Nancy does a great job on acrylic nails. Very friendly staff. No appointment needed. Totally recommend!

I love the staff at Amore. They are friendly, kind, and know what they’re doing. I go there once a month for a pedicure, and my toenails look great for weeks. They take credit cards for payment, but make sure you have cash on hand for tips.

Just had the worst gel manicure ever. It looks terrible. Even my husband said it looked bad. I wish I was the type of person who could say something in person. But unfortunately I’m not. My pedicure turned out great. But they set a timer for 5 min. Each foot gets a 2 ½ min massage. What is that?!! Horrible

I hate to say this because I was a faithful customer for over a year. Kathy and Henry are no longer here. Not sure where they went and no one says. I’ve been her twice since they left and both times I was disappointed. I took off my nail recently and now get mani’s with gel so it’s $ 30. One time it peeled off after 2 days. Today me and my daughter went in for the same thing. The lady who did my daughter didn’t know what she was doing and the other ladies told her how to do it. The lady I had rushed because they had a rush of two other customers who complained the whole time, so I got the fastest mani I’ve ever had along with her not letting my gel dry or cleaning it right. Some of my nails are now shiny and others are matte. My daughters nails are bubbly and all over her skin. Total of $ 45; not worth it! After being so happy and writing many reviews and posting pictures of my nails I will not be returning. So sad that three other customers where complaining when I was there and threatening to walk out. So sad. Kathy, Henry where did you go!!!

My first time here and totally worth it. My naturally unattractive nails looked so much better and very xmasyy. The ladies were so nice. Definitely coming back to be pampered again!

I’ve been going to Amore nails for years, it never disappoints. Nancy is my go to girl for pedis. I get ingrown toenails and she is the best at removing them.

I’ve been to a lot of nail shops in pasadena! But this is absolutely my favorite, 1 it’s across the street from my house 2. They have an amazing relaxing atmosphere! Henry did my nails & he did an amazing job, no one else at any other shop gets my stiletto nail shape right but Henry did and I’m super happy &i was only here for like an hour!

I went in today to get a mani and pedi and as soon as I walk in Henry greets me with a smile and asks for my name, within seconds I sit down and Henry and Nancy start working on my hands and feet. Both Henry and Nancy were so polite kind and very friendly. I’ve been coming to Amore Nails for the last 2 years and always got the best service. The staff is always nice and friendly. Great job

I have been getting my mani-​pedis here for the last two and a half years. I am so happy to have Henry and Kathy as the techs that take care of me! Henry is excellent, he always gets me in on time, makes me a cup of coffee or tea, and does a beautiful job on my acrylic nails. He is extremely professional, polite and very reliable. I highly recommend him and his staff as they really strive to give their customers the best experience possible.

I am a faithful customer of Kathy. I’ve followed her from her old place of business and she has never let me down. She isn’t pushy about products or services. The only thing she’ll do is ask.. Do you want a manicure pedicure? And if you say no.. She lets it go. I cannot say good enough things about her. She is always concerned with her customers leaving happy and making sure they get what they need. She listens to what you want! Before you leave be honest with her. if you didn’t like it she is more than happy to fix it. She just wants you to be happy with the end result.
The establishment is always clean and staff is always friendly. There is plenty of parking right outside and a donut shop next door.

I’m so sad this place has changed hands. I’ve been going there for years and loved it. Unfortunately, a total jerk has taken over and it’s a complete disaster!!! I had decided to give then one last try this past weekend. I arrived 5 minutes early and was wrapping up a business call with a client. Image my surprise when a female appointment came out and banged on the driver side window, scaring me and waving demanding I go inside as if I were late for my appointment. Are you kidding me? Who does that lady think she is? I was so angry over this boundary infringement and complete disrespect that I backed the car out and drove straight over to Urbane Beauty in Monrovia for my mani/​pedi. I will never step foot in this place again!!!

I’ve been coming here for my nails for years. Nancy has been doing my pedicures and she’s great! The service is really good and all the workers do a good job. Also, I get gel on my nails and it lasts a very long time. I’m a happy customer, definitely should check out if you’re in the area.

Kathy and Helen are a phenomenal team! Helen is meticulous with her pedicures. Her massages on my feet and legs are unique and out of this world. Kathy will bend over backwards to ensure your nails are exactly as you envision them. They both work very hard and I feel very fortunate to have them! The atmosphere at Amore is soothing. Life slows down in there, but the efficient pace at which both Kathy and Helen work does not. Thank you, Kathy and Helen, for your consistent excellence! My toes and nails are always so happy! You are both joys!

This has been my nail place for several years. BTW it is at the corner of Sierra Madre and Michillinda. Went in today and all new faces. Feet not very smooth and I got the callous treatment. As I go barefoot alot they usually go to town on my feet and I don’t mind paying/​tipping some extra. Today $ 40 for pedicure — suddenly language a problem and now am going to look for another place. Still pretty clean, but felt really ripped off.

I just moved to the area and live down the street so I thought I would give this place a try. I got a pedicure, and they charged me for every little thing. The girl asked if I wanted my feet rubbed (which they usually do) I said yes and they charged for an additional $ 5. It got ridiculous after awhile. And somehow my basic pedicure turned into $ 32! Then the lady talked me into doing my eyebrows $ 8, which isn’t bad, but now they are both misshaped and super thin. It looks so horrible! She took the mirror from me before I could really look at them. And I left a $ 3 tip and the ladies made me feel bad because it wasn’t a lot. WOW! Never again will I go here and get ripped off! Horrible place. And my feet don’t look any different. I should have saved my money.

Helen is the best ! She’s a very good mani and pedi !!! I love her !!! Helen rock !!!

I JUST SPOKE TO THE MANAGER AND I KEPT HEARING EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE
IF THEY UPSELL YOU ON A SPOILED PEDICURE DONT DO IT! ITS NOT WORTH IT!
anyways i just spoke to the manager and she kept giving me excuses, i’m a hairdresser and when someone isn’t happy, i cant feed them excuses, its not acceptable.
The women used the same set of towels on me through out the whole service so when the masque part came, she left old cold towels on my legs because she was too lazy to get new warm ones. It wasn’t comfortable at all! who wants cold towels on their legs?! and the owner argued with me that they never do that! «ummm okay cause they were on your legs right?»
she also left masque and lotion on my leg, i had to ask her to clean it better.
the massage was also terrible and boring! the same motion over and over for 10 minutes, i felt like i wanted to ask her to do a different motion or change it up or something!
Im also so upset that the owner decided to blame the fact that we came in at 6:45… i would have appreciated it a lot more if they would have said they were closing in 15 minutes so that way they don’t rush through a service.
and to top it off, the polish looked horrible! my polish looks like it two weeks old! its only been two days! she left the top coat all spotty and rushed to go home. i started to repaint my toes with top coat myself until i’m assuming it was the owner that started to do it for me.
i’m seriously so disappointed. if your services are going to be so expensive, it needs to look like an expensive job and your clients need to leave 100% satisfied!
anyways, not worth it what so ever.

I have been getting my eyebrows done here for over a year now. I have had different people work on them. I know that is not something a lot of people are comfortable with doing. But they all do an amazing job. The entire staff is very friendly. I always walk right in and i am on the road within 15 minutes. Prices are very inexpensive. I remind you all it is a skilled service that they provide. Tip accordingly. I work in the service industry and know when an establishment is well managed and has great employees. Amore Nails & Spa is one of the good ones!
