Bicycle II

I have recently purchased my third bike from The Bicycle 2, a Bianchi road bike. The owner, Barry, was extremely helpful with the selection of this outstanding machine and I am completely satisfied. I have brought it in for a few normal minor adjustments and Barry gave it a very thorough inspection and adjusted it accordingly. I found the prices of this shop to be very fair and competitive with other shops in the area. The level of customer service and follow-​up is excellent. A very good variety of top name brands and selections. The owner and staff have many years of experience, are professional and pleasant to deal with.

The Bicycle ll is without a doubt the worst Bicycle repair shop in the metro area.
The owner is crude and rude.
He is extremely discourteous. The price structure is predicated upon the fact that the County is wealthy, therefore his prices are inflated.
I have done business with many bicycle repair shops, when I bring my own inner tube the price generally ranges from $ 5.00 to $ 8.00
This store charges $ 18.00 plus tax.
The owner became abusive and used curse words when I questioned his prices.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Horrible customer service and not very knowledgeable.
Guy approached me asking what I was looking for. I told him I was trying on jerseys and looking at bike tights. He started walking away and I asked if he had tights without padding. He said that I was stupid to even ask for them, but yes.
The changing room was a hallway with a broken lawn chair and a creepy portrait staring at me as I undressed. I half expected it’s eyes to move or to see a red ‘record’ button blinking.
When I asked where the tubes were before I left, he was annoyed and told me just to tell me what kind I wanted. I said 27×1 ¹⁄₈ and he said I didn’t know what I was talking about I explained that my bike is almost 30 years old and rolled his eyes. I asked what brand the tubes were and he said «the regular brand.»
Oookay. Not much selection. Not helpful at all. Act like it’s a chore for you to have even entered the store.

This place was very unprofessional. I had my mountain bike tires swapped for road tires here. Upon pick-​up, the technician retrieves my bike from the back. As I inspect the bike I notice a huge gash in the paint near the seat post. I show the technician the damage and he apologizes and offers a free chain cleaning. Huh? I decline and demand the damage to be fixed to which the owner begins yelling at me to leave his store. Needless to say I opened a credit card dispute for the service. This place is GARBAGE.
