Love the atmosphere and food at Reality’s. The only problem is this is non-friendly to people who have to eat gluten free. It is so easy to add gluten free bread so that sandwiches for breakfast and lunch would be available. There are so many other places that do so that I find I don’t really come in as much anymore. Hopefully, that will change and Reality’s will be available to the many people who need to eat gluten free.

I love this place! I stop there on my way to work and in addition to awesome cakes and pastries they have the best soups and sandwiches! I recommend the turkey club on cheddar sour dough and the chicken tortilla soup!

This café is the first one I’ve been to since we moved to KY and it’x exactly the kind I’ve been looking for to relax and work on things. It’s large(maximum capacity 50) and well stocked with various coffee drinks, teas, cold drinks, coke products, blended drinks, and chai. THECHAI. Oh my gawd the chai is to die for! I ordered the Chocolate Chai, hot, and it was so smooth and tasty… not too sweet, creamy, and a whole lotta goodness… They have freshly baked goods that’s prepared in shop. There was maybe one or two items that’s from outside the shop. I had the apple danish and it was so good! It was a bit too sweet bc of the caramel cream on top, but if you had it with an unsweetened hot drink, it would be perfectly paired! My friend and I has been sitting around for hours taking advantage of the casual atmosphere and free wifi. Next thing we know, it’s closing time! So while we built up an appetite, we indulged ourselves into their food menu. I got a half Cesar chicken salad wrap and my friend got the Bill’s chicken salad sandwich. The cesar wrap was basic, no complaints or rave here, BUTTHECHICKENSALAD. OMGGGGG You have got to have the Bill’s chicken salad sandwich! Overall, i had a great first experience and would def. return!

The best coffee shop ever! The caramel apple danish or the signature cinnamon roll paired with a jack bauer mocha… Ahhhhh…it’s like a little piece of Heaven on earth! I’ve never tried 1 thing that I didn’t love!

At Reality Tuesday, you will find a less-snooty, grassroots and more laidback coffee shop environment, which is quite nice. No aggravating background music, either. The staff are lovely, patient and oozing hospitality. I am not a coffee shop lover(I shy away from the little bites-and nibbles foodstuffs that coffee shops are notorious for serving, and I’m not a coffee fanatic), but I was meeting a friend who loves RT and he wasn’t going to be convinced to go elsewhere. The place was very busy too when we arrived, but the cozy space intelligently utilizes every square foot of space that it has with plenty of tables and chairs, without feeling cramped or intrusive(high top tables alternating with low, cushioned armchairs, etc.). We found a fabulous selection of delicious coffee drinks and other beverages at RT that rival any commercial chain coffee shop, at the same prices too(this is quite admirable for a one-shop independent, and attests to the fact why they have been in business for 15+ years). If RT was in my neck of the woods, I would honestly pick them over a Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts any day of the week. My kiddo had a java chip Frappuccino and loved every slurp. I had the BEST chai tea latte that I’ve ever sipped, and it was their«skinny» version. Suffice to say that RT’s skinny version was ridiculously rich and creamy and flavorful. The in-house pastry selection looked mouthwatering as well, with an assortment of frosted cookies, Danishes, cheesecakes and muffins. We split a slice of the espresso rum cheesecake, and admittedly, I wasn’t impressed — personally, I make a much better cheesecake. It was very dry and overbaked and crumbled under our forks. My friend loved his cookies though, and I was covetously eyeballing one of the most delicious looking treats I have ever seen(a GERMANCHOCOLATEDANISH!). The lunch food was«meh», I didn’t love my salad(but my daughter liked her BBQ chicken quesadilla). Based on the staff, homemade pastries, coffee/beverage selections for the prices and the chill environment, I would definitely rank RT as one of my better coffee shop experiences. And if you ARE a fan of the coffee shop scene, then you will love RT.

Personally, it was ok. The place is more for people who don’t like going to coffee shops inside the city. This isn’t a place where they are ecstatic and picky about coffee. Service is average. I didn’t experience anything negative or positive. The atmosphere feels like every other local greater Cincinnati coffee shops. It has a lot of room to sit and isn’t overwhelmingly loud. Coffee was mediocre. Would I return? Maybe.

This coffee shop is a quaint little shop that looked family owned.(I saw a picture of a family near the registers where you wait for your drink.) When you walk in it just feels so inviting. You just want to sit down and hang out. The staff is very friendly and are willing to engage in a conversation. There is plenty of seating so it won’t get as packed as fast as other tiny shops. The coffee selections are quality. Again I always try the mocha of every coffee shop I visit. This shop rivals my favorite one in Cincinnati. I saw while I was there they have breakfast options. They also have muffins and donuts. I had the lemon poppyseed and it was very good. They have a microwave on a table so you can heat up the muffin. This shop is not far over the border from Cincinnati and is worth a visit.

The friendliest, most dedicated coffee shop in Northern Kentucky. Literally so many drink options, it’s almost overwhelming in the greatest of ways.

Soo much better than Starbucks. They have so many options for coffee. They have really good sandwiches and muffins. If you are a frequent customer you should make sure to ask for one of the cards to punch out so you can get a free drink! By far my favorite coffee place

I’ve never had a reason to go to this part of town, but went here to meet a potential caterer for my upcoming wedding. The vibe was very chill and relaxed, and it ended up being a great spot for a one on one meeting/interview. I could see it being a great place to study too. It’s not far from downtown. I can’t speak for the coffee, but the blueberry pomegranate smoothie was delicious :)

Nice café with pastries and pretty good coffee. Very high level of self serve even to the point of being directed to a microwave when I asked for the blueberry muffin to be warmed. Quiet and nice, service could be more extensive for the price.

Great local coffee shop vibe with very good, healthy sandwich and salad options. Just off i75/71 exit 189 makes this a treat for people like me who travel through the area often. Brought my son with me this tune though and he said«I’d come here a lot if I lived here», to which I responded«I come here often and I don’t(live here)».

Love the atmosphere first off, such a quaint little shop. And it’s a nice touch that they support local artists which helps to add a nice visual touch each time you visit. The brews; my favs being the highlander grogg and spiced vanilla chai, are always on point and bakery/pastries never fail when satisfying your palate. My favorite thing though has to be the lunch; half and half. The half café salad always looking and tasting so fresh from the next door marketplace! and the homemade chicken salad…(I’m salivating as I speak!) And in my opinion you must have it on the croissant. I love that they have goetta on deck for breakfast options too. The owners couldn’t be more friendly and involved with the customers and you just can’t resist the urge to leave with a smile and feeling good! I HIGHLY recommend you try this place, you’ll be hooked!

Special local coffee house. Quality coffee. Handmade pastries and cheesecake to die for. Friendly staff and the owners are great members of the community. Also try the food! My fave is the hummus salad. Local artists have things on display for purchase too. A little pricey, which is the sole reason this isn’t 5 stars.

This shop is awesome. For those of you who prefer the big conveyor belt coffee operations, you may not love Reality. For those that love walking in and trying new flavors and new ideas, this is a wonderful place. The pastries are delicious, but the staff is the nicest that you will find. As a side note, this place makes a hell of a birthday cake if you have a need for that!

The house coffee blend was fantastic. Pleasant and friendly service. They have pastries and also breakfast sandwiches made to order. I got a bacon, egg & cheese which took a few minutes but was a pretty solid choice!

Great coffee, salads, and super friendly staff and owners. They get you in and out on weekdays and never rush you if you are there for an extended stay on weekends. Try the cheesecake for a delicious treat. The pieces are huge and perfectly homemade.

I really like this local coffee shop. It was a favorite when I lived on that side of town. The plain old grogg coffee is a good choice to wake up in the mornings. Nice balance of flavor and strength. This shop has plenty of seating. It can seat larger groups than most coffee shops. Reality has friendly owners and staff and often features local artists and musicians. Service is quick. Drinks are average price and definitely fair for the quality you receive. I prefer espresso drinks and they make a delicious white chocolate mocha. Oh and don’t forget to splurge on one of the freshly made muffins. They pair well with a plain coffee. Pass up the big coffee chain and engage in a local experience. You won’t regret it.

We were headed out for a little trip to the Carolinas and coffee was a necessity. I had my eyes peeled for something that was close to the road and not a Starbucks — and then I saw a sign for this place. It was about a mile from the interstate, and I’m so glad we stopped. We grabbed a few pastries — Caramel-frosted donut, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and a Lemon-Poppyseed Muffin — and everything was darn tasty. My Pumpkin Latte was good, not too bitter like it tends to be at independent coffee shops. Better labeling of the pastries would be appreciated though!
