Bionico’s Zapopan

This place is unfortunately still open. I should of Unilocaled before I stopped by & avoided the overpriced disappointment. I paid $ 5.00 for what i thought was a large chamango. What a disappointment all I tasted was tapatio on ice with a little bit of unrippened hard mango. Even a raspado from the street vendors was waaay better. Lady who took my order seemed like I was bothering her never mind I was the only one there.

This location is still open. They have rude workers and it seems to bother them when you come in past 9 when they close at 10. They don’t want to serve you and roll their eyes at you when you ask for something that takes work for them to do like a custom juice

Horrible service! The girls work super slow and have bad attitudes! Rude rude rude. Disgusting smoothies and nasty bionicos. Gross. Do not waste your time

I didn’t know fresas con crema came with a layer of banana. If they want to fill the bowl of banana instead of strawberries they should call it something else.

Or rather a «not so smoothie»…there were little chunks of ice in it… Rather than smoothie it was more like a badly blended icee… ugh! The girl behind the counter was struggling with the blender. I think the blender probably needs to be put out to pasture. It was kind of comical. She was sticking a spatula in the blender to help the blender out a little. All the while I began to wonder if she was taught to do that. I wondered if it was safe to do that. The «smoothie» was made of apple, melon and yogurt. It had too much ice in it and didn’t taste yogurtey at all. I should have asked for honey in the «smoothie». Oh well. GROSS! Even the honey wouldn’t have made it better.
They don’t have Rancheritos tortilla chips here:(
This Bionicos Zapopan does not, I repeat, does not even slightly compare to the now defunct one on Florence here in lovely Downey. That place had some really good smoothies.
I also got some plantain chips and they were not very good. They tasted like Chinese almond cookies for some reason. Weird:(
They are nice enough here to let you use your card without any lame convenience fee regardless of how much you buy.
The décor is somewhere between ugly and tacky.
This place is in an ugly little strip mall so it has convenient parking.

Bionicos are good, juices are very good too. I hate the parking but the prices are reasonable and they have the best bionico sauce!!! I could drink that thing in a glass and be happy =)

I work near here and I only order one thing when I come here, but I’m addicted to it so whenever I get a craving, I go. It’s the Hawaiian salad but I substitute the usual fruit (because they put papaya and melon in it which I don’t like) with strawberries, bananas, and apples. Sometimes I mix it up and request jicama or watermelon instead of apples but some people may think the taste doesn’t go well together. They add cottage cheese, honey, granola, coconut shavings, and raisins and my small container is packed full, so much that I have to put an extra plate under it to catch it all when I open it up. Costs $ 6. Yes, I can make this cheaper, I’ve tried and it tastes somewhat similar but not quite the same, and it’s a hassle to carry all these ingredients to work to make for lunch.

I have been wanting to try a bionicos ever since my friend told me about it. Bionicos is basically fresh fruit, topped with sweet cream, raisins, coconut shreds, and nuts. I chose Bionico’s Zapopan because it was close to where I was going.
My bionicos was about $ 4. I took one big bite and realized that I can make this myself. I think next time, I am going to try Ana’s Bionicos in Norwalk so I can compare the two and make a better judgement.

Finally, had my Bionicos fix the other day. My girlfriend recommended this spot. I came here with my daughter and niece. Ordered a $ 35 tray of bionico. It can easily feed ten people. My daughter ordered a cup of sliced cucumbers with lemon and salt.
I was extremely satisfied with both orders. The place is very clean as well.

Place is awesome great smoothies, fruits and veggies. Would recommend. Employee is sometimes moody though. Oh well good stuff

LOVE AT FIRST SIP! Best cantaloupe smoothie ever! Get one its the best the the world! Yes, the world. Ask for your cantaloupe smoothie with Cantaloupe, milk, ice, cinnamon, vanilla, i dont recommend sugar because the fruit is sweet by itself but if you have a sweet tooth ask for sugar too. tell them to blend it and TA-​Da best cantaloupe smoothie ever. I’ve tried to recreate at home and my belnder just isn’t as powerful as theirs, half of the smoothie is foam when I make it :(
anyways EVERYTHING IS FRESH AND FRUITY AND DELICIOUS!
sometimes I drive 30 minutes to get a taste of the goodies that are inside. so much variety. I love fruit and cream, mango and pepper powder and lime, and smoothies from real fruit nothing artificial. Best smoothie place ever.

If you like sugar this is a local place for the bionicos.
