Update: +3 stars for customer service, and attempting to make things right.
Stoneside contacted me after the initial review, and sent out their electronics specialist. He finally managed to get the blinds working. They were very apologetic, and refunded 10% of the total cost for the inconvenience.
Their efforts to make things right were appreciated, so I’m updating their score to 4 stars overall. Even though it turned out to be a very lengthy process, I have to give them credit for being honest people, and really trying to make the customer happy.
Now just do it right the first time, and you’ll be a 5-star company.
