This review is for Carol Huston. Carol was an amazing Realtor. When we were interested in breaking free of renting and finding something a little bigger a couple of years ago for our expanding family, Carol helped us do just that. Her personal tag line is «I love finding homes for people,» and she truly does!
On our first tour of homes she took us on, we ended up walking through the house we ended up buying though we didn’t know at the time that would be the case. It was out of our price range, was a short sale, and had been poorly maintained and would need a lot of work. However, within a month, the price had dropped (still out of our price range) and on Carol’s advice, we put an offer in anyhow at what we could afford as no one else was biting. The bank accepted! The short sale process is pretty rough, however Carol’s connections with lenders, inspectors, and her knowledge on home buying helped us tremendously. We had five different inspections with extremely qualified inspectors who let us know in detail exactly what was wrong with our home as Carol had said it’s best to know beforehand what you are getting into so you can make a plan of what is urgent to fix and what can wait. She was 100% correct about that. We are so glad we spent the money on these inspections and two years later, with the continued work we’ve done etching away at all the projects necessary to bring the home up to code, we had the house appraised recently and the value is $ 200K more than what we purchased it for.
Carol is a fantastic Realtor and we wouldn’t want to use anyone else. She’s extremely personable, professional, positive, and well connected! Aside from her tag line, the other line you’ll here from her when thinking about something that you need to do to your home is, «I know a guy that does that!» She does. They are always the perfect recommendation too!

We just recently sold a condo with the superb assistance of Carol Huston from Deasy/​Penner & Partners. She did a fabulous job advising and sold our condo pre-​listing! She is a wonderful real estate agent, very honest and very knowledgeable. She made sure that that the correct inspections were done so that both buyer and seller were protected. From start to finish we were completely satisfied. As a back note, we used Carol Huston to buy our house back in 2007, and she was wonderful then, too. She researched a ton of houses, took her time to show us a wide range of houses that fit our (very picky) criteria. We got our house at a (then) great price, and we and the sellers were so very pleased with her professionalism and knowledge. (she was not with Deasy/​Penner then, though). For an easy listing or a great buying experience, you should really consider working with Carol Huston. She works hard to make sure you get what you want, whether selling or buying!
