Visited this location for third time yesterday(long story on other two visits) and was immediately greeted warmly by a consultant. Kiki took the time to listen to my skincare /makeup concerns and tried several options until we agreed on a solution. She is knowledgeable about products, their ingredients, empathetic and sweet to everyone. Can’t say enough about competent & wonderful service from Kiki !

I have to be positive about this store because it’s the closest to my house so it’s usually the one I go to out of convenience. The manpower in this store is overwhelming. I was asked by about 6 people what I needed and was a bit pestered by it and totally turned off. I get its they’re job to help but please don’t ask me 6 times. I don’t enjoy my shopping experience. However, when I’m ready to check out, all the people at the register are the ones walking around asking people if they need help. All they need is some balance.

I go to this Sephora out of convenience and close proximity to my office, not because I’m a huge fan of this particular location. The store itself is tidy and well-kept, but I find that they don’t have a lot of items in stock. While they are always helpful and offer to order it online, I’m in the store. The reason I am in the store is because I don’t want to want to order online. I will say that the staff here(when you can actually find someone and have a conversation) deserves 4-stars. They are knowledgeable about the products and have gotten me samples in the past. My biggest gripe with this store is the manpower. There never seems to be enough people to service the customers walking around the store and those wanting to check out. It’s almost impossible to do a quick pop-in for an item as a result and I always end up frustrated pulling my signature passive aggressive sigh in line. Does my review mean anything? No. I’m still going to go. If you’re reading this review you’re still going to go. Just build in some extra time and don’t bank on them having what you need in stock(particularly if it’s a popular item!)

I try my hardest not to go to Paramus under any circumstance. Traffic is awful no matter what time or day you go. But I wound up at this store to pick up Urban Decay’s Naked 3 palate. I have been to three other stores and just started calling every store in NJ to see if they had gotten shipments or returns. This store had JUST gotten a return. I have been searching for this item since it was released on December 3. The girl I spoke to on the phone was really sweet and said she would place the palate on hold for me for 24 hours. I told her I would be right in. When I arrived at the mall, I noticed an $ 85,000 cherry red Mercedes in the lot. OK, if you have this kind of vehicle why are you at Paramus Park and not GSP? I judged this person harshly. Moving on… In the past I have had problems with Sephora«holding» items for me and then releasing them to other customers. So I was a little nervous that this item would be gone when I arrived. I was greeted by friendly associates and told them I just needed to pick up a hold and went to the counter. My item was there. They didn’t ask for my ID though. That was weird. If I had a more normal name, someone else could have gotten it. The store was clean and well staffed. It was a busy Saturday morning. The line at the register moved quickly. I really don’t have any complaints. All in all, a pleasant experience at this store. And mission accomplished! I am withholding a 5th star because it is Paramus Park Mall(yuck) and on Route 17(yuck). Very inconvenient to get to!

They made sure we were comfortable, asked about the special event we needed the products for & gave us really awesome service overall. I will definitely be back for another special occasion in the future.
