I have loved the hidden jewel located on first floor of our Corporate building. It recently has had a change of management and the quality and atmosphere has definitely changed! I hope it picks it self up me listen to its clientele. I have been disappointed the couple of times I have been this month.

Good for a quick bite. Breakfast burritos, coffee. Some cute gift items like cards, jewelry, hand crafted fairy sculptures, etc. Not good for working/hanging out.

As previous reviewers said, the café is hidden within the Lake Plaza towers but it’s definitely worth the visit if you’re in the area and looking for a filling/healthy bite to eat or midday caffeine jolt. Seating inside is pretty minimal– just two tables– but that’s understandable since the café itself is pretty small. There’s a nice shaded plaza right outside though with plenty of tables and chairs so finding a place to eat is not a problem. Food: wraps/salads are always a good choice Service: I’ve always had good encounters with the café owner/cashier– bright and cheery smiles every time I visited. Definitely a day-maker when you’re having a grey day haha. She even posed for me when I was taking a picture of the surprisingly extensive snacks selection(I shouldn’t go to but end up being drawn to anyways sigh) hahaha.

This place is great if you work in the Lake Plaza towers to go grab a bite. It is slightly hidden(it is in the 251 tower by the back parking structure). Fresh premade salads, sushi, sandwiches ready to grab and go. Tons of junk food snacks for those mid day cravings. They have a lot of healthy eating as well, made to order, however slightly pricey. The staff is great, and has always treated me and my friends well. Definitely recommend this place!

They pretty much feed me every day. The food is good. Favorites include the sandwiches and the soups, although they use a really strong spice in the soup that may or may not make your breath smell. Not a big fan of their fruit pasta. The owner is super nice and always says hi when I walk in. The girl who takes my order is super nice too. Always brightens my day. Recommended if you’re having a bad day at work or work in the plaza.

This place earns an extra star because it’s in my office building. It’s so convenient to walk over and grab something quickly for lunch or a snack if you work on South Lake. They have a large selection of chips, bars, snacks(junk foods) on the wall when you walk in. They also have a lot of fresh cut fruit and salads that are grab and go. The fruit is pretty decently priced considering it’s all cut up. I love that it’s a variety of fruit and not just grapes and cantaloupe. I recently tried the half BLT. I watched them make the bacon, so it was fresh off the grill. It still came together pretty quickly. I asked for no mayonnaise because personally I don’t care for it. The sandwich was dry so I wish they had put butter or something else on it. I just tried one of the wraps. I ordered the chicken avocado. I don’t understand their obsession with mayo. This time I asked for it with caesar dressing because I didn’t want it plain again. It was good, filling, and came with a side salad I wasn’t expecting. Also, they incorrectly gave me bacon. I believe because the person I was with ordered bacon, and I’m not one to complain if you want to give me more bacon in life. Let’s be real.

A hidden gem. No, its really hidden. Tucked away in the back of a corporate plaza is a tiny sandwich shop. Besides the usual convenience store products, they carry pre-made salads, fruit bowls, and sushi. They make sandwiches, smoothies and rice bowls to order. And, they are really good. They even offer to toss the pre-made salads for you if you don’t mind the couple of minutes wait. Best of all, they have a full Peet’s coffee menu. The staff is always incredibly nice. I really hope the lousy location doesn’t hurt them. I doubt most of the S. Lake business district even knows they are there.

I love their bulgogi. Since i stopped by to try their coffee and ended up with a box of bulgogi bowl, i can’t never get bored to this place. They have lots variety of foods, snacks, and drinks. Even yoghurt and fruits. This place is favorite among Kaplan indonesian student and we called it «tante korea» place. Means korean auntie, because the food taste like home made food. I love their coffee too, helps to keep me wake till 9pm.

a coworker opened my eyes to this little gem! it’s hidden and right across the street. charlie sheen would say i’m winning! prices are competitive and the food is more than worth it! they make everything fresh and have a huge array of choices from sushi to rice bowls to sandwiches and more! i ordered the breakfast burrito. They cooked the eggs fresh and it had potatoes and cheese and delicious salsa in it. It’s pretty damn large and only 4 bucks! I took it to my office and devoured the thing with some tapatio. oh and theres a convenience store inside the café. they have everything from magazines to drinks to candy, which comes in candy when i’m feeling my afternoon lows and need an energy boosts! it’s family owned and everyones super friendly!

Before I start a workout, I often like to eat a energy bar for that extra boost. My usual place that I buy my energy bars from had closed early today, for unknown reasons, but someone referred me to Plaza Café. It was close to 6pm when I arrived to this café and the doors were locked. I noticed a lady inside so I knocked on the door. When she opened the door I told her I was referred to her café, as I’d like to purchase a energy bar, and she graciously welcomed me in. I had no idea that this café closes at 5:30pm but I’m glad she allowed me in to make a purchase. This is a nice café on the ground floor of an office building. The café has an array of foods, coffees, teas, smoothies, and freshly squeezed orange juice. For the healthy at heart, there’s a healthy menu as well. The variety in this café is amazing because they offer the popular food brands in addition to other quality organic products. I was impressed with this café, particularly with owner who allowed me to purchase a energy bar nearly 30 minutes after they closed and were ready to leave. It’s not too often that friendly business owners of this caliber are found. I really appreciated the kindness of this owner. This café is a family owned and operated business. So, if ever in the Pasadena area, on South Lake, try the Plaza Café.
