I like this little joint. In my opinion lavender is quite a dividing flavor. Either you hate it or you love it. Luckily for me I tend to love it. I tried their signature lavender/honey toast as well as the lavender lemonade. I also had a taco salad that was large and tasty but I felt like it was lacking some meaty flavor. I should have paid more attention since it did say veggie taco salad –_–(should’ve been a clue) Also, I just want to say that the chocolate chip cookie was fanstastic! I know its only a cookie but it was crispy and soft and delicious all at once. Would definitely recommend it and go back. Maybe they can get some lavender ice cream that would be extra yum!

After seeing a commercial on TV for promoting square I wanted to try it out bc the name intrigued me. Came here on a Sunday, so the line was pretty long. Despite the crowd, I was able to get a seat with my bf. Parking was good since there is a parking lot. I ordered the honeybee latte, French lavender breve, lavender and honey toast, and pasadena toast. The total came out to $ 14. It was delicious. I liked the honeybee latte more than the French lavender breve. Both toasts were good, but I preferred the lavender and honey toast. Customer service was also very good. I definitely recommend this place and I will come again.

A nicely crafted double espresso macchiato as I have ever had. They serve Coffee Klatch beans, so they started with quality and then knew what to do with it. I enjoyed the environment, but it seems they need to open later. People were at the door allot. Maybe 7… I would have hung out longer, but… Over all, great.

Very, very delicious and unique drinks here. Food is not bad either. I got the French Lavender Breve and The Italian sandwich. The FLB has a very distinct lavender taste and a creamy but light texture to it that I feel you can’t get elsewhere at another coffee shop. I’ve tried the hot and the iced versions, and both are equally delicious to satisfy your needs at any time of the year! The Italiano Sandwich is pretty darn substantial. It’s got like five meats, cheese, and some other toppings on it, and definitely definitely satisfied my hunger. In the past, I’ve also gotten the Honeybee Latte and the PB Honey Banana and both are solid alternatives for orders as well. Unfortunately, the place itself has very limited indoor seating(a few single tables and a couple community tables) and a couple outdoor tables. So unless you get here super early, I wouldn’t recommend coming here to study or anything, even though wifi is provided. They have a private parking lot that usually fills up, but there’s also street parking!

The name was alluring, so of course I went. My first trip was less than pleasant, and the sandwiches less than mediocre… I thought it must have been me. How can a new coffee shop, with a darling name, and a line outside be sort of not that good… My Parisian was too cold… the bread was really good, but my butter was frozen cold… so there lacked a general cohesiveness of the fully rounded experience. It was a hit and miss of a thing. So this Sunday I went again, with a friend, who is definitely less critical than me. Again there was a line, shorter this time. We ordered a coffee, a latte, a ham and cheese croissant and a H+L toast. I was handed me the beautifully looking puffy croissant in a little brown bag… when I said that it was ‘for here, can I get a plate?’ the person at the register said«No, the plates are for the sandwiches.» hmmm… I was disappointed and thinking how am I going to eat this, bite into it? That will look less than civilized… plus I wanted to look sophisticated in a place that had lavender as part of the name. My friend went to the kitchen/food preparation area, and asked for a plate. They didn’t have an issue with it. So I delved into my croissant. It was too cold — I could taste the frozen fat on the ham. So I didn’t finish it. My latte was watered down, almost no espresso in it. I had to get up and ask them to add some coffee to it. My friend liked her L+H toast. I don’t know, I feel bad — but I wouldn’t go again. If I was living in Pasadena, I might stop by for a quick coffee. But that’s it.

I stopped by Lavender & Honey to grab coffee and a quick bite while waiting for my car to be services at Hrant’s. Got these two: + 8oz Latte for $ 3.25 + L + H Toast for $ 3: goat cheese, honey drizzle, and bits of lavender on toast Both were good, though the latte was slightly overpriced. I didn’t run into the same issues others had with the toast. I would have preferred if the cashier asked whether I wanted my toast for here or to go. They put my stuff in to-go containers although I wanted it for here so I had to grab a plate.

Utter confusion… My first experience here was OK… Not great, but not bad! I got a coffee and a toast with peanut butter and Nutella, which totally confused me, cause when I ordered I was like ‘I’m not sure if I want Nutella or peanut butter…’ And the woman was like ‘why don’t you do both…’ Which I did and they put half of the toast with PB and the other half with Nutella, I though they were going to do both like a layer and then another layer On Top! Lol maybe that’s just my gluttonous side thinking… I went there again, cause I have friends that Rave about this place! So I walk in and I decided to get a mocha and this, who knows what it’s called, croissant thing that is buttery and a bit creamy inside and has this nice beautiful layer of sugar on top. It’s in my pictures… The mocha was good… Love the little heart that they put on top. And that croissant thing was AMAZING! I wish I knew the name of it… But I enjoyed every little bite, or big bite, that I took! So as torn as I am about this place, my last experience was great. So I’ll give it 5 stars! Go and try that thing I’m talking about!!!

We went in for breakfast and it was so good. The service was very good and the girl with the brown ponytail was very nice. The ambiance is very nice as well as the menu options. Loved it! The drinks were perfection. We got the lavender and honey breve, not too sweet. I would totally go back to get it again. I also got the lavender and honey steamer and again it was tasty. I usually don’t like so much sweet in my drinks but this was only a little sweet, just how I like it. The toast was spot on. I got the L&H toast. It has lavender, honey, goat cheese and is on wheat bread. We ordered the PLT. Only complaint about that is the bread has a lot of pull and is difficult to bite into. We ordered a cappuccino to go and another L&H toast. The lavender toast had a lot of lavender when we got home and was a little strong BUT easy to remove the excess. We will most definitely be back!

In Pasadena for an event and what’s the perfect way to end a day in Pasadena? A visit to this wonderful café! The place has parking but limited. You can always park at Ride Aide across the street, just don’t get caught. Love the brick building and the outside seating. You walk in and everyone says hi. Very small café but wow it’s busy. Just tell you how good it is. Ordered a blended salted Carmel latte for bro, honeybee latte for me and Pasadena toast. Got our order, sat outside and started digging in! The bread was toasted perfectly! Crunchy on the outside but still chewy in the middle. The avo spread was creamy and tasty! I can eat that with anything! The blended salted caramel was so good, not overpowering sweet like most places. It had enough sweetened and creaminess, makes me wanna order another one. The honeybee latte was perfectly creamy and had the hint of honey. The latte was strong and smooth as well. We were about to leave but I cannot leave without trying the L&H toast so went back in to order one. Can I just say— it was so different and yet sooooo good. My bro said it had too much lavender flowers, I have to agree with him. Maybe less lavender would make a little less fragrant and soapy but I actually liked it a lot. Although we did not try the sandwiches, the ones I saw coming out of the kitchen looked so damn good! I deff recommend stopping by this place when in Pasadena! You will not be disappointed!

After a hike at Echo Mountain, came looking for more of a lunch place than this place provided, but they did have a patio seating(very little shade) for the pup. It’s an adorable shop on a street lined with cute stores. They have minimal outdoor seating and it was quite busy on a Saturday at 2ish. From thr cute appearance, I wanted to love it here, but the staff was a bit snobby/unfriendly and promised a key for the bathroom located just outside the restaurant but never did. As far as real food(as opposed to pastries or toast), they have a couple of sandwiches(that are huge) and a couple of salads. I had the taco salad which was terrific… crisp lettuce, black beans, corn, tomatoes, topped with guacamole. It was very refreshing and ample. I wish it had come with something crunchy, like tortilla strips, sprinkled in it though… it needed… something. Before leaving, I had to try one of their lattes since it was definitely more of a coffee/tea house than restaurant. I ordered 2 cookies(a nice homemade gluten free assortment) and an iced vanilla latte. The snickerdoodle was so soft it crumbled before getting it into your mouth. If you’re able to get a bite before it disintegrates, it’s pretty damn tasty. The other cookie was a sandwich thing that had Chai tea frosting in the middle(I can’t recall the name). It looked way better than it was. The latte was a bit of a disappointment. Unfortunately, it was very weak tasting. I may try this place again to give it another shot before writing it off completely, but I’m not running out the door to come back for a $ 45 sandwich, salad, canned pelligrino, latte and 2 cookie meal that was, overall… just okay.

I’ve been wanting to try Lavender and Honey for a while. The parking lot is small, but thankfully we were able to get a parking spot. The shop is kind of small and they didn’t have a lot of employees(maybe three?) on a Saturday mid morning. It took a few minutes to order and then maybe 10 – 15 waiting for the beverages and snack. Lavender breve — 3⁄5 I liked it, but really didn’t taste any hint of lavender. As a beverage with expresso it was ok. Lavender lemonade — 3⁄5 They have the lavender lemonade in a drink dispenser. It was just ok, a little too tart and the lavender tasted like I was steeped too long. L&H toast — 3⁄5 For $ 3 you get a small piece of toast with cheese, lavender buds and honey. I would have liked it more if the toast wasn’t burnt/crispy. It just left me thinking I could make my own toast with these ingredients and it would taste better. Overall Lavender and Honey is a cute shop that you should check out at least once. I must have gone on an off day, but hope to come again for another visit.

A pleasant find! The area around doesn’t seem that cool or popular, but this café and a few of its neighbors are doin it right! The décor is hipster, cozy, and cute! The servers are amazing and helpful. There’s an extensive hot drinks menu but I don’t really like coffee so I ordered the steamer($ 2.75 small), which was amaaaazing. For food I ordered the l&h toast($ 3) which has goat cheese honey and lavender on a slice of some quality bread, and a Italiano sandwich. The first one was great, and the sandwich was huuuuuge and tasted just pretty good — nothing too spectacular. But overall, décor ambiance and decent food and a great place to come to work, relax, or chat with a friend.

Adorable spot located in the charming city of Pasadena. The seats are limited inside but they have a small outdoor patio for dining as well. Their coffees are great and their toasts are also good. Love the bread they use! I got the L+H toast since I’ve been seeing it al over Instagram. It was good but a little too floral for me. They could probably do an extra drizzle of honey on it though. My friend got the avo toast and it was pretty solid. Easy parking, super affordable, trendy and quaint! Overall, glad I checked it out :)

The ambiance of this place is great – very simplistic with the white theme going on. This place isn’t that great of a place to study because although there is free wifi, this place lacks space, outlets, and the environment is not so quiet either. This place is more for short conversations with a friend or two or maybe grabbing a quick bite/cup of coffee. Lavender & Honey also closes quite early around 5pm. I ordered the lavender and ricotta toast, a cup of cold brew w/soy milk. My friend ordered a lavender latte. The toast looks gorgeous, except there were actual bits of lavender on it and it was too bitter and strong for my liking. Unless you’re a huge lavender person(I personally love lavender and honey ice cream but this was still too much for me), then you should try this, if not, then I suggest that you try the other toast options. The toast wasn’t that great either… it was cold and the bread wasn’t impressive. The cold brew was on point, delicious. My friend’s lavender latte was also strong in lavender taste but it wasn’t quite hot enough… more like warm. There is a parking lot available at the back.

This is a fantastic shop to stop by if you’re in the in the mood for a nice warm cup of coffee. It’s a small place so it’s very easy miss so be on the look out for a coffee print on the wall. It is typically packed with people so be sure to order to quickly so that you can start sipping! I usually go for their French lavender breve, Honeybee Latte or Americano and these drinks does the job of keeping me partially caffeinated throughout the day. I really enjoy the Honeybee Latte and French lavender breve because it is light and full of flavor. They are defininitely my go to drinks when I’m in the mood for something lighter and not as rich. They have a decent sized drink menu, and I am sure something will peak your interest here. I’ve tried the food here before, and its decent but nothng to rave about aside from their fantastic coffee drinks. Décor is nice, welcoming, and every modern; however it can get a little noisy because of the small setting and the tables are really close to each other. The only cons is that drink are pricey! If you opt to get the cheapest one, its only about an 8 oz cup and looks literally like you could finish in one big gulp. You’re likely going to want to spend more for a bigger size after you see the difference in cup sizes. Depending on how busy it gets, it might take a while to get your drink; so if you’re in a rush, get in line and order ASAP.

Definitely a solid 4 stars. Worked up an appetite after hiking at Eaton Canyon and this place was one of my bookmarks. First of all, cute place! Very simple, clean, and bright. Staff was friendly. There’s a parking lot out back. I decided to try the honeybee latte. Wow! The honey definitely shines through and compliments the coffee flavor. Just the right about of sweetness. My friend got the the salted caramel hot chocolate and she was quite impressed. I also decided to try the infamous L + H toast and it was to die for! Toasted walnut bread, slathered with a nice helping of goat cheese, drizzled with honey, and topped off with lavender. I could eat this over and over. We also ordered the chopped Italian salad and the veggie taco salad. The salads were OKAY, which landed them 4 stars. I was more impressed with the toast and drink selections. I’ll definitely come back to try their other drinks and other food items. But TRUSTME, you have to try the L+H toast!

Lavender & Honey is an awesome coffee and toast spot. The ambience is great with clean white walls, nice wooden tables, hanging light bulbs and neat modern artsy accents. As you can expect from a fancy coffee shop, drinks are on the pricer end with lattes being around 3.25−3.75 for a small(6 oz; for reference, Starbucks tall is 12 oz). But the drinks at L+H are tasty. Would recommend the French Lavender Breve, a latte which nice, subtle hints of lavender. Due to all the toast hype, I went with the L+H toast. The toast and goat cheese spread was tasty, but the lavender and honey are the highlights. The taste of lavender might take some getting used to, but the honey helps round out the flavor with some sweeter notes. At $ 3, its not bad and simple enough to inspire and elevate your own toast game on home.

This has become one of my favorite spots! Its pretty new and it’s in such an unexpected neighborhood, but it’s really close to my house so i stop by quite often before or after work. The atmosphere is pretty hipster, unlike the neighborhood, but i don’t mind it. One of my favorite things about this place is that they have their own parking lot. Parking is a huge factor in how often I check into a business. I’m all about convenience and I’ve become a regular here because of it! The coffee is perfect and they even have pretty amazing food. I love the peanut butter/banana and pasadena toast! Great vibes, easy parking, and amazing coffee. What more could a girl ask for?

Wow, can’t believe I waited so long to come here. My impromptu visits left me speechless. Such a great gem in upper north side of Pasadena. First of all, parking was ample and spacious. The small coffee shop wasn’t too crowded unlike the ones in Old Town Pasadena which can get overbearing at times. Décor and vibe is welcoming. Decent seating option, including an outdoor patio. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and very well maintained restroom. I ordered a latte and their signature lavender and honey toast for $ 3. The toast was excellent. On top was cream cheese spread infused with sprinkled lavender herbs and drizzled honey, perfectly toasted country bread so amazingly yummy. It went equally well with my latte which was instilled with artistic décor. All in all, if you’re in this neck of the woods, craving light bites for breakfast, shot of espresso or refreshing latte, then this is where you out to be.

Not bad, Not bad at all… Aside from the honey dripping all over my hands and looking like Pooh Bear. I throughly enjoyed my LT toast which was a light goat cheese with honey and Lavender on top. It was pretty darn delicious and the Honeymee which was made without sugar and purely with just espresso and a bit of milk was perfect. Not overly sweet and yummy!
