The Burger Xperience

I’ve been wanting to try this place for the longest but their telephone number is disconnected. Serious bummer and pretty unprofessional.

Ordered delivery through Eat24 on a Thursday afternoon. Received confirmation via email that I should expect delivery within 60 minutes.
About 55 minutes later I get a call from Eat24 saying they could not get ahold of the restaurant. Per Unilocal,the restaurant should be open. In the end, food was not delivered, the restaurant is not answering their phone, and I’m starving. I tried calling too and there is no recording in regard to business hours or emergency closure. Very disappointed. The restaurant should either correct their business hours on Unilocal or be more reliable.
Just a comment after the restaurant responded below: eat24 called the number provided below and I did too– many times. Nobody answered the phone at all. Were they open or closed that day or not? It was a regular non-​holiday Thursday afternoon. According to Unilocal they were open. Does the restaurant regularly close unexpectedly? I have no idea. I just know I can’t count on them to be open or confirm my eat24 order.

Located in a small plaza that is easily missed if you’re going too fast.
Stopped by here and picked up a Salisbury steak with two sides (I chose mac n cheese and hush puppies) to share with the husband. It was $ 12.99 in total.
The mac n cheese is pretty solid. The Salisbury steak tasted like a giant burger, which I think is a good thing. The hush puppies could have used more flavor (there was a little jalapeño inside).
The staff was friendly, so I would return.

Ordered food for delivery through Grub Hub. The food never arrived after waiting 2 hours. I called three times and the phone has been disconnected. Apparently they are out of business?

If you are looking for some REAL Soul Food in the Pasadena area you have to visit this place. Don’t let the name or location fool you. Greens and Mac & Cheese are on point and those two sides are the cornerstone to any soulfood spot. I have been there four times this past week and the quality is always the same, perfect. I believe the family of cooks are all from Mississippi and you can tell the difference in the food, nothing like it in Pasadena.

This business is now Cleo and Billy’s Soul Food in addition to Burger Xperience. I was next door washing this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see a new Soul Food spot. I was even more excited to read the good reviews and look over the pictures. The business still wasn’t open when I left the laundry mat around 11:30 am. The hours weren’t posted either. I had to be back in the area later in the day so I figured I’d stop by then. At 6pm the business was open. The staff was very inviting and friendly. I won’t grade them too hard because from the looks of it, they’re fairly new but lets just say they have nothing on Roscoe’s. There were parts of my chicken I felt was thoroughly cooked, mac and cheese didn’t have that home made taste I was expecting, corn bread was super cold and the greens were on the salty side. They seem like good people so I’ll wait a couple of months and give them another try.

Great Fried Chicken and the best Mac and Cheese in town hands down!!! These ladies are Mississippi transplants and a welcomed addition to the Pasadena area!!!

This place just opened. It’s called burger xperience but they have soul food. I had the fried chicken, collard greens and Mac N Cheese. Comes with corn bread and was delicious! Will be returning soon.
