If I could call a place in Parkersburg my «hometown» spot, it’s the Par. Friendly, engaging staff make the experience fun. Great traditional bar food, and ribs that are on par with some of the best I’ve had all over the country.
Wednesday nights: Team Trivia. Draws a great crowd, it’s fun, it’s free to play.
Saturday morning: Bloody Mary breakfast. Do it.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the menu is small, but you’ll be hard pressed to be at a loss for a choice. It has sandwiches and heftier entrée fare.
Give these fine folks a visit if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place to relax with friends or after a long day.

Great food, daily specials, great beverage selection, and very reasonable prices. Every sandwich I’ve tried was freshly made and very tasty. They’ve recently added some things to their menu such as the Bourbon Burger with bacon, onion rings, and bourbon sauce. Delicious. Their chili is also great over chips, fries, or by itself. The steak sandwich is very good. I’m not much of a ribs fan, but my friends rave about them. The facility is kept very clean. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to customer needs. I believe they have Bloody Mary Breakfasts on the weekends. A hidden gem in the Mid-​Ohio Valley.
