I came here with my family for my daughters bday… the staff is VERY nice! They came and put a sombrero on my kid and sang happy bday to her which was great… I love the atmosphere… it is a large place and the décor is nice :) all they need is tuna dip!!! Food needs a little more flavor…

I love this place. The salsa is a little runny but really fresh. The food is awesome. My favorites are the Camarones Monterrey. This is a dish with bacon wrapped shrimp covered in jack cheese and baked. It’s crazy good. I also love the shrimp tacos. Their shrimp is very fresh and you could eat them plain and be very happy with it. However, they season them up to perfection. Love this place.

Had a great lunch there. Chips were warm, and salsa was great. I had the fajita burrito, it was delicious and the portion size was great.

Love this place. Good, easy Mexican food. Service can be somewhat spotty, but food is good and it’s a great place to bring kids.

The Happy hour frozen margarita was a disappointment but the waiter was able to swap it out for something else, so I got the Latin Love it was okay not anything special. As far as the food, I ordered something called pollo fundido. To be honest I really didn’t know what to expect ordering it and it may be a Mexican tradition but squared American store brought cheese? What a HUGE Disappointment that shouldn’t even be legal in restaurants. Lol I ended up going home and fixing myself a plate of leftover Chinese food from last night.

I have been here before and never left with the feeling I had today. Probably will never be back. I had the fajita sampler with the chicken, shrimp and steak. It was just okay. If that. I had the chicken fajitas at la bamba the other day and they were way better. The fajitas today were dry and the chicken and steak are thin. The shrimp were on the bigger side and tasted the best out of the 3z I have had other meals here before that I thought were good which is why I thought it was okay to go back. But as of today, I would go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time.

Fair price, food was really good, nice environment. Waitress/waiter’s Speak Spanish and good English too. They have a kids menu with a good variety of plates, even mac&cheese for the children that don’t like Mexican food. They give you chips with salsa while you wait for your food. It didn’t take too long for food to arrive.

Eh. Not a great selection of Mexican food in Boca so I thought I’d try. Just eh. Inky go to is the veggie burrito. Very limited amount of veggies on it and t was kinda dry. To top it all off they are kinda pricey. Won’t go back.

I don’t love it. Been here twice and the food is fresh and tasty but nothing spectacular. Everything is buried in a garlic white or red sauce except for the fajitas which were very dry. The service is wonderful which is why I gave it another shot.

Not like other Mexican places. The sauces were different from what I’m used to but I love that about them! The sangria was top notch. I’d definitely make the trip back over there for some good authentic Mexican food.

Here we go… The food? Ok, I thought my skirt steak was good… not awesome but good. The rest on my plate was good as well. My wife loved the salsa, «THE best I have ever had!» she said. Her shrimp dinner… not so much. But she, like most wives, is very picky… That said… atmosphere? I almost thought we were in America there was so much Mexico in the air. But seriously… I liked it… nice colors, people and music. But listen closely, there are Brazilians disguised as mexicans… heehee… I will come again. And I will eat the shrimp my wife bagged to bring home.

I went here for lunch last week & will never go again. This is a Mexican restaurant that does not even have passable salsa. The salsa had no flavor whatsoever. It seemed fresh, but zero flavor. It was like eating tomatoes & onions without any seasoning. I had a salad with pico de galle, avocados & chicken. Again, bland, bland, bland. Chicken had no flavor. They clean the lettuce, but do not let it dry because my meal was sitting in a half of inch of water on the plate. Again, items were fresh, but absolutely flavorless. I would never spend the money to go back there again.

Its a refreshing new place in Parkland, great food and friendly service. I strongly recommend the steak fajitas, steak comes in a skillet and its very tasty.

Good food, friendly, attentive service, definitely a keeper. We live close by, once we discovered this restaurant recently, have been there quite a few times. The service has ALWAYS been competent, friendly and attentive, and the food consistently good. The Owners are normally there and keeping an eye on everything. I am surprised to see any negative comments, but every business has an occasional bad day, and undoubtedly lot of turnover in restaurant help. Judge for yourself. There are few restaurants in Parkland, and this is a good one.

Went with a friend for dinner didn’t expect to have slimy stuff in our ice tea & lemonade or the unprofessional way it was handled when it was brought to the«managers» attention. We were concerned with the condition of the kitchen and the thought of unsafe food if the beverages were served to us like that. We left and will not be back! A big thumbs down for Blue Agave

Living in south Florida, we’re very fortunate to have a variety of latino and spanish food but Mexican isn’t one of them. There are a handful of places and I’ve tried many of them but I don’t find any of them anything close to the quality of mexican cuisine in Chicago. This place is definitely a contender, though. Diners are greeted at their tables by the traditional nachos and salsa. I thought the medium/mild one had a burnt taste to as if the jalapenos had been fire-roasted. I sometimes prepare mine like that but this one didn’t exactly make me happy. But when I asked for one that was hot, I got exactly what I wanted. This had so much fire I could feel my lips swelling and that’s what it’s supposed to do. House margharita’s are 2−4−1 and they come fast! The menu is exhaustive! So much variety it’s hard to mention it all. Suffice to say, some items stand out because they have pictures with them so I happened to see one that looked great and I made that my choice for dinner. I ordered the Tres Amigos, which is three meats in different salsas; one red, one green, and one in a chile relleno. Accompanied by the typical beans, rice and salad, it was good. The meat in the salsas was a bit tougher than I would have liked and I think they would be better if they were sitting in the salsa to absorb it longer than if it was just ladled on at serving, which is what I think was done, but it was still good. The green salsa was weaker than the red salsa but the chile relleno just blew my mind. The weakest part of dinner was the dessert. We ordered flan, which isn’t typical mexican but because we had a taste for it. This came out more like tres liche and was cakey instead of puddingy. All 4 of our party had one bite and left it because it wasn’t flan and if it was, it was the worst we ever had. In summary, I liked what I had and service was prompt and fast. We will definitely return and try some different items on the menu.

Food-10/10 Drinks-10/10 Service– 10⁄10 Rosana was brilliant with her service. Having worked in the restaurant business I can endorse the fact that she was amazing to be a bar tender/server and hostess all by herself. The food quantity and quality was excellent… If you live nearby or far… An amazing Mexican restaurant to come to with friends or family… Note: Cost of the food to portions is unbelievable…

Horrible service. Food is good but they overcharge on a lot of things and wont give you the happy hour special unless you ask. Veggie quesadilla was really good though.

Pretty decent for a local place. Served chips and salsa, I thought the chips tasted ‘baked’ vs fried(hey.if i’m gonna ruin the diet at least make them taste like it’s worth it), and the salsa was just ok. Fresh, but nothing stood out. I did ask for some spicy salsa and definitely better. We did have a chorizo and egg burrito and I really did like this. So I will try again and see how it goes.

Not many good places to have something yummy in the Mexican fair but this place was ok not to bad if they would cut back on the salt in the beans and rice things might be better I think I might go back to try it again but is the salt doesn’t cut down I won’t give it another shot I love helping the biz but not if they don’t want to help me
