My experience here, from the moment I walk in the door, is always so refreshing and positive. Upon arrival, they make me feel pampered, engaging in conversation with me, and offering a nice beverage. The reason I keep returning is specifically for Flora. I was referred to her by someone who I trust completely… someone who would know with certainty that Flora is a professional, and an excellent cosmetologist. And professional, she is! Her treatment room is always clean, sanitary, inviting and relaxing. Her practices are above board, and if I ever had any question about the procedure while my eyes were closed, all I’d have to do is ask her. There is not one negative thing I could say, nor would I believe a negative comment coming from someone else. Five Stars for Flora and for the Spa Sante and Salon!

I am giving a generous rating of two stars because the hair is gone and that was the main goal. But the service itself was awful.
I had a Brazilian wax with Flora and will never make that mistake again. I normally go to European wax center but this place is within walking distance to my house and I am 38 weeks pregnant and wanted as easy as possible. $ 100 later I am hairless, but have a bruised vagina and a bruised ego.
Flora is the only waxer who uses hard wax here and I only wax with hard wax. So I booked with her and the saga begins. Flora DOUBLE DIPS! Ladies, this means that my lady parts were touched with a tongue depressor and then it was put back into the tub of wax… The same wax she will use to wax other lady parts! Not cool, Flora, not cool. She «flicks» the hardened wax to get a good grip to pull it off which hurts like hell. She makes rude comments about what she sees down there. I am 38 weeks pregnant, have a broken foot and have not been diligent about my landscaping, I DO NOT need to be told how hairy I am. I can’t see down there but I am not stupid. That’s why I am here so just get to work. And lastly she decided it was her right to pass judgement and say very rude things to me in regards to having a baby out of wedlock.
It’s been about 14 hours and I am still in pain from her rough work. Do yourself a favor, save $ 40 and go to the people who you can trust to do the job right at European wax center. And Flora, shut up and buy some more tongue depressors and dump your wax pot.
