I brought my bottle to refill and the young man could not tell what was in the bottle before. I just picked a replacement but it was not as wonderful as the one I had finished. I had gotten it as a gift so I didn’t have any info. Really had hoped to get more of the same. Have not gone back to try another one.

I used to live in Pasadena for 3 years. I would visit Beyond The Olive every now and then to restock on my olive oil & balsamic vinegar needs. So many great choices!!! And I love that you can try them before buying. And then they closed, and I cried for a couple of days.
So glad to see them reopened even if it’s a smaller shared space. It’s a couple blocks south of the other location.
I love their garlic flavored olive oil and ALL of their balsamic vinegars. Go try it, and you’ll thank me. You’re welcome!

Great selection of oils, spreads, vinegars n sauces to spice up ur life. The store associates are friendly and knowledgable. There are sampling stations for every oil n vinegar to make choosing a whole lot easier! Love this place :))

They were previously located at 10 N Raymond (currently Jimmy Johns). They now share a small retail unit with ‘The Bea’s Knees at Stats’.
They primarily sell specialty olive oils and balsamic vinegar. I think most of their olive oils are from California grown olives. There are many varieties of with infused flavors which are good.
What makes this a 5-​star business, IMHO, is the 25-​star balsamic. It’s a thick syrup like vinegar with a dept of flavor I had never known existed. Basically changed my life. I give them as Christmas and birthday gifts. People who enjoy nice things will like this.
You can get pretty fancy and make all kinds of gourmet stuff but my favorite is to pour some of the 25-​star and an olive oil on a plate, toast some bread, and eat.
I think the 375 ml refillable bottle is about $ 25 for the first fill with bottle, and $ 20 for refills.
