Caramel Heaven! The Little Flower Candy Company specializes in a café style sandwiches and its a great place to brunch. However, they have the most amazing salted caramel candies! They are a little pricey at $ 8.00 for ¼ of a pound, but they are amazing! They were, soft, chewy, and didn’t feel grainy or coarse. The caramels were mellow and didn’t stick to my teeth. They were so tasty, and just the right amount of sweetness. They also didn’t have that fake pasty artificial taste some caramels have in your mouth. The two best caramels are the Salted Caramels and the Vanilla Caramels. If you are in the Pasadena area, I recommend you come here and get some great caramel candies. I brought some home to friends and family and they loved them.

Stopped here for lunch before a tour of the Gamble House. Very tasty salads. I enjoyed the kale tabbouli and Farris with autumn veggies. The lemon meringue pie was amazing! Fresh lemon taste in the filling. Light textured, vanilla flavored meringue. I look forward to stopping here again if I’m back in the area.

Cute place. We were really excited to try it because the menu seemed really good. My husband got the Rare Roast Beef sandwich and I got the Green Turkey. They looked great when they came out, but they were SUPER bland. Especially my turkey sandwich. For something that has jalapeños, cilantro, aoli, and avacado, it had zero flavor and was really dry. My husband also commented that his«rare» roast beef wasn’t rare at all. We’ve been dieting and this was our cheat day, and we’re kind of disappointed we wasted it on these sandwiches.

This place is worth checking out. It’s very cute inside and their displayed candies never disappoint. If you want to buy candy buy their caramels they melt in your mouth! They have outdoor seating like a café, it’s rather cute because you can watch the cars and people walking their dogs going by. When I go I usually order a pastry and they are always delicious. I haven’t found anything wrong with this place other than that it a tiny bit over priced however, it is in the hipster area of Pasadena so what do you expect. Worth It.

CUTE! ADORABLE! DELICIOUSANDFRIENDLY! I was visiting Pasadena and my Aunt took me here to grab a coffee… WELL.let me tell you there aren’t enough words to describe how good everything is. both the coffee and the FOOD. I sampled as much as my waist line could handle… pastries are a 10+, candies are OFF the charts, and the YUMMY Salads/Sandwiches are a treat for the tongue and belly. Really cool place with a local. homey feel. LOVE it, and I will come back to eat more on my next trip. and oh yeah see the family too. Great place to pick up a snack and do a little last minute shopping! They make their OWN candy. and have some fun items to make any hostess of a dinner party happy! LITTLEFLOWERROCKS!!!

Decided to grab breakfast with a friend here and it met my expectations that I had after reading reviews here. I got the breakfast sandwich and my friend got the veggie breakfast burrito. My sandwich was a tad on the greaser side and her burrito started to run because of the juice of the egg? The place was quite snug and parking was a b*tch to find. After rounding the place like 4 times i parked on a residential hill behind the restaurant. But with my luck, as soon as we walked towards the restaurant, the block right in front of the restaurant cleared up!!! The waitress that took our order gave us a little attitude, and because of that I was tempted to give them 3 stars but thats not fair. Tried their infamous sea salt caramels and it was very very very basic and not worth $.50.

This place is really cute. It’s a little café that doubles as a candy shop that also sells novelty items. It’s kind of in a secluded area as the shops around it were pretty empty /not open on the weekend that I came. There is a parking lot in the back. No line when we got here and managed to find a place to sit. No one really seats you so you just grab menus and take a seat. Honestly nothing stuck out to me on the menu as it was pretty standard so I decided to get the egg salad sandwich which is my go to when all else fails. And it did not fail me! It was good :) Also got a slice of their olive oil cake which they recommended. I’ve never had a slice of olive oil cake before so the idea of it was interesting. It was delicious and had little bits of pistachio on top! I’d come back just for this. Overall fun experience as it was cozy and homey but I wouldn’t say the food is anything out of the ordinary. Get the olive oil cake though.

What a cute and homey little place! Came here today to grab some lunch with a friend and as soon as we opened the door there was a long ass line. But by the time I was done looking at their menu(there’s also a list of daily specials written above the counter if interested), it was our turn to order. Ordered the beets and baked goat cheese salad with the cheese on the side($ 12) and the brown rice bowl($ 10) and a chocolate chip cookie($ 1.50). Good sized portions and everything was wonderful, especially the cookie. Not a whole lot of space inside or outside so gotta be a little aggressive with getting a table. The tables were cleaned immediately after people left and the guy that was taking the orders up front was super nice. I’m hardly ever out in this area but I need to try out their sandwiches and the rest of their wonderful desserts so I guess I’ll use my friend as an excuse to come out here.

I thought I would enjoy this place since it’s highly rated and I also LOVE lincoln. However, the experience here was somewhat disappointing. The line, first, was so. long. Then it took a long time for my food to come out. The turmeric milk was interesting and simply delicious. The curry chicken sandwich, however, was worse than the urth caffe version. The bread is really hard and difficult to bite into. So the whole biting and chewing process were so intolerable. I expect better things from here, little flower.

They are stingy with portions on their breakfast scrambles and seem to think that serving a bunch of bread with them makes up for that. I got the sausage/fennel/parm one. A good scramble portion would be 3 eggs, and what I ordered looked like 1 large egg or maybe 2 small eggs. The sausage was also scant and did not make up for the tiny egg portion. I avoid bread and gluten but had to eat it here or else I would have left hungry. They also did not have any gluten free bread options and if you decline all the bread, they will still charge you the $ 8.50 for the teeny scramble. That’s not a fair exchange at all and not a way to keep customers coming back. I’m out. 2 stars because they do have an incredible milk and honey dessert. If they have that in their counter, get that to go and skip the food.

This place is a gem. The name is a little misleading because there more to this store than candy. They’re known for their sea salt caramels but don’t skip out on the reasonably priced $ 6.50 breakfast burrito. My favorite is the scrambled egg with grilled onions and bacon wrapped in a wheat tortilla. The side of salsa verde has the perfect amount of kick. For lunch, I like their«Green Turkey» sandwich. It’s a little spendy for a sandwich at $ 10.50 but you won’t be sorry. It has a lot of goodness you won’t experience in your everyday turkey sandwich… the jalapenos and edamame spread make it so delicious. I know this may sound a little random but Little Flower also has great gift ideas for foodie friends. You’ll find jam from Sqirl, cookbooks and other sweets. Seating can be challenge on weekends so go there early but don’t be surprised if you have share a table with folks you don’t know.

I can see why people love this neighborhood spot. It has a cute display of candy complete with sky high prices($ 8 for a tiny bag of sea salt caramels) mixed with a neighborhood gem kind of vibe. The best sandwich was the hanger steak but the chicken pesto was a sloppy mess of drippy looking cheese mixed with a heavy-handed portion of mayo. Minus a star for that. For comfort food, this fits the bill. But if you are after«clean» food, I would give this place a miss.

Sis recommended this Fantastic Neighborhood Gem and I’m so glad she did! Located on Colorado, nestled between the 134 and a residential neighborhood. They might have parking behind, but when I drove by there was a garbage truck, so I just parked a block down for free on the street(under a tree). Its a little Candy shop/Bakery/Café. AWESOME. They make the baked goods & candy on site. The candies were oh so tempting. I’ll just have to go back and get some of those Salted Caramels or Candy Corn. They have seating inside & outside. Sis and I opted to sit outside. Its nice & shaded, but the 134 is loud. Food: Green Turkey: this tasted FRESH! Turkey, garlic edamame spread, aioli, onion sprouts, jalapeños(couldn’t taste this), cilantro, cucumbers, arugula & avocado. Italian: Very Good. They do it right and add a finishing touch of oregano. Ham, fennel, salami, spicy salami, mortadella, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil & vinegar. Sis grabbed the soup of the day, Curried Pumpkin, and loved it. Drinks: Fiji water Sis had a Bundaberg beer To Go: Grabbed a Cappuccino. Perfect. Grabbed a Fresh Brownie for my daughter. She inhaled. Will be back and I could see this place becoming a 5 star!

How much do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Simply put it doesn’t get much better than little flower. I will tell you with enthusiasm that I LOVED everything I have tried from this place. I had the pleasure of experiencing breakfast and lunch for three days straight and I had to take a break from my diet to just fully appreciate the food. Of all the meals and desserts I tried, here are my top recommendations: 1. The rice bowl: brown rice bowl with a light dressing and mixed veggies 2. The Lavender and Honey Scone 3. Goddess Salad If you didn’t know, now you know !!! :D Feel free to explore and try anything that calls your name. I doubt you will be too disappointed with whatever you choose.

This review is only for their sea salt caramels. All I have to say is that these caramels are the BEST caramels I’ve ever had! They were perfect! Not too hard, soft, chewy, and had the perfect balance of salty and sweet. I normally don’t like caramels so for them to create such a heavenly taste in my mouth is a big thing for me. You can get a ¼ lb bag for $ 8. They also have ½ lb and 1 lb bags too. When I walked in, they had 3 flavors: sea salt(most popular), vanilla, and lemon(seasonal flavor). Kinda pricey but totally worth it! They also sell other candies like gummies and chocolates and other random cute gifts. The guy at the cash register told me that they are known for their brunch menu. I’m definitely going to come back and try something from their menu! Good place to buy some caramels/candies as gifts and/or have a bite to eat! :)

Just had the most yummy brunch. Met up with my bff to eat some good food. We had the quiche, sausage scramble, chiquiles, then followed that up with coffee cake and brown butter tart. The food was soooo good. I NEED to go back for more baked goods. The shop is super adorable. It’s small! They ask that you leave strollers outside. There is a lot of stuff in there. There is outdoor seating too. Candy shop, bakery, cute stuff for the house/kitchen and right now lots of woven totes… perfect for the summer. Can’t wait to go back. *specials are on the chalk board*

Just had breakfast at this lovely café and was very pleasantly surprised good food and experience. It’s located right off the side of the fwy on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena next door to guitar store and catering company. The place is small, but cozy and atmosphere is very welcoming. Parking is available along street and back lot. The moment I walked-in, I was presented with plethora of assorted candies on display. Delightful childhood treats like marshmallows, taffies, sugar candies, gummy bears and homemade jams were present. However, Little Flower was so much more than just a candy shop. Next to the counter was freshly made baked goods and pastries. OMG! Shut the front door and lock me in here. Oh Ya, make sure to check out the olive oil cake(see pic)…it looks divine. Everything looked tempting, but will power quickly put me back in place. I was smitten with the desire for something savory, especially the working man’s meal — the breakfast sandwich($ 6.50). Yessum and not that McD#@@& crap either. Precision crafted with eggs, melted cheese, salty meat, caramelized onions and toasted bread, Little Flower did amazing job! Savory, gooey and luscious flavors were amplifying throughout my mouth. Seriously, best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in recent memory. The cup of latte that I got with it was delicious too. Overall, the food was on queue and fairly reasonably priced, including good service. It was so satisfying, not to mention a lifesaver to my rough commute to work today.

We went here on a whim for a quick lunch on our way north. We got the berry tart, egg salad and the Italian sandwich. I spotted the homemade sea salted caramels and grabbed a bag of those as well. First of all, the place is small, luckily people are more than willing to share communal tables. You get a mix of their candies and baskets that greet you before ordering your meal. When you finally get to the counter, you get their muffins and other sweets to stare at while figuring out what to get. Anyway, going back to our meal– I really liked the texture and overall flavor of my egg salad sandwich. I also really appreciated the fact that they give you two different types of pickles to go on the side. The flavors balance out pretty well and nothing over powers. The hubby really liked the Italian and their bread, which was a little crunchy. And the tart was amazing. If i lived walking distance to that shop I would be going there a few times a week. If anything I prefer a little more salt on my food, but that’s something I’m a tad picky on and shouldn’t deter from anyone visiting. However I do appreciate the attention to details in this shop and because of that I highly recommend it– also they’re right next to the freeway.

Having read recently that Pasadena is one of the snobbiest cities in America(who writes this stuff…), Little Flower Candy Company is a really small, cutesy place that seems to fit within those narrow parameters. I would only wish I could rock a snobby attitude and be able to get away with it in a closet kind of way, but truth be told, I probably stuck out like a sore thumb when I visited recently one morning to see what all the hoopla was about… Since they carry Stumptown I already like their taste in coffee, they could do a lot worse. What troubles me is that I’ve spent the better part of the week visiting Lincoln which is kind of the spinoff from this place and I was already beginning to get weary of that place too. I decided to revisit Christine Moore’s original place for breakfast one morning to see what I’ve been missing. The first feeling that I get that LFCC is outliving their little spot on Colorado is that the little shared parking lot in back is segregated between neighboring business; not so warm and cozy feeling right when you arrive… Something simple to represent, that’s all I was after for my first visit. I chose the Breakfast Sandwich because it was simple, how can you mess up a grilled bacon and egg sandwich. Maybe the problem was that I held it up on a pedestal but I thought it was just ho-hum. It was just egg and bacon between to pieces of toast, not exactly inspiring. I also tripped them up when I ordered a decaf Americano w/soy milk; they forgot the soy milk and I had to ask for it… Since they’re called a candy company, I was expecting something more wondrous but their candy pickings seem slim. Today’s kids are more jaded, I doubt that they would be impressed. Known somewhat for caramels and marshmallows because we see them elsewhere all over town, I was expecting them to be like crack when I tried them. I found the texture of the Sea Salt Caramels to be really gooey soft, almost like taffy. I don’t like the feeling as it was coating and sticking to my molars with every chew. The flavor is intense, but I just couldn’t get past the stickiness, just not a fan… Lincoln’s pedigree is showing up all over at LFCC, even though the menus are not exactly alike and although this was my first visit, my expectations were already tainted. Like my experience at Lincoln, I found the Breakfast Sandwich to be adequate but pedestrian, and the coffee was just… coffee… I openly wonder how they have a 4.5 star rating. Probably won’t go out of my way to repeat…
