Americas Best Value Inn

This place is disgusting and horrible. The Arabian guy that owns this place is a complete ass for starters. The we get to our room and it is infested with roaches. The solution? They give me a can of roach spray so I can play exterminator. Yes I know it’s a cheap hotel what do you expect and I would understand a roach or two, but this was like a breeding ground for them. I will never go back and wouldn’t even recommend this place to an enemy. Only gave it one star cause it makes me. Should be 0 stars.

The room itself was actually OK. Clean and not too run down. I believe this used to be a Best Western. If you are on a budget, you could do worse.
TV reception was pathetic. So if no TV is a deal breaker, look elsewhere.
Bread and bagels at breakfast were stale as were the breakfast sausage biscuits. Milk (stored in a refrigerator along with a lot of other things) was about to turn. No one seemed to care. They did have a waffle maker and the batter was good. You could clean pipes with the coffee.
Connecting to WiFi was like a circus. You see several being broadcast, none of which give you an indication that it is for the hotel. When I called he desk, the staff was absolutely clueless. Bascailly just said «Try them all until one works. Good luck.»
Staff was courteous (in a forced, mechanical kind of way) but gave us the impresion that they couldn’t care less if we had a good stay or not.
The hotel is right next to a very unimpressive restaurant called Magels Grill. So if you hav eno wheels or don’t want to go far, I guess it is an OK option. The staff is pretty inept.
