I’d give this place a negative review if I could. Horribly rude service. Luke warm steamed milk with no espresso. Waste of my $ 10. Never going back. If you’re not a local seems like they don’t want to help you. Even if you tell them it’s your 1st time here.

My friend and I got lost in Covington trying to go to devou park and we strolled down Main Street and I thought the whole area was super cute. We just popped in and out of stores and everyone greeted us and appreciated even just our time. The coffee haus was the last place on our stop just to take a coffee break. Cute place and the coffee I was good. I just got their house roast. My friend got a iced mocha coffee and it was really good. They had a menu but I was hard to really read and decide because it was on a picture changing screen. So you only have about 10 seconds to read it over and decide until it comes around again within the other 3 or 4 pictures. The atmosphere is really homey and it’s comfortable. We sat outside because it was a pretty nice day! I will definitely be back on main strasse to enjoy the home town love.

We were down in Covington for the Mainstrause Bazaar and stopped in here to grab a coffee and some tea. It’s a really nice old home, converted into a coffee shop. While service was a little disjointed, they were friendly and got things done correctly. We also ordered a strawberry shortcake. It was just okay. While the cake was flavorful(it had strawberries in it), they topped it with a thick buttercream. It wasn’t bad, just not my thing. I would certainly come here again.

Friendly, but pretty empty on the Tuesday BF and I went to it. Used a Groupon for two… included an appetizer, two sandwiches and two coffee drinks as desert. BF had their club, I had the BLT. He tried the hot chi latte, I had the warm bananas foster with butterscotch. Manager and sandwich and coffee slinger were very nice. They have an open mic night on Wednesdays. We want to go back for it.

Fantastic burritos! Very filling and delicious. Scones are always great too and always different. Bourbon balls are a delightful treat, creamy and tasty! Coffees are wonderful also. Nothing but good things to say! Keep it up!

Not only was this place the cutest thing I’d seen in a long time, but everything about it was just fantastic. I had the Highlander and a scone and both were delicious. The scone was a little biscuit like, but that’s not a bad thing! It was very tasty. I wanted to try more of their stuff but had absolutely no room after the GIGANTIC mug of coffee. You know those unattainable Central Perk sized coffee cups? Yup, they have them. And they’re affordable. I’d have paid more for a much more disappointing experience at any Starbucks in town. I loved this place. The only thing I think they could do to make it better is if they had free wifi.

Nutty Irishman coffee was so delicious on a rainy day. We loved the atmosphere. It was a very relaxed shop, and they had pastries and mini pies. I highly recommend this spot in Covington. There is a second floor you can use, and they also have board games available. I believe the third floor is being turned into an open mic night kind of area soon. Very cool!

Nice looking place, with poor service. serious service problem, and I would say that all that’s wrong is on the owner… would be different if coffee were special, but it’s not… the coffee is just ok(Starbucks at least makes a hot cup of coffee)…

Terrible place. Server picked her nose and wiped her boogers on her jeans. Then made me coffee. I’ll never go back… Place is a joke

Very friendly staff, great menu, fairly priced, great looking breakfast and lunch options. Only thing holding it back for me was the coffee wasn’t very hot. Barely warm. I wish I could rate 4.5 because they deserve more than a 4 but not quite a 5. Debated a lot and leaving at 4 but if make it back this trip I’ll likely bump up to a 5 with an edit to this review. Walking distance from a lot of the hotels in the area and a pretty large number of eateries all around it make this a nice location.

I ordered from here for the first time today. In my office, we have food delivered often and today I saw Bean Haus and decided to try it since it is usually just me in the office on Friday’s! I ordered the Bean Haus Club Sandwich, fires, and coffee. It said it would take an hour but it didn’t even take that! Casey delivered the order himself and was very friendly! I was very impressed by how quickly the order came and how nice Casey was! The sandwich was absolutely delicious, as well as the fries! They also gave a turnover along with my order which was delightful! I am an avid coffee drinker and loved their coffee! I’m so excited to tell my coworkers about this place so we can order it more often! I also can’t wait to go into their location for myself rather than just ordering! A very satisfied customer!

Nice space and board game selection. The coffee was good. I enjoyed the people who were working. Very chill space. The latte in a mug was mostly milk. I’d have appreciated a better ratio of milk to espresso, but it didn’t taste bad.

We were sent by the bartender at WiseGuy Lounge after she heard my boyfriend mention he needed a coffee. So glad we took her up on it! This shop is adorable and offered a great selection at reasonable prices. Full disclosure: I ordered a hot cider and my boyfriend kept it simple with a black coffee, so I can’t speak for their crafted beverages. We both really enjoyed our drinks, though, and they were served fresh and hot. We hung out in the downstairs area for a little while, and enjoyed playing the selection of board games they have available. Despite being heckled by another patron(all in good fun!) I thought this was a lovely way to enjoy an hour or so. The entire building is intimate and adorable, and I took a poke around upstairs when I ventured up to use the restroom. They have additional seating, including a private room with a fireplace. Bonus points: my boyfriend overly enjoyed pronouncing the German«Haus» … for the remainder of the day.

I live right down the street and it’s great to grab a coffee, but $ 3.25 for a slice of quiche the size of a quarter!!! It doesn’t even taste like much :-(super-sad because you def want to support a local coffee shop. Get a coffee… skip the quiche. Sorry guys, you really hurt our feelings with this move.

I wish that I could give this shop a good review. My wife and I have been in numerous times to buy coffee, pastries, milk, eggs, and many other items. We’ve had meetings in the shop, we’ve recommended it to friends and family, and enjoyed having a «mom and pop» local coffee shop in our neighborhood. This is why it disheartens me so much to write this review. I walked in on a Saturday morning and waived hello to the manager/owner(who I had spoken with many times and who knew my wife and I from our frequent purchases at the shop), sat down and started studying with a friend of mine. We had been there about 30 minutes when he VERY rudely came over to us and said, «get out if you’re aren’t buying anything, these seats aren’t free.» I understand the need to fill the shop with paying customers, it is a business after all, but 1) there were plenty of seats around, 2) the owner knew us because we had come in so often to purchase things 3) even if the owner truly thought that we were taking seats from other customers, there are many other, polite ways to handle this other than raising his voice in the middle of the store around other customers. The rudeness that was displayed that day by the owner is enough to keep me from going there ever again. This is no way run a neighborhood business. We were willing to pay the prices(which are higher than Starbucks or other chains) because we like to support our local establishments but patronage should come with a welcoming, neighborly environment.

I always love to try a new coffee joint. When I came here and ordered my standard latte I wasn’t necessarily impressed, but not hating it either. I’m not a fan of when a coffee joint pours what seems to be like two entire cups of milk into a latte, so then I can basically hardly taste the coffee at this point. Then again, maybe I should have just ordered coffee on its own and added my own half and half. Overall, I would come back and order a coffee next time so I could actually try the coffee. I also got an apple turnover to go since they were luring me in with their turnover-ness. When I tried it, it seemed like there was basically no apples in it. I mean these were some decent sized turnovers that looked handmade, and the filling to crust ratio was way off. I basically ate the filling and threw away the crust which accounted for a solid 80% of the turnover. I will say the filling was good and the crust was good, but again… I wanted more filling. They did have some nice looking sandwiches they were arranging behind the cashier. Next time, I’ll order a coffee and a sandwich and see how that goes.

My wedding there looked amazing! The food and service was SUPERB!!! I’m glad we chose to get married here. The fun part was the people on the street(customers) at the end were coming in and pleasantly surprised they became welcome guests to our wedding and celebration.

Stopped in for coffee and to read for a few hours with my girlfriend. Ordered iced coffee and a «milky way». We ordered and sat outside. Service was prompt. Drinks were delicious. Talked to the owner a bit, very friendly and easy to talk to. Ended up trying out some of their apple pie/strudel. Fantastic topping made with oatmeal. Left with the rest of that pie and a loaf of tomato basil bread(also delicious). We will definitely be back.

They just reopened after two other coffee shops gave the same location a shot – hehe espresso pun. This leads one to believe it might not be the best location for a coffee shop. Thankfully, unlike the most recent one before them, they are open in the morning. Pros: It’s a pretty, old building. The staff were super friendly. Cons: Styrofoam cups in the recycling age. Parking can be tricky. The coffee itself? Fair to middling. If I could use half-stars, this would get a solid 2 and ½. To be fair, I will round up to 3.
