Silver is gone. Bummer! Here are some alternatives with echoes of Silver past: 1. Fletchers is amazing. Food and service are second to none. It can get a little bit loud in the thick of a weekend or holiday evening so consider requesting a table that is not in the middle of the rooms. 2. Handle is another fantastic dining experience and even slightly more Silversque than Fletchers in my opinion. Handle is located where Jean Louis used to be. 3. Tupelo has replaced Silver and has not changed the infrastructure and interior design all that much. It serves steaks and more southern fare. A little bit boring food-wise and haphazard service. Gets a pass though as new places always have kinks to work out. RIP Silver. 4. other honorable mentions on Main street: Zoom, Purple Sage, and High West.

Permanently closed. Spring 2015. Table in front window is set, alas, we’ve seen the last of Silver diners.

I went to Silver this past week. It is a very cool looking restaurant that has a hip vibe. The ambience is very nice and I had high hopes for the food. The staff seemed nice. For starters, my wife an I ordered the chopped salad. I liked it and thought that it had a nice bite with the artichoke hearts. I liked that they split it for us on separate plates. My wife had a less favorable view of the salad and thought it was heavy. We also ordered the oven roasted olives which never made an appearance as the waiter was one of those who relied on his memory. We thought it was being served as a separate course so we did not remind the waiter. However, once our main showed up we realized that he had forgotten it. For the main course we both had the pork cheeks. I thought if was ok, not great. My wife on the other hand thought it was too rich and sat in her stomach like lead. If you are in the mood for something rich and heavy this dish might be for you. However, with the caveat that you should have dessert afterwards as the taste does not leave your mouth. This was a typical restaurant on Main Street which had a cool vibe but not so great food or prices. I doubt that this would be a repeat for me.

Wish there were a 3.5 star option… after reading other Unilocalers’ recommendations for ordering bartenders roulette cocktails, 5 of 6 in our party ordered it, giving just the spirit request and choosing sour, bitter or sweet. Somehow between the order going to the bartender and comong back to us, 3 of 5 were wrong… unclear whether our waiter didnt know whose drink was whose or if bartender didn’t make two of them on the rocks as requested, or mixed the ingredients… it was def a miss. The food was very good, with the exception of the cornish game hen– friend didn’t like that unusual dish and its sides. The arugula salad was good and the cauliflower plantain soup was interesting, mostly just tasting the heat of cayenne pepper at the end of the bite. Probably wouldn’t put this on my list of places to visit in park city.

Sat downstairs which was a bit lonely but you quickly get over it when you realize how trendy and cozy it is. The waitress was super nice and really good at paying attention even though it got busy. The upstairs is definitely more lively. I was on a date so I didn’t mind not shouting all night! The bread they first bring to you is to die for, we ordered the polenta and the chopped salad as a start that was good, and the short ribs and fish were very good as well. Everything was nice. Not fantastic, but nice. We went upstairs to the dance area and it was really fun!

Went for cocktails and dessert, both were fantastic. Do the bartender’s roulette for your drink, the bartender knows what he is doing and will blow your socks off.

Wipe your plate good — Period — Details??? Oh alright. We had a reservation for 5:30(when they opened for dinner) and we promptly seated down stairs where we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Service was attentive but lauded back and not at all pushy. Of the appetizers, I’d have to say, the baby octopus and the Brussel sprouts stood out. All the salads we tried were generous and tasty. On the entrée topic everything was top notch. The Cobia I had was crisp on the outside and absolutely buttery on the inside. The yam hash it was perched atop was so good I left nothing but a smear of sauce when they took my plate. The other entrees were all gone at the end of our meal so I’m assuming they were equally as tasty. Drinks…(Always at the end of my reviews lest you assume I was inebriated while tasting & reviewing) Several of us threw the dice and went with the Bartender’s Roulette. In my case«Vodka & make it sour» which came out in the form of a lemon vodka mixed with some wizardry and an absinth rinse. Let’s just say all rolls were great and several of our party threw the dice a second time. Over all you can’t go wrong and your money is well spent here.

I had imagined that this restaurant was new with some rough edges, that the team hadn’t yet pulled together and that the pricing was still being worked out. Sadly, that’s not the case. The food was excellent, but the service was inattentive, the ambiance confused, and the pricing off for what was on offer. My order included pomegranate brussel sprouts, a very nicely-seasoned and interesting bell pepper and leek soup, and a pork cheek that was flavorful and well-presented. The pricing wasn’t great, but the food itself was quite good. My cocktail(the Ladies and Gentlemen) was a worse version of a Last Word that was not worth the $ 12 So my verdict? I wish the chef the best of luck, but the wait staff, the cocktail program, and the décor were flat out bad.

Obscenely over priced and this coming from a Californian. I mean $ 72 for a bottle of Francis Ford Coppola cab? Even Francis doesn’t take himself that serious. If your going to charge these prices for average wine ATLEAST serve them in nice stem ware! The food is good but $ 32 for pappardelle is just sick! If it was smothered in white truffles maybe $ 25. Service is attentive and friendly but the atmosphere is totally disrupted by the DJ spinning crappy wedding dance music upstairs. Was anyone thinking when they set the DJ up during dinner hours? We were eating at 8 pm not like 11.

I was told 9:15 and was seated at 9. Great service from the moment we stepped in the door, we arrived early so we waited by the bar upstairs in a lounge area, my son wanted a drink like the ones coming out and the bartender made a hibiscus mocktail, it was good enough that we fought over who would finish it, once seated our server Katie made great recommendations. We loved all of it ! We heard the short rib was great, it wasn’t on the menu but it ended up on our table! Chef Sergio made a grilled cheese off menu for my son and again I ended up eating some it was delicious. All in all great ambiance, AMAZING service above and beyond! Get the short rib, also the diablo cocktail!

Went here a couple of days ago and left feeling very conflicted. While the food and ambiance were fantastic, the service was atrocious. The waiter had a serious attitude through the entire meal and never checked on my table. I attempted numerous times to get her attention, but she simply ignored me. Eventually, I had to revert to asking other waiters for help once it became clear she had even forgot to bring out our food. Easily the worst service I have ever received. However, the food was great. The Brussels sprouts and the wagyu steak both had great flavoring and were cooked perfectly. But, with such terrible service, I don’t think I would ever go back for the cost.

We dined here at 8pm on Saturday night during our snowboard trip. The ambience is trendy and very nice. Food: We had Ono Crudo, Short Rib and Wildmushroom Pappardelle, and they were all good. Ono Crudo was light and had a nice portion to share between two. Pappardelle was very flavorful. Like another said on the review, the portion is somewhat small for an entrée. I only got a bite of short rib, but that was good. Oh don’t forget their bread. It’s so good that they gave us another small loaf:) Drinks: We had Silver Mule and AG#41?(Titto, thyme simple and lemon or something like that). They taste good, but they were VERY weak. I usually take a while to finish one drink but I could finish it up rather quickly as it’s not so alcoholic. For $ 12, I would expect a little more titto. I heard that their cocktails were good, so that was a disappointment. Service: Our waitress was tentative, and she would make a recommendation. She came to check up on us a couple of times to ensure everything is alright.

I love Silver! The ambience is always amazing. During the holidays there can be a short wait but the bar upstairs never disappoints. The staff has always been great and it’s the perfect spot on Main Street if you’re going out after!

One of my favorite restaurants in Park City. We’ve been here a few times… in the summer they offer a buy one get one entrée for $ 2 with the $ 2 donated to a different charity each week. So we typically go in the summer. Every time we have been there, the food has been really good. I get whatever risotto is on the menu every time for an appetizer and they have all been delicious. Sometimes I consider just getting two orders for my dinner. The entrees have all been really good, too but the desserts are delicious. Interesting combinations and I always wish I had more. Overall, I’d recommend trying this one out. It is definitely one of the best restaurants on Main Street.

This is a very quaint and unpretentious restaurant, right on Main Street in Park City. We were quickly seated and waited on; I think a hallmark of this eatery. With the small dining room, they likely need to turn tables quickly. I couldn’t help but try the oven roasted olives. I thought I’ve had olives in every way possible: from the can, on pizza, in martinis and on my fingers. But never roasted! I’ve got to tell you it was like eating warm brie for the first time. Our server told us that the chef worked in Italy for several years and that’s where the idea was born. You’ve got to try this and for $ 8 — well worth it. I had the trout, which was a nice serving and perfectly prepared. But, my buddy got the Pork Cheeks. He was nice enough to let me have a taste and it was like eating pork butter, if there was such a thing. Absolutely succulent and delicious. The only reason I’m giving them four stars is because we had to ask for the 2 for 1 entrée special; it wasn’t deducted on the bill. In every case, other Park City restaurants readily tell you up front about this kind of special — but not Silver. And then we brought in our own wine and were charged a $ 20 corkage, which seems more of a deterrent to bringing in your own wine than anything else. I mean, we still spent over $ 150. Nonetheless, the food alone will keep me coming back to Silver Restaurant!

Best restaurant in Park City. The menu changes frequently, but has a plenty of choices for everyone. There is always a burger. We had a Spanish style octopus and pumpkin risotto to start, both incredible. Our entrees were ricotta gnocchi and the cod with veggies. The portions are pretty large for the quality. The wine menu is quite well selected. Glasses range from $ 8-$ 14 and are incredible at every price point. With the variety of cocktails, there is surely something for everyone. The décor is a little modern for Park City, but don’t let that deter you. The service is very warm; the owner often makes it around to the tables. We came once in yoga pants and sweatshirts and no one seemed to notice.

Absolutely fantastic fish entrees. Best trout I’ve ever had anywhere. Hubbie’s fish was amazing too. Mushroom Pappardelle was mouthwatering good — although very small. Hardly any squash blossoms. Salads great, but a little small. Loved it all — just would have liked a little more of everything. Gorgeous party room and bar upstairs.

Silver is fantastic. I ordered the cobia and it was perfectly juicy with a nice crisp sear. The brussel sprouts were outstanding and everything on the plate paired nicely with the mustard sauce. I also tasted the duck breast and it was absolutely delicious. Very tender and flavorful. Everything out my experience was great. The food, presentation, service and ambience were top notch and I highly recommend dining at Silver. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Park City.

Traveled to Park City from Salt Lake City last night for my Birthday dinner with my fiancé. We heard Silver was a great place to go. They were moderately busy but I would say very slow for a Sat. Night. The hostess said there was a small 15 wait and we were welcome to go upstairs to the bar and wait. Wait we did. After 30 mins I went downstairs and asked if we were still on the list or not. The hostess assured me it was only another 5 mins and she would be right up to get us personally. 20 mins later we figured it would be easier to go elsewhere because there was obviously a problem. The place was not any busier and not even half full. I approached the hostess station and said«your 15 mins has nearly turned into an hour so we are going to leave». I was expecting a «no dont leave your table is ready» but got an insincere, «oh ok sorry». To be honest we were walk in without a reservation but an honest«45 to an hour wait» would have been nice because we were starving. An apology and perhaps a complimentary app or plate of bread would have gotten us to stay. This restaurant might have good food but I fear we will never know or even care to know. I give a one star for a well made cocktail which took 15 to get at an empty bar btw.

Sleek décor, convenient location on Main Street, and great service for a private party of nearly 80 people. I enjoyed the potato purée soup to start and loved its peppery goodness. I followed with the veggie crepes and couldn’t have been happier… they were light and flavorful. The bread pudding was selected for our dessert… I liked it, but not as much as I normally like bread pudding. Definitely a place worth trying out in Park City!
