Hello I am highly disappointed in this store! Things are rarely stocked to their fullest, and I have had to throw away several frozen foods… tonight I opened one of the chocolate bannana naked juices, protien shakes it was BAD! I took one drink and smelled it, it smelled like mold… I hope I don’t get sick… I am taki. g it back and complaining big time. I get you guys are about to retire and you don’t give a crap about yr product or customers and it shows! Oh and raising the prices does not help… :(I can’t wait for new ownership!

My wife and I were shopping at Grocery Outlet today in Paradise to pick up some eggs and bread. We couldn’t believe the sign that said, they were sorry for the increase in price for the eggs because, of a Bird Flu in the Midwest. So they raised the price of a dozen eggs $ 1.00. Well on the carton, it shows that they come from Ripon, California. So, I called the store and talked to the owner Pat, she said the price went up because, they are shipping eggs to the Midwest and they don’t control the prices and that they are actually loosing money on eggs. This is such an out and out lie and it’s not the first time we have caught them in lies and we will no longer shop there!!!

Great store, great bargains. I love stopping by here while waiting for my Papa Murphys pizza next door. The inventory is constantly changing and the frozen food area is expansive and filled with name brand food. The only thing I’m slightly wary about is the produce so be sure to pick through thoroughly. The beer/wine section offers a good variety and seems to be the cheapest place around to buy Sierra Nevada beers. Customer service is friendly and fast. Everyone I’ve encountered has a great sense of humor and didn’t judge me when I put a case of wine on the conveyer belt.

I always go in here for one or two items and end up spending close to $ 100. I love that they are starting to carry more vegan products! Morning star breakfast items and quality hemp milk this more recent shopping excursion. I stocked up. YAY! I found some soy chorizo a few weeks ago that was fantastic in my tofu scramble. Keep bringing in more vegan products guys! :D

I have been a long time customer ever since it has opened but have recently had some bad experiences there lately. My car has been broken down for several weeks and I considered myself lucky to live just a bit of a mile away and walking is difficult. Several times I have walked there only to find them out of certain items they usually have. This last time they were out of an item I have never seen them out of. I was pretty upset having to walk a mile to the store to get these at a reasonable price of two dollars rather than the outrageous cost of five dollars next door. I am on a fixed income so if the outlet doesn’t have it I can’t afford to buy it. I told the manager a mildly heavy set man in his late 40s that I walked a mile to the store to get certain things and he said oh we will be getting those in tomorrow morning. Well there were none the next day, now the day after that and it has been two weeks and it is apparent that he is in the habit of telling lies to his customers about what is going to be available when he knows no such thing! Its one thing to do this to customers who can drive and who do not have health issues making it difficult or painful to walk to the store to get items they are told will be there but are not. I do not have a high opinion of nor trust of a manager that engages in dishonest behavior to gain a few bucks. I understand that this is normal for businesses these days but I still resent it. Lately they have been out of a lot of things that They used to always have. When they first opened the prices were awesome and they had a wide variety of items to choose from. Now the prices of things are sometimes double what they used to be even double the prices at Safeway. I used to like to get the grapes but now they are a dollar or two higher and often times I would find bearded old men(Moldy Grapes) in the center. I realize there are mistakes but it wasn’t this way in the beginning. Also lately several times I have almost been knocked over by the young male employees running and sprinting back and forth. I actually felt the wind as one young man springing past me barely missing me me by two or three inches. There are a few other things but I have written a tome already. I am not in the habit of writing negative reviews but the lack of quality and regard for the customer has me writing this two star review instead of a four star one.

Random selection but great deals on most items. A good place to stop before you go to the regular grocery store.

I have been to a lot of Grocery Outlets and this is the BEST one by far. Clean, organized and stocked full of good stuff. I wish I lived closer so that I could shop here before heading back to the Bay…
