Colorado Cataract & Laser

I recently found this web site and wanted to post a review for those who are seeking a O.D. that is more concerned about her patients and their vision problems than money. I have been a patient of Dr. Carlson for three or four years now and I can honestly say that I have never been treated by any eye doctor with as much caring and respect as Dr. Carlson. I’m slightly older than dirt, so I have seen my fair share of eye doctors and none can compare with Dr. Carlson. She has never made me feel rushed during my appointments and takes the time to answer all my questions. Since I have been under her care she makes recommendations that will suit me, but still explains all of the available options I have, such as progressive lenses compared to contacts that have one lens for close vision and one for distance. She knows that I would not be satisfied with either but still explains everything.
You are probably looking for someone you can trust that cares about your vision as much as she cares about hers. I don’t think you will have to search any longer, it’s highly unlikely that you will find an O.D. that will give you 100% in all areas of your eye care.

I have never had a better eye doctor! Dr. Carlson is the best! She takes her time to make sure everything is just right. I have had many eye doctors treat me like I am another guy in the assembly line, but not here. I have had a really hard time getting contact lenses to fit due to astigmatism and previous laser surgery. This is the first time I have felt comfortable in contacts in a very long time. So even if you are not looking for laser correction or cataract surgery, just a basic eye exam, I would highly recomend Colorado Cataract and Laser!

Let me just say… this place is fantastic! Every single person, from the receptionist to the Dr and support staff introduced themselves to me and made me feel welcomed. I saw Dr Teresa Carlson today. She took lots of time to answer all of my questions. She was kind, gentle, and thorough, explaining every step in the exam.
