Super A Foods

This place is a Mexican haven!!! This place always puts a smile on my face. I love everything about this place. The liquor selection is great… The prices are cheap… The carne asada is tasty… The carnitas are scrumptious. The bakery offers some delicious cakes… The produce is okay! But everything else makes up for it. There were a few times that I purchased avocados for my guacamole and came home having to throw away ¾ of them away because they were rotten. This has happened to me more than once so I would highly suggest to grab your avocados somewhere else. They often times have a parking lot cook out and have bbq chicken for sale. It reminds me of a backyard carne asada. This place is the place for all your backyard carne asada needs. I also love the fact that they offer my favorite liquor bottles in gift packs!!! For affordable prices! This is my «go to» place for all my birthday, wedding, celebration, baptisms, first communion, baby’s first bday, carne asada liquor needs! I also enjoy all the veteranas that work there! Gives the place more credibility for being a bomb Mexican mercado. They are opening a Vallarta around the corner so it will definitely have competition! I would still see my self coming here as it has never let me down! Love you super A! Always and forever! I love shopping here during the week. My weakness is smelling the delicious sweet bread as I walk in. It’s clean and employees are really attentive. Great deals!

Super A Foods is an excellent option for those looking to shop at grocery store without the madness and the feel of a major grocery store (Vons, Wal-​Mart, Target, etc.). This location is clean, the employees are friendly and everything is fairly easy to find. At times they will have deals that put other grocery stores to shame. There is plenty of available parking and it is steps away from the 105. If you live close by, you will get a flyer in the mail with weekly specials. If not, they will have flyers in the store while supplies last. On the weekends they will occasionally sell tacos outside. Not as crowded and hectic as some other stores. They stay open daily from 7am to 11pm which is rare for a small company. Great for those in the area as well as passers by. Everything you need is here for those who need to make a quick grocery store run.

Love this place. Especially the bakery. One of the workers named Sasha was super helpful as well as one of the most beautiful women I’ve seen in LA. I recommend Super A to anyone locally shopping for top quality food.

Stays open pretty late for a small market. Buuuuuut there is only two to three registers open :/​super annoying right? Besides that their selection is great and veggies: fruits are always delish.

This market is not as big as other Super A Foods that I frequent. They do have fresh tortialls and good sweet bread. Customer service is pretty good. BBQ chicken, ribs, and tri tip on sat & sun.

I love this place! I moved out to this area a year ago. this is been one of the places I’ve been getting my groceries it’s had your basic needs good bakery as well. Only thing I don’t like is that when I buy fruit here it ripeness faster than if I buy it somewhere else. Not a big deal…

I used to come here primarily for the Jose Cuervo Mango Margarita mix, but they no longer carry it. The cashiers never have a smile on their face and the place needs better lighting.

This place is great and the employees are really nice. It has it’s own bakery if you’re looking for a cake and don’t want to hit the big crowds in other super markets.

This place is great, I grew up coming here with my parents and this place has came a long way then how it use to be. Workers here are very nice, store is always clean and they always have specials on items all the time.
It gets really really busy about 2 hours before the store closes, weekends and holidays. The rest of the time it is calm but with people shopping for their groceries all the time.
This place is great to shop, no huge lines or problems with the workers or the people.
The bolillos that they sell at the bakery are AWESOME! 4 x $ 1.00. :) They are nice and tender, better then portos or any other bakery.
