Forthofer J E & Sons Roofing

Wish I read these reviews before hiring Forthofer– I was charge 2000 to repair minor leaks — after a rain storm one area he worked on opened up and water poured into the room — took 4 weeks to get him back — then he said he NEVER worked in that area on my roof — and this was gonna cost me — stood in the yard and said its coming from whole different area where I worked — the leak is in the same place exact same place inside and he keeps saying but coming from a different area without even getting on the roof — mind you he could not remember anything he did — before he made that statement and when I asked him to check if it was the area where he worked he said no not without being paid — dont hire him — he is nasty — he wont guarantee any of his work total bogus job and now I need to hire a roofer to check what he did — so any recommendations about roofers I would welcome

Warning! Do not hire this roofer. They fixed the original leak, but after a heavy rain there were 2 new leaks in the same area that they worked. They came back to investigate, but never fixed the leaks. I had to hire another roofing co. to repair the roof. They were nasty to make matters worse. Do yourself a favor& hire some other roofer.

HOMEOWNER BEWARE!
Seemed very nice the day they showed-​up to repair our leaky roof (father & son) but over time we realized that the patch job was not done properly. We now have a spot on our ceiling to prove it. Plus, they will not return our calls, all 3 calls!!!
